I have used Bother for a long time
I have used Bother for a long time. They are generally great. Deliveries on time and efficient. There are occasions when things are not so great - leaks or crushed items but these have generally been acknowledged and rectified. This time I had a broken box and squashed items. I reported this and have heard nothing since. Rather disappointed !

prices seem to yo-yo quite a lot, a few items are actually dearer than Asda even with the members discount. Used to be cheaper for all the items

Really impressed with the service and products. Previous reviews mentioned some spillages, so it is good to see that packaging got improved and everything liquid was in separate bags. Also,the expiry dates are at least a year ahead. I will be ordering again if I need some top up.

Rock solid reliable
I’d never heard of this company until I took up with one of their offers. It’s so easy to use their site, the price for my basket is excellent and they are very reliable. Nothing else needs to be said!

I wanted to buy six boxes but could only buy two lots of three.
I wanted to buy six boxes of cans of Diet Coke but was only able to buy three of Diet Coke and three of Coke Zero. This was a surprisingly irritating limitation.
Having read Bother's prompt and courteous (but fundamentally unhelpful) reply, I will just say that were this limitation not in force, I'd have bought six more boxes from them today - as it is, I'll pay the 50 p extra and go to Tesco, or the penny extra and take a longer journey to Morrisons... where I can buy the Diet Coke I actually want and not a 50:50 mix of Diet and 'Zero.

In order that we can ensure we have the right supply for the demand of our customers, we have introduced a few volume limitations across our entire range.
General product quantity limits shouldn't get in the way of our customers (most are set to 50!) However, please know that lower limits apply to specific items in order that we can deliver more efficiently too.

We know that due to the nature of the goods we sell, our boxes can get pretty heavy. We'll always follow DPD's packaging rules and guidelines on weight restrictions to ensure the safety of their drivers. Having said that, we know that sometimes customers can find a box of household groceries heavier than what they would manage to carry home from the shops. It's practically impossible to carry the contents of your traditional supermarket shop from your car in one go, even though, let's be honest, we've all given it a good go! But in any case, we'd always recommend unpacking your Bother box at your door to lighten the load a little.

Too much packaging.
Too much packaging and items still arriving damaged and crushed. Better off going to the supermarket and saving the environment too. Customer service is good. Ps I do have an electric car.
