No doubt this is an excellent for the employers but not great for the employees. The travelling time wasn’t calculated on a ‘live’ basic or not even according to Google map. It is cut short substantially and part of the actual travelling time part has been translated into ‘waiting time’ which was not paid for. Most carers are on minimum wages already. We all have to work extra hours after waiting time was introduced. This is obviously an advantage for the employer so they can pay us less.

The Birdie Team were always on hand to assist with any queries we had (have), and followed up with regular post-live meetings to ensure we had ongoing support after the transfer.
