Item ordered from them was delivered somewhere near my home. I have no clue where, and was never able to recover the item, but they will not replace or refund the item because it was delivered within .3 miles of my home and they want to wait on UPS for whatever reason. What good is that if I never got it? I would strongly recommend not ordering from them.

terrible customer service. Sold me a Streamlight that they did not have in stock. They reported the t=light shipped. USPS confirmed that it has not been shipped.
Contacted customer service and they reported they were going to wait until Streamlight shipped to them, but the manufacturer has NO TIME FRAME for shipping.
I requested a possible upgrade to a light in stock and they responded that "we don't do that". Very disappointed customer.

I placed an order for +p 9mm ammo. I was sent +p+ ammo. That was not the ammunition I paid for. The barrel of my pistol is not rated for that ammunition and it would have caused potential destruction of my pistol and possibly some extensive permanent damage to myself. If that was the case they would be under a multi-million dollar lawsuit. All I wanted was to return the ammunition and get a refund. They stated that's not their policy. I told them they sent me the incorrect ammunition that I would like a refund. They told me that they didn't have the ammunition I ordered in stock. If they were a legitimate company they would have notified me and told me they did not have the ammunition I wanted and to cancel the order. This is why I think the company is shady and not on the level. Basically they were saying I was stuck with ammunition I couldn't use and I was screwed out of my money. Being a former Marine we don't take that shit lightly. They have zero customer service! Nobody ever answered the phone, we corresponded via email. I did get through to one helpful individual on the military side of their customer service. He was very helpful and understood my situation. He spoke to his boss and they issued a refund as soon as I sent them back the ammunition which I did in perfect condition, unopened. What I didn't get back was $23.52 which I believe is a restocking fee. I should not be charged or restocking fee when this company sent the incorrect ammunition. So I am still owed that money. This went on for several weeks as far as getting a refund. I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from this company in the past but will no longer be ordering from them and will tell anyone who will listen that this company is shady and stay away from it.PSA, hire a few people to pick up the phone on your customer service side. I was told by the individual I spoke with on the military side of your customer service that you had one person answering the phones and they were in the process of training a second. That is pathetic for a company of this size, I guess you're margins are very small and hopefully you will go under soon. No love!

Botach is a great company with really good products. Their shipping is super fast—my orders often show up sooner than expected. I definitely recommend buying from them!

I guess they are competing with Optics Planet for worst place. I’m used to Primary Arms quality of service so my patience is thin for bad companies. For reference I ordered a BCM URG two days ago and it arrives today. One and done for me and Botach!

Update 2 October 2025: After 3 and a half weeks since placing my order the status is “drop ship ready”. I placed my 3rd email regarding my order, It was my second asking to cancel my order. I received a response stating that my order is in the process of being cancelled. I have no idea how their rating is 4.1.

I cancelled my order 2 weeks after placing it. Today I received a status update from Botach. It was to notify me of my refund. How nice, it only took 6 and a half weeks after I cancelled it. Never again!

Paid in Bitcoin with verified transaction ID but received no order confirmation and no reply from customer service. Please respond 4 days

Purchased a bayonet lug picatinny rail for my 10.5 inch ar 15 pistol. It finally gets to me and it doesn't fit the weapon. Tried calling customer service few times and no answer from there company. No free shipping means by the time I ship it back I will be out pocket. The product was only 30 dollars plus tax. What a waste of time. Slow shipping also. I never by from them again

Terrible customer service - not sure if Botach is a victim of the "ghost" work culture going on these days - but it seems like no one is home. I place an order 2 pistol mags on july 31 - order shows as shipped and tracking number provided. two weeks later the tracking number still says awaiting package - i have sent to emails and one message through the website and NO response at all . I guess i will have to dispute the CC charge when i get the bill - I will never order from these guys again - magshack is better - closer to me on the east coast and really ships fast

Very bad experience. My parcel was sent back to them for an unknown reasonand they are asking me a second time to pay to send it back. I received the same robotic message when I complain so I wouldn’t advise to buy from them. They are not reliable and customer service is bad.

I hadn't shopped at Botach in years, but they had a great deal on an HK VP9A1. The order went well, and it shipped quicker than I expected. I had placed the order on 5/21/2025 and it was delivered to my FFL on 5/28/2025.

On 6/18/2025, I received an email addressed to my FFL for some reason stating, "Tax differences from your FFL address change was auto-adjusted and charged in the amount of $17.09." I checked my credit card, and there was a charge from them in that amount. I emailed Botach and asked for clarification. I received a reply within a day or so. Apparently the zip code of my FFL was entered or on file as XXXXX-0000 (x represents the actual zip code). They also clarified that the sales tax was based upon the FFL address and not the purchaser address. I was not aware of this.

I have used my FFL with other vendors and never had an issue with his zip code, though I do not know if I entered the four zeros after the actual zip code or is Botach's system did so. I suspect it was their system since that was how it appeared on his FFL.

Botach has some good deals and generally ships quickly. I gave them four stars instead of five because of the billing issue and me not liking surprise charges on my credit card weeks later.

I have made many purchases from Botach, always completely satisfied with the product being as described and shipped quickly.

When I noticed an error on sales tax on an order, and realized the same on a previous order, I emailed customer service. It was fixed the next day with no hassle or drama. I highly recommend this company.

They picked up quickly when I called with a question. They were very helpful and answered my question. My order was shipped within 3 hours...GREAT PRICES AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Ordered a surplus holster from these guys, received shipping confirmation within 24 hours and it is in route to me via Fedex 2 day! Couldn't be happier with the speed and customer service thus far. I regret not reading reviews before placing my order. I ordered an item, and the company confirmed they have 12 'in stock' and ready to ship. However, my order was cancelled today. When I called/emailed to inquire, I was told that they cancelled my order because the item was out of stock. This is unacceptable. It seems this company takes orders for items they don't actually have and lacks inventory management. This place is a joke.
