Darren is an excellent instructor and made me feel so at ease! His method was really straightforward and built up my confidence so quickly. By the end of the session I was cycling on the bike lanes next to cars! I really surprised myself and Darren was so supportive throughout the whole session. I highly, highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn or improve their confidence! Thank you so much Darren!

Darren is an incredible cycling instructor! Thanks to his patience, clear guidance, and constant encouragement, I went from not knowing how to ride a bike to confidently cycling on my own. He made the learning process fun, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher—highly recommended!

It was great -- in a very short period of time, Darren was able to get our son riding independently. He's now riding with confidence and won't get off his bike. :)

Excellent supportive coaching that gave me confidence, identified my weak spots, and gave me tips and techniques to resolve them. I hadn't cycled for decades, but was confident enough to be on a (quiet) road by the end of our session. Can't recommend highly enough.

From my first enquiry to actually booking the 3×45mins sessions bike happy were polite and informative but then it got better.. from the 1st minute off the first session..Darren built up a repoir with my granddaughter( 6yrs old) which immediately took away our fears and anxiety and by the end off the first session. she was not riding (which wasn't the aim).but more importantly she was beaming with confidence and looking forward to her next lesson...hence to say by the end off the third session louise from none cyclist was now whizzing around 😉
I wouldn't say the course is cheap but definitely worth every penny

This was money well spent, with excellent teaching, and really warm encouragement. The whole thing has been so well thought through and I only regret not doing it sooner. Thanks to Darren for his patience and support, I cycled through Regent’s Park- something I never ever thought I’d manage in my wildest dreams!

Had a great afternoon with Daren and learned a number of things to explain my “wobble” and thus cycle much better in future.

Darren was a brilliant patient trainer. He gave me the confidence and great tips on how to balance. Plus lots of information on which bicycles are the best for me while I am still in my ‘green’ cyclist phase. So glad that I learned with Bike Happy and would highly recommend them.

Absolutely amazing experience! I highly recommend Darren and Bike Happy for anyone looking to learn or improve their cycling skills. I choose the Olympic Park which was the perfect place - quiet, lots of space and relatively few people. Darren was very knowledgable, kind and patient - a great coach! A+

Darren was very friendly, kind and funny with my kid. My son loved him.
My son learned in the three days time and we had amazing experience. Now he can do balance, steer and kick off by himself.

But he still needs more practice to learn better steering and control slopes. And to maintain longer distances.

Great cycling lesson. Darren was brilliant in providing knowledge, advice, encouragement and also demonstrating what to do. I definitely feel inspired and safe to do more cycling.

Can't recommend Darren highly enough - today I've gone from hardly ever being on a bike to feeling like I can hop on a bike anytime and get from A to B. Genuinely gutted I didn't do this earlier! Darren is an incredibly patient, positive teacher whose passion for helping people experience the joys of bike riding shines through. Over 2.5 hours he got me from knowing nothing to riding with confidence without stress or any trouble.

If you're debating whether to take the plunge and learn to ride with Bikehappy, you absolutely have to. I'm 37 and thought I would never learn - but all it took was a morning with Darren. Thanks so much!

Darren was absolutely incredible! What a teacher! Very patient, encouraging and just an absolute pleasure to be taught by. Could not recommend Darren enough, I really enjoyed the lesson.

I did a session with Darren about 5 weeks ago. Prior to that I barely knew how to ride a bike properly and couldn’t turn around corners. I couldn’t even cycle on roads due to nerves. But I’m pleased to say that I managed to cycle 55 miles from London to Brighton yesterday on a pretty decent road bike (Merida) and Darren’s session and advice helped me a huge amount. I’m now looking for my next ride and very confident on hitting the roads. Thanks Darren for everything and hope to bump into you on the road somewhere
