Fantastic product, great service and communication through the purchase process and an exceptional install. Absolutely brilliant and can’t fault them. The bollard we chose was a remote controlled one with red lights around the top. Brilliant and battery powered, so no need for cabling. The battery lasts 2 months with multiple uses daily. Really easy to remove and charge - couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the subsequent experience

Following our car being stolen in the driveway, we decided to gear up and install bollards.
They have been very reactive for the quote and very professional during the installation.
My only advice is, don't wait for your car to be stolen to get some bollards, and don't think it won't happen to you because you don't have a high-value car.

Spoke with Richard explained what I was hoping to achieve. I was asked to send photos of the road, and Richard called me back with the solution.
A week later they were fitted by two very polite and helpful guys.
The work was done to a very high standard.

Made an enquiry on the website, had a call back within an hour and my bollard fitted the next day! Fantastic service, fast and efficient. The lads fitted the bollard and showed me how to use it and also advice and tips on looking after it. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Great service from start to finish.

Turned up on time and finished when they said they would . Both chaps worked hard and gave advice on use and maintenence. Had 4x R5 anti ram fitted . Worth the extra for added security IMO. Would highly recommend this company .

I would like to thank Jake & Kenny who did an excellent job of fitting our 2 bollards. They expected the job to take 2 hours but due to the difficulty they encountered with the concrete ground mixed with rebar it took considerably longer. They did a professional job and I would recommend them to anyone.

Ordered on the Saturday. The install date scheduled for the following Wednesday. The install guys phoned on Tuesday and said they could fit me in that day if ok. They arrived on time worked hard and the whole thing took 45mins. They were pleasant and respectful. It’s great to see that good service at great prices is still alive. I shall spread the word. I cannot recommend Bollard Security enough for their service. Richard, the owner himself, was very helpful and provided great service in organising the installation of the bollards for my home. The guys that came to fit them from the company were also professional and efficient. Really happy with the bollards I got fitted for my home.

Bollard Security may be okay South of the Border, but I'm afraid any chance of coming North of the Border to carry out works are a non starter...!!
2 times I have been in contact with Bollard Security via WhatsApp and their webpage..
1st time I paid for the supply & installation of a driveway bollard at my premises...
I was given an installation date, which after several promises that the workers would be there, eventually never ever happened...
I cancelled contract and was returned my monies with no issue, plus, I was kindly given an additional payment for all the broken promises...
After several weeks past, I contacted Bollard Security again via WhatsApp & Email and enquired if there was ever the chance that there was enough work North of the border to allow a workforce to attend I would still be interested in having a "retractable" bollard installed..
I was informed by Richard that infact there was going to be a visit North of the Border the following Tuesday...
He told me that this time there was no need to pay upfront, just pay on day of installation...I received a purchase order and clicked on acceptance....
Great I thought, will just wait on confirmation of arrival...!!!
Needless to say, disappointedly this once again never happened...
Sent message back to Bollard Security via WhatsApp and their webpage....no communication back at all...
I do realise & understand that its not worth a company who are based in England to travel up to Scotland to fit one bollard...but I was advised that they did have enough work to travel North and I was happy to accept that...
Shouldn't be getting broken promises if there is never any intention of carrying out work...

****I will be editing the above review of Bollard Security after being contacted via WhatsApp by the owner of Bollard Security giving me reasons why there was 2 missed appointments for carrying out promised works...
I don't understand the reasoning for the first appointment not happening, but was given personal information as to the reason that the 2nd appointment didn't happen...
I have been given a verbal promise that the work will be carried out ASAP on our return home from holiday...Once the work carried out after a 3rd attempt I will have no hesitation in removing (or upgrading the above review) to a more satisfactory completion to all parties...
***From the very 1st order placed on the 5th June 2025 until now, the 18th August 2025.... I have have yet to see any sight of any bollard so much so, im beginning to wonder if company actually exists or is a figment of my imagination due to the non existent communications...
It makes me wonder if this is the hassle of just trying to have an initial order placed/completed, what would it be like in "after sales" if any repair work was required....?
Time to move on and look for more reliable supplier & installer North of the border..!!!!

Contacted Richard last week regarding installation of 4 main's powered bollards, the service we have received has been outstanding, the guy's that came to site were very professional and advised on the whole instalation process and gave a full induction on how everything operated, all completed within a week from our fist conversation.

Absolutely brilliant! innovative automatic fob controlled rise & fall stainless steel driveway bollard.No need for chassing in wiring and location of control panels due to rechargeable battery, amazing Tech. Experienced friendly, efficient install team.First class from start to finish. Well done Bollard Security.
