Bimble Solar Limited Anmeldelser

Excellent service, ordered day 1, delivered day 2.
All installed and working as it should.
Many thanks

EXPENSIVE & VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Spoken to someone called HUW ("Senior Technical") for a whole day working out a quote for a FULL off grid set up. I had only a week to do this before going back out to Europe. After quoting me above average prices (all their suff can be found cheaper else where and there are plenty of other businesses looking for repeat business) I was whiling to just get it as I was on a short time window but only to be let down at the end of the day (ON A FRIDAY) and by email and no phone call.
They were the closest to me but I much rather go else where and be sure to have the suff I need and not be let down.
Me and my friends were very disappointed by this and we are not going to bother with Bimblesolar. As I've said, there are plenty of others selling the same at cheaper prices and much better customer service.
I am only giving one star as there is no option for NO STARS.

Have used Bimble Solar a couple of times now and have found them to be fantastic both times. Pre sales support was excellent and a big thank you goes to Laura, for listening to my needs, discussing relevant options and helping me to understand not only what it was I needed to buy but why. We needed to make a bespoke kit for my narrowboat and now I'm pulling in the power in December. Delivery was efficient and secure and after sales was there when I needed it. They are a great company who I will always support and recommend to others. Thanks Bimble, for always being brilliant.

very bad service I received a fake panel not working correctly refused to refund me will need to take legal action bimblesolar is a fake company with no customer
repeat I will never use them ever again

Very strange company.

They wont talk on the telephone ?
Only emails 🤔

I understand time is money but surely if you won’t chat to a potential customer and help them with what they need that’s not very customer friendly.

It seems to me if you know what you want and you are in the Solar trade they want that type of business ?
But if you are just a normal customer they won’t talk to you ?
Received an email back stating all the things they need to know and they can’t advise without this information etc, etc, etc, so need to do all this by email ?
Would have just been quicker to speak to me 😂
Very Strange Indeed ?

It’s a shame when small companies get above themselves and start acting like big companies, where they think they are more important than the customers ? Or should I say lost customers 🤔

Their website says it all ?

“ We are to busy to serve drop in customers “😟

So won’t talk on the phone, and we are to busy to serve drop in customers ?

Sounds like they have to much business and can’t cope or don’t want new customers ?

Rung up a couple of other Solar companies and was able to speak to someone who helped me with what I’m after with no problem. Placed the order and my items are on its way ?

It’s taken you over 1 year to comment on my experience 😂
You must be busy 😂

Poor customer relations. I placed an order for batteries on the weekend and the order was cancelled on the Monday with no communication from them at all. This was weird as they seemed to have lots of them in stock. Considering the research and price hunting time spent I thought they would have at least appologised for the inconvenience they caused me. I took my £1200 elsewhere and purchased my batteries. Loosing a £1200 sale shows me they have no business sense.

Absolutly amazing service. I spoke to a lovely sales woman called Laura. She asked my needs and within 10 minutes had created me a shopping cart with every item I would have needed. Sent streight to my email and ready for me to purchase. Brilliant customer service, absolutly amazing staff (both Laura and the warehouse staff). I could not recommend Bimble Solar enough! Cheers! :)

I needed advice, and two solar panels. I phoned, got through on the first attempt, spoke to someone who understood my needs and confirmed my purchase choice. I ordered two panels at 12:05, by 12:24 the next day I had my goods. No hesitation to recommend this supplier.

I had absolutely no knowledge of solar power or campervan electrics when I went to Grant at Bimble Solar seeking advice for the best set up for our 2007 T5 transporter.
Nothing was too much trouble for Grant as he sent countless emails to me over a number of weeks, ensuring I was completely happy with the system he had specified before ordering. Grant also put me in touch with a local installer in Brighton, who did a fantastic job installing our system for a great cost.
I would absolutely recommend Bimble to anyone looking to buy a solar system for their campervan or motorhome.

We ordered a complete set up for our camper conversion form Bimble. Grant helped us with the products that we needed, and helped me with the overall instructions on how to fit and wire in. I have drove him mad with questions, and he has replied quickly and very helpful, even throwing in a FOC breaker that I forgot to order. I would 100% recommend them, and would 100% use this company in the future. 5 stars is not enough.

