Bluebird Care - Newcastle & South Tyneside Anmeldelser 

I am new to Bluebird and the jury is still out. The person I spoke to said she would get back to me, she didn’t and tried to blame me. I had requested two visits, an hour long for both, starting at 4pm - 5pm. They came at 3.15pm as they couldn’t make the 4pm. No one rang me to tell of the change. They phoned the office and they confirmed it was supposed to be 4pm. Didn’t apologise at all. I was unprepared for the visit, I would have liked to tidy up and not have a cup of tea in front of me. The bluebird agent was lovely. I find the time inconvenient and am a little perturbed of how much Bluebird agents are paid. Also I still pay when on holiday? I will decide this week as I have 14 days cooling off period.

The booking process helped us to learn what might be needed and what was best for our mum's care as John talked us through the options and what he deemed was initially needed. John showed his experience and care with how he handled our situation in a calm and productive manner and checked in with us throughout the process. We really got to see why the rating for this organisation is outstanding with all they put in place, with the transparency and also with taking the extra weight off the shoulders of the family so that micromanagement from family members isnt needed meaning you can have more meaningful relationships with your loved ones. The onboard service was smooth and respectful of my Mother and what she needs. The carers have been proactive in making changes for the better to help. If there have been any amendments to care they have informed me and my Mother. The carers are approachable and provide the calm that is needed, giving me piece of mind.

Bluebird care employ staff who really care and make a great effort to get to know their clients. Very punctual and provide a good level of service and feedback on their patients.

Was very impressed with the website for Bluebird Care and the CQC rating of Outstanding which is what made me contact them initially. I can only say they actually exceeded my expectations. All the staff I have spoken to are so helpful and understanding and a meeting was set up within days of my first phone call. I met with Helen and Raz who are amazing ladies and they explained the services they could offer my elderly Aunt. Their interaction with my Aunt was amazing to see and she took to them right away - they know exactly how to talk to her and made her feel very comfortable. They are very professional but friendly and the interaction with her, whilst recognising her dementia, was so respectful. My Aunt felt she had made new friends within minutes of meeting them and her transition into accepting support was made so easy. Within three days of this meeting, support was in place. Although at the moment the support involves making sure my Aunt is eating every day, they do offer so much more and plans are in place for days out to places that hold good memories for my Aunt. Can't thank them enough. The administration side was effortless, and all the paperwork etc. was easy to sort. (I live a four hour drive away but it could all done electronically.) Although the service has only been in place for 6 days, I can honestly say there is a difference in my Aunt - she is much more chatty and just that little bit of friendship and company has, I think, given her a little lift.
Can only say that our experience of Bluebird Care Tyneside is amazing and I am so glad that I contacted them - couldn't have done better. I would definitely recommend them.

I’m so impressed with this company and the level of care and kindness they show my parents.The carers are all professional, friendly and really care.They go above and beyond to look after my folks and most importantly to me my parents like them and look forward to them coming.
The management team are excellent too,from my first enquiry which was dealt with really swiftly,to setting up the care that was needed,everything has been so easy.
Not only that but any contact with the office is a pleasure - the staff are always friendly and warm and queries have been dealt with efficiently.
My parents care manager is in frequent contact to see how things are going and has visited them a couple of times already ( its only been a month ) for reviews .She was so kind on her recent visit when my mother was a bit upset and stayed with her to settle her.
My parents have had care previously from a different provider and that didn’t work out,I really wish we had use Bluebird from the outset - they are the best.

Great support from mangers to carers and great training .

Excellent recruitment process. The owner has good core values and it is reflected in the staff.
A very approachable and friendly working environment that ensures the customer is at the heart of everything and staff are recognised for their good work ethics

Had full induction training which was really informative but a very relaxed atmosphere
Great trainers and staff were accommodating and friendly probably one of the best training courses to learn from …relaxed and positive vibes yet informative and educational as should be

From my first day of induction with Vicky everyone I have met and worked with at bluebird care have all been lovely and very welcoming, Vicky is a fantastic teacher and I really enjoyed the 4 days training with her. I have never done home based care until I joined bluebird and I really feel like I’ve found the job that I am meant to be doing, although working EOL can be challenging I have had nothing but positive experiences with all my customers their families and all the carers I have worked with but particularly Zara she has been a huge support for me and we work together like we have done for years.

From interview to induction training everything was great very welcoming company easy to address concerns to felt very welcome
