We are stilll here in a very beautiful place
Much prettier then pictures show.
Wish there wash a broom and mop . But Thankyou for the beautiful place and excellent service

The cabin was not clean when we arrived, the heating is not working in the bathroom, there was no stoper for the bathtub, we complained and we were sent a stopper which does fit the size of the drainage hole, the hot water was very limited and we had to wait one hour before two showers, there is not enough light in the living room and it is very dark, in the bedroom there is a lamp near the bed but no connector!!!

The Cabin was great, clean with nice view and very confy furnitures, big kitchen.

The process to get the keys was delay by 1 hr and that is not good.

We enjoy a lot the stay

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing stay with Big Bear Vacations. The cabin we had rented was older, which we found some charm to. However, the cabin was not maintained whatsoever. There was mold in both the shower and the refrigerator. The refrigerator door had broken parts all over. There was ants all over the kitchen. A couple of the windows would not lock. These are the things off the top of my head, but we did have an extensive list.
Now, when we went to check out and let the staff know about our disappointment, they were super friendly and kept telling us that they would "make it right". They instructed us to complete the survey, listing all the things that we had let them know about and ensured us that we would be contacted by management soon to "make things right".
My husband & I own our own business, so we understand if something is less than satisfactory we always want the chance to fix it....that being said we were patient in waiting for someone to contact us.
That never happened.
Considering all the rules we had to sign off on, we expected that this place would be much better maintained and clean.
It is very disappointing, we travel to Big Bear many times throughout the year and we no longer feel like we can use Big Bear Vacations as a reliable rental source.

Take your trash with you in the car when you live??

People go there with full trunk of snow gear, suitcases, baby stuff, and you supposed to take the trash woth you?!!!!
And extra sheets just lying there in a trash bag near fireplace?? I thought that is trash left by someone else.
Horrible!
One heater in the living room , you suppose to sleep with the bedrooms door open , and with the bathroom door open so you can heat the hole cottage.
Toilet in the bedroom.
No no no!!
Disappointed!
Never again with this company.

This was an adequate experience all of the necessities were in place but at minimum standards. The cabin needs to be seriously updated, the couch loveseat appliances TVs all from the early 80s and did not give off the appearance of being clean. The only thing that made this trip enjoyable was the beautiful woman that I brought with me and her unique outlook on this room as in having character

Beautiful home. We had a lot of fun here. Even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay. We were surprised with how scaresly supplied it was. There were no trash bags, only one dishwasher pod for 3 days, no paper towels, barely enough toilet paper. And they gave us the wrong key for the jacuzzi. It took so long to get the correct key. We had to call several times.

We have been using Big Bear Vacations for years. We tried other rental services in Big Bear but this is the best. Great selection of cabins, good website, nice people, etc. etc.

1st time to big bear with the family on a vacation stay, kids loved it so did my wife. Everything about the place we rented was absolutely amazing we felt at home and the kids had a lot of fun.

Not as clean as it should be, nothing but hand soap in the bathroom, back door handle was loose. For the price I would expect more

The cabin was adorable and well equipped. Our stay was way too brief but we had all the tools for breakfast and relaxing. I definitely want to say the staff was amazing. They were super accommodating. We hit traffic and they waited for us to check in. They also had tons of recommendations and were just so nice!! That alone makes want to rent from this company again very soon.

Very nice cozy place. It was supposed to have a fenced backyard but because of a stream that runs through the property, the fence was pushed back in one spot which allowed our dogs to leave the property if you weren't watching them.

The house near the lake has been recently redone. Great job and extremely comfortable with new paint and trim colors that were keyed to match the whole house. New carpeting and flooring nicely matched to color scheme. New lighting that actually lights what needs to be seen

Great place for large families with teens with two centers for large Television and streaming and large couches for each space.

Needs lamps lamps lamps to make more homelike.

P.S The kitchen is the best I've seen in years of renting

The property was exactly as it was described. Very clean, neat and comfortable. We will be looking into the availability of this cabin for our next trip to big bear.

Big Bear Vacations is very professional and friendly. Second time I have rented a property from them. Both stays were great and will use them again in the future. Last time they even hooked my son up with a free snowboard rental!

the pictures doesn't match the outside of the "cabin". It is like a motel. also, the map neither does not match, the lake is like 4 blocks far, you can't see it like the pictures. The heater make a loud noise.

The cabin itself was nice & spacious. Apparently we were the first renters of the season and no one from the company went out to clean, dust or vacuum before our arrival. It was full of cobwebs and it was musty. There wasn’t hand soap in the bathrooms either.

The pictures of the lakefront home we rented were not up to date. We stayed in the same home 5 years ago when the water was up to the deck of the house. This time it was at least 150 years receded from the deck. more like lake view rather than lakefront. False advertising. Simply update the pictures so people know what they are getting!
