Hi, I normally don’t leave reviews, but I really had to after all the great support they gave me.

First of all, I had issues with DDoS attacks on a dying game that I host. Bloom immediately took action and assigned one of their team members to my ticket, who created a filter specifically for my game within 12 hours, which blew me away. No one else wanted to create a filter since the game is dying. We did experience a few small DDoS-related issues afterward, but they were resolved immediately as soon as I reported them.

The support they provide is easily 11/10. Other businesses could learn a lot from them. The services are great too, and their servers run perfectly. It’s insanely affordable for what they offer, so I will stay here until I no longer need a host.

I figured it was time for a detailed review after migrating away from Bloom. Overall, it's a good hosting company. There's a reason why they are trusted in communities such as Admincraft (133K members) and they are at the top of the game. I purchased a managed server from them in September, 2023. Unfortunately, there were initial hiccups that delayed the launch of my server. Their node was either having networking issues or oversold, and I requested to be transferred to another node on September 24th, 2023. Luckily, my request was handled within a day or two and I was up and running.
We ran our network without issues for about 9 months or so. The price was pretty high; $36 a month for 16GB of RAM on a Ryzen 5950X. Pretty good CPU, but certainly not the cheapest in the game. As our needs to expand arose, the next available plan was almost double the price, and at that point renting a dedicated machine is the smartest option, so we began planning to migrate away.
Then, during the month of May, 2024, significant downtime, random maintenance, and packet loss occurred. There were nights when the server was completely unplayable with users getting ping spikes up to 16,000, and time outs were common. This happened for around a week before we cancelled our plan with Bloom. I would also like to point out that during one of these maintenance events, the only notice I received was a message in their "Duck panel" that I could only see if I actively was logged in to the panel. There was no ping in Discord, email, or anything of the like. I hope they provide more notice to customers in the future when maintenance occurs, as it is rather disruptive.
I understand networking issues are common in the industry and cannot always be mitigated, but I felt this could definitely be better. Other users I have talked to in this space are still experiencing these issues with Bloom to this day.
On the bright side, these issues seem to be mostly few and far between. 80% of our experience with Bloom has been great, hence the 4 star review. I would also like to thank their social media manager for making a video and short about our server a few months back. That guy rocks and you should pay him to make more videos.

The server was easy to set up with the FAQ section and Geri in technical support answered every question I had seamlessly! The UI is great to work with and my confidence is pretty high in Bloom if they have others like Geri behind the scenes supporting us customers.

I had someone named Matt help me with my questions & concerns. He was very efficient, fast, friendly, polite and overall very knowledgeable.

This host is nothing short of perfect, with such low prices for whats given I adore this host. I have been looking for a minecraft sever forever now, and I think I've finally found it. For just $20 a month I can host up to 7 people on a sever at once without any lag, a heavily modded minecraft sever might I add. Plus the support teams are just amazing, im so glad I stumbled across this and didn't go for the far most expensive options I've been seeing, I highly recommend giving this host a try.

Never had a single problem throughout the server's purchase, and the support is very active.

So been with Bloomhost for almost 2 months now. We ran into a fairly severe minecraft mod issue over the past few days (issues with the mods themselves to be precise) that ended up resulting in thousands of entities being created and loaded while we worked out a fix.

The server handled it... without issue. It didn't care. Which is kinda wild because with our previous server provider the server would start having noticeable performance hits with less than 1,000 entities.

I am incredibly pleased with the decision to switch providers and appreciate how well their servers handled the issue while we fixed it.

Nice Host, Beast Performance!.

Had an issue with a Minecraft server's Java Version and instantly got help on how to solve my issue.

I even got offered to force a new Java Image onto the server to allow my issue to be fixed without me having to do any extra work, but 10/10, Support!

I had a incredibly great experience with bloom and I plan on buying again because of how good the staff are! They were so patient with me when I needed help and guided me with all my server issues and even helped me with a issue the modpack had. I 100% recommend bloom.

Precarious anti-DOS protection, it does not have the minimum capabilities to mitigate a DDO attack, the team provides good support, but there is a lack of knowledge when we talk about anti-DOS.

I am left to be very satisfied with my support ticket being answered practically instantly in non business hours. I commend Artic the Technical Manager for his professionalism and his ability to efficiently communicate a solution.

As a summary, there seems to be a big difference in the quality management from which Bloom Host definitely stands out among the best.

This host is amazing, all my problems even ones that they shouldn’t have to help with get answered immediately. The community is great the plans are extremely good. You will find yourself in the support section one way or another, there support is so great to the point were I, myself wanted to tip clumsy for the amazing support. It would be very beneficial for you to switch to this host, they host Minecraft servers, rust, discord bots, and many more!

I've been a customer of Bloomhost for ~2-3 years and they have provided exceptional service at every turn. The hardware is excellent for its pricing and the GUI of DuckPanel is a joy to work with compared to others. Customer service is timely and top-notch! I'd recommend them to anybody in a heartbeat.

Bloom has been amazing to us while we have used it.

At the end of 2022/ start of 2023, we swapped owners and plans, we ran into a small error a bit into the year and the administration team was straight at it to help us. It took little to no time and was fixed, the team is always active and willing to help with any plugin-based errors and all!

Bloom even comes with a full set of documentation that I can use to check all my errors and configs to ensure I have set up everything absolutely perfectly. With guides to their panel AND configs!

After over a year of using Bloom, I can confidently say we scored amazingly on this host and anyone else would be a sucker to pass it up!

I've been hosting my servers on a small and nice company for a very long time, but I just missed a bit of support and features so when I saw all those positive reviews of bloom I decided to switch to this host! I originally bought a 12GB Performance Minecraft plan to host 3 servers: 1 proxy and 2 sub-servers thanks to their super useful server split feature. The main sub-server was 7GB and we also had a build server for our team with 4GB, but I then I checked the RAM it actually used and I was shocked... It was super low, but the server ran super smoothly! To my experience you always need at least 3 - 4GB to host modern Minecraft versions but here a server can even survive easily with only 2 - 3GB! I still do not suggest to use a low amount of ram for your servers, but we only use this for our test and build server which aren't public. When I bought the server(s) there was one small problem where the servers didn't start correctly so I contacted support, expecting to wait maybe a few hours but they responded and fixed the issue immediately.

So my conclusion: if you are still searching for a high quality host, this will be one of your best options!
