 i’ll be waiting for my package now, of bigideadesign for nearly 5 weeks, it has just turned up today, and Royal Mail has advised me that there is a £50 charge for this knife after I’ve just paid £200 for it. Big big idea design doesn’t tell you this, and so you’ll deny from the false pretences without giving you all the correct information. Overall, the knife is a very good quality knife, but the company is very unprofessional. If you don’t mind waiting five weeks for your knife and paying Royal Mail a £50 charge to release your package, I guess it’s a very good knife, but I’ve emailed bigideadesign now on several occasions to request a partial refund for the £48 that I’ve had to pay to get my package released, as they did not tell me this information prior to buying the item I just want people to know that if they buy a knife of bigideadesign and it’s coming to England, there will be an extra £50 charge to pay to Royal Mail, but big idea design does not tell you this, so overall I wouldn’t recommend this product to anybody due to the increased cost  plus, I have emailed bigidealdesign several times to ask about a partial refund, and they have completely ignored my emails

Great watch at a great price!

Base Line Bolt Action Pen backed on Kickstarter. Been using it for almost two years (excellent pen, by the way), and the pocket clip bit snapped. Sent them an email, and Tyler got a clip sent here to the UK within a week. Screwed it on, and it's good to go!

Man, these guys' customer service is impeccable. I had a pen from over 10 years ago that finally broke. First they sent me out replacement parts, free of charge. When that failed to get the pen going again, they offered me $100 site credit. Tyler was awesome and a pleasure to deal with. My new pen arrived today and I f***in' love it!

Update:

Big Idea Design reached out and replaced the order, so all's well that ends well.

Noteworthy: Issues are a possibility for all retailers, carriers, and payment methods (all online shoppers are well aware of this); the important thing is that problems are rectified and made right — which BigIdeaDesign did.

The first order arrived damaged.

I didn't expect to hear from anyone since BigiDesign (Big Idea Design) doesn't offer online chat or phone support.

Surprisingly, I received an email with a link for a printable return shipping label, and the representative initiated a refund.

Before placing a second order for the same item, I requested that it be inspected before shipment to ensure it wasn't damaged, as the first one was.

The tracking details for the second order were incomplete, and I was notified that the order was "undeliverable" and "returned-to-sender." USPS informed me that the address on the label was incorrect (eg street, suite number, city, and zip code weren't mine).

I attempted to contact customer support at BigiDesign for several days and received a response after one week. The second order was returned to the sender via USPS, but unlike the first issue, the second order presented a challenge.

I haven't figured out why e-commerce online retailers who are official Shopify merchants all seem less than optimal, but in my experience, that is often the case.