Placed my order on Friday 30th April, 24 hours and 13 minutes later my order is sat on the table in front of me! Absolutely delighted with the service. Thank you.
The DPD chap who delivered was brilliant, He delivered the parcel then spent ages playing with my dog. The dog was devastated when he left.

I was unfortunate enough to have the experience of purchasing from Bimble Solar. They refused to answer questions on the phone and ignored email queries about an order, dispatching the wrong items at an extortionate shipping price as a result. The email replies that I eventually got (one email exchange per day max), were rude and unhelpful, basically to the tune of 'it's too late now, not our problem'. Will never use this company again and would recommend anyone to use one of the many alternatives available. After this experience I researched Bimble's reviews on Google and ebay and saw that this isn't unusual for them, wish I'd looked properly beforehand.

Further response to lies by the companies owner below: the shipping problem is down to an error in Bimble Solar's system overcharging customers. Every single courier I checked quotes significantly less for delivery than charged including their choice of DPD. Refusing to fix this problem when highlighted is a money grab and simply amounts to theft as far as I'm concerned. Regardless, the correspondence I had with them was rude and short (as described) and they refused to speak on the phone advising to 'just email' and hanging up. This resulted in unwanted items being dispatched before the problem was resolved as they ignored email queries. It's also shocking that the company director thinks it's acceptable to publish personal private information of customers in a public online setting in response to a negative review.

I at no time threatened to leave a bad review or demanded money back. As you can see from the personal email posted, I was reasonable. Obviously, Mr Atkins has no qualms about posting emails publicly and would likely copy and paste any demand or threat if there ever was one, but of course there was not. A man and a company with no morals.

I've left two negative online reviews in my life, only as a result of particularly injust or poor experiences that I've felt should be shared to warn others. Interestingly enough, it seems as if Bimble Solar have opted out of open public reviews on Google and Facebook.

Good company and great prices, helped me work out what i needed and the best products for the budget i was working on and super helpful people not just looking to see you stuff!

super friendly and helpful people offering good price equipment but also top advice and support for free, when starting out give them an email and they will explain every thing

Excellent at every step of the way.

I ordered 4x 150 watt flexible solar panels from them plus an MPPT charge controller and various wire bits etc to set it up, all for a motorhome off grid set up.

The panels were the best value I could find on the internet. Their website's suggested bundles were helpful for getting what I needed. They didn't stock the exact MPPT I wanted but found it for me and provided it at a competitive price.

Deliveries were extremely prompt. One of the panels was defective and they arranged a hassle free pick up and replacement without complaint.

They answered questions both pre and post sale including patiently helping with quite complicated stuff and trying to problem solve things, including some long technical phone conversations before I'd bought anything.

The panels I have received are capable of more than 100% of their rated wattage output, in ideal conditions including angling them correctly towards the sun!

Just a great experience all round.

I wanted a complete solar system including batteries and inverter for my van conversion. After pricing up everything individually from a million different companies, and comparing also the packages from 4 other places, I went with Bimble for their off-grid rigid panel 325W kit and I am glad I did. They answered my questions promptly and reassuringly, with detailed advice, and the items all arrived much more quickly than I had expected under current circumstances. I have a lot of confidence in this company.

After an email conversation with Grant at Bimble I bought 3x 100W panels and all the associated mounts connectors and cabling for a little over £300, everything arrived rapidly and in good order and is now on top of my Van making lots of free 'leccy 8^)

They advised me on a few things with back an fourth emails and designed my solar system.

I laid out every item that was used in the system and what I intended to use for my solar system.

Get the kit. Pretty good delivery times considering covid.

Everything I ordered was fine except the charge controller. I was getting issues charging my Lifepo4 battery bank. After hours of googling I finally decided it was not fit for purpose and kindly asked if I could exchange it for a victron MPPT.

They have offered me credit to purchase a vitron which I will accept.

Very fast and efficient service from Grant. Very much appreciated, thank you.
Highly recommend Bimblesolar, brilliant.

Excellent and prompt service, little dull communication but nothing negative, I happily recommend them to anybody looking for solar/battery and I will definitely chose them again :D
