How to avoid paying IMPORT DUTY
BISCOTTO Stones International (Norway) should ship stones from an EU country (for example, Denmark or Sweden) if the customer's country is a member of the EU. As far as I know, the stones are made in the EU (Italy). In this way, the buyer would save some money because he would not have to pay import duties.

There should not be an import duty on Biscotto stones. There might’ve be a VAT (Value Added Tax), and that varies from country to country.
Incredible service, super fast shipping
Ordered mine on a Wednesday, received it securely packaged in Philadelphia the following Wednesday. I can't complain about an overseas shipment within 5 business days!

I had some questions regarding the stones and got a really fast response. Ordered a round stone for my Ooni and got the stone 2 days later!!
Was this the cheapest stone and shipping on the market - absolutely not. Was the quality, shipping and service perfect - yes!!

As I explained in the email I sent you earlier, all Biscotto stones are hand made, and can vary some is size. This is also stated on the product side together with instructions on what must be done before using the stone.
Just use some fine sandpaper to even the sides on the wings, and it will fit beautifully.
Yes you need to season/cure the stone before you can use it.

Easy to find stone for my Karu 16 oven…
Easy to find stone for my Karu 16 oven through website. It was good timing since they also listed % off code right on their site before year end. Shipping was decent coming out of Norway all the way to Wisconsin in about a week over holiday season. Product seems to be great handmade quality and easy process to final cure it in pizza oven.
