The book I ordered was well packaged and I was very pleased with the price. Dispatch and delivery was within the estimate given.

Ordered a book "Giorgetto & Fabrizio Giugiaro Masterpieces" hardback on Saturday 16th September from Books etc via Amazon. Book was despatched on the 19th September and has just been delivered today 26th September with Yodel. It was within estimated time. The book arrived well packed in hard cardboard folder like so it arrived pristine and no dents.

I was amazed that the books arrived from England to Canada so quickly, 9 days fom when I ordered them. They were well packed using paper and cardboard and no plastic. Excellent service from Books etc

Excellent book when finally delivered . Ordered on the 28th august 2023 and delivered on the 9th September 2023 . I’d given up it was ever going to be delivered but Jessica gray at BOOKSect assured me it was on the way and said it had been dispatched on the 31st august 2023 . EBay tracking coming up as dispatched on the 1st September 2023 and yodel has it down as still with the Sender and Royal Mail has nothing on it to date . I’d already had 2 other orders of eBay fail to arrive after being mislaid by Royal Mail apparently who are getting good at that . 2 orders mislaid / lost 😉 , and a mixed delivery by royal mail and yodel for a book from BOOKSect and to date yodel are still waiting for the book from the sender even though Royal Mail delivered my book on Saturday morning on the 9th September 2023 . Original delivery date was estimated for the 2nd to the 5th September 2023 . On the receipt inside from BOOKSect the dispatch date is down as the 30th august 2023 . I don’t know if the book was held back by BOOKSect or Royal Mail had a quick read of the book first as they like repackaging my parcels and pushing my letters aside and loosing my bank statements and waiting for you to give up on letters collected by the postman and sent first class signed for , and only after a claim the postman comes to your front door and tells you that letter is at Chester . No return offered for a fee because someone else in the little stalkers and trolls cult and circle they have going on where I live in dinas , Caernarfon obviously had they eyes set on it , and they got it no matter the cost .

Great prices for comic book hardcover collections and great packaging.
Never had a problem with them. Cant recommend this store enough.

Received a damaged book. I sent photos of the damage, organised refund via email, and we agreed on email that I would purchase a second copy with booksetc once refund came through. today I went to purchase the new copy to find that petty Booksetc do not accept payment from me anymore. What a horrible company - blocking customers they send faulty good to. AVOID

The book they shipped was in excellent condition. They delicately protected it. It was a wonderful experience

The efficiency of this book store is unmatched—I was thrilled to find the latest book I had been pining for, swiftly delivered to my doorstep, allowing me to indulge in its captivating narrative without hesitation.

The product was two days late but when it came, it was in perfect condition and well wrapped up.

Excellent price; book ordered on Monday, arrived on Friday (by Yodel), nicely packaged; brand new, as described.

Recently ordered two books from Books Etc through Ebay totalling just under £35. The books were posted but were delivered somewhere other than my home address (photo supplied of parcels outside someone else's door), I supplied a photo of my front door and pointed out the error. I was completely ignored and neither Books Etc nor Ebay will supply me a refund. I've basically been ripped off. My advice is DO NOT order anything from Books Etc unless you're willing to risk having your item delivered to the wrong address and not getting any help from the seller. Whatever courier they use is sloppy and Books Etc themselves appear to be more interested in grabbing my money than trying to sort out the issue. I spend hundreds of pounds per annum on books but will never buy from these people again.

Absolutely appalling.

The quality of the books I purchased from this store exceeded my expectations. From the sturdy covers to the crisp pages, each book was a delight to hold and read. A true bibliophile's delight!

I placed an order that said it would dispatch within a few days. 2 weeks later having heard nothing, my order status was listed as "pending" and the item as unavailable. So I contacted them asking if they can't fulfill the order to just refund it. They replied that it should have been delivered and at this point gave me a tracking code. I said how I do not have the package. Why wasn't I updated when it dispatched? Why wasn't I given the tracking code at the start? Why was there no notification of a delivery? The complete lack of communication from Books Etc was the reason for the package having been lost. The ignorant reply from the woman ignored all my complaints and questions, she just included a photo of the package next to a plant pot from over a week ago and said, "Hope this helps." No, it doesn't. The package failed to rematerialise from your completely unhelpful response. It would never have been lost had you told me at any point throughout the order process any kind of order updates, especially the tracking number. Her photo also included a screenshot stating, "handed to resident". Do I look like a random plant pot? Terrible website order status, no communication or updates, ignorant totally useless online staff and I lost over £100 because of their complete failure. DO NOT USE BOOKS ETC!! The woman I had to deal with had either been told to completely ignore everything a customer says and use as few sentences as possible or she's just totally ignorant and useless at her job.

Ordered a relatively high value book on 13th June as a birthday present for 24th. Clearly stated in stock and delivery in 3-5 days. It also stated that I would be kept up to date and informed about despatch. When we hit 5 days I sent an email to ask for an update, this has been ignored. I am now left with no book and no way of communicating with this third rate company.

I guess one day I will receive some sort of rubbish update to tell me they had a system error and never had the book. Utter rubbish. Should not be allowed to trade like this. Definitely won't use again and will go back to the old faithful alternative. AVOID.

An awful first impression, I will not use again.

I ordered a book 2 weeks ago, a few in stock at the time but now there is none and doubled the price - I can't get it anywhere and they never despatched. They sold stock they didn't have or likely sold it on a different site for higher.

Emailed and they said:

"After looking into this for you I have found that we have had an unexpected problem in our warehouse with this item and have been awaiting further supplies. Unfortunately, our supplier has been unable to give us an availability date. As a result, we have had to cancel your order."

Thanks for nothing.

Nice selection of books at reasonable prices. Came well packaged. Will most likely use them again.

Always get my books from there .
Found them very helpful if i did have a query over dispatch & books are packaged so well unlike other on line retailers
