It was a short journey but they arranged it nicely and organized my trip well.
We did a 5-day trip with them.

I planed my holiday with Beyond Escapes. I booked all the hotels with them. All the hotels are 5 star level. Very talented professionals with dedicated staff. Always willing to help. I had a wonderful experience in Sri Lanka. Recommend to have their service!!!

Had a really great experience with Beyond Escapes. Super quick to respond and very helpful the whole way through. They found me some great options at really good prices, which made everything so much easier.
Everything was handled smoothly and stress-free. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for someone reliable and easy to deal with!

We booked in good faith from the facilities as stated, the pictures, and proximity to Yala Reserve. NOTHING was as advertised.

The most disturbing event, was the full-day safari. Advertised with a guide: no guide just a driver as mentioned by many people. Our sister jeep got truly stuck up to its axles in soft mud...not their fault, BUT WHAT IS THEIR FAULT is neither Jeep had a towrope, shovels or any other means of escape & that Jeep had completely bald/smooth tyres. An accident waiting to happen. Our driver after many failed attempts to push it out, then drove with us, to the gate, the ticket office, to a nearby army camp & a farm asking for a towrope. We eventually found some rope around an old tree stump. For the very wet conditions they clearly have very little regard for guest safety. The family in that jeep were stuck in it for over two hours.

Other serious shortcomings (all evidenced with photos, video and sound recordings):
1. No wifi anywhere. Never has been
2. No swimming pool, just a filthy hole with months of algae growth.
3. We were never given a walkie-talkie & there are no phones anywhere, so every time we needed reception meant a long wet muddy walk to & from reception. In case of Emergency god knows!!
4. They have no drinks menu & so no prices displayed. This is illegal under Sri Lanka Law (CAA) You never knew what the food was until it was on the plate in front of you....cooked on a very decrepit very rusty BBQ
5. No staff ever visible, anywhere. Quite amazing. If you do encounter one and ask a question, don't expect to be any wiser.
6. On our second evening, after hours trying to rescue the other jeep/family, we really needed a beer when we returned.....yup, with just five people staying the night before they'd run out of beers. Zero forward planning. Several hours later it arrived after we'd all but finished dinner. Tip to Management: Bottled Beer is not a fast moving consumer item, it lasts months. Buy it in!
7. They have mangey diseased-looking dogs jumping up at table during meals and a large cat walks across the tables at mealtimes. It actually bit my partner the second evening.
8. Shower didn't work just a dribble from the space-age looking vertical shower, and the rose was badly clogged up.
9. After I'd booked on Booking.com they contacted me to ask me to cancel it with booking.com & rebook direct with them. Once done they requested full payment in advance. I refused as not necessary via booking.com, the other family were also contacted and sadly did pay in advance. I've contacted booking.com to advise they're being used as a free booking source. Not sure that will end well.
10. Reading their narrative, it's easy to think they're very close or even inside Yala Reserve, but it took us 1hour 20 to get there and 80 mins fast driving back. There are closer better places. Go there!
11. On the morning we left, I spent 3 hours talking with a supervisor, then the Manager, then some random person at HO in Colombo. After 3 hours they said 'OK, I have to pass this onto Management' So who had I wasted all morning with🤦🏻 Nobody anywhere in this cowboy outfit is allowed to make a decision

What makes me rate this THE WORST place I ever stayed was their response when after 3 hours getting nowhere I said I'll pay for the safari and the drinks (hey! Suddenly they knew drink prices) and only pay for one night accommodation.....at this point the HO person said 'If you don't pay full amount we'll call the cops' (Quote) I'll see if I can add that text to my photos. My response was ' please do, I'll enjoy showing them the very dubious/illegal business you run. I never heard again.....UNTIL!!! Wait for it...... they responded to my TripAdvisor review simply saying 'What happens in the Reserve is out of their control'. NO. What happened in the reserve was COMPLETELY WITHIN THEIR CONTROL. They were their vehicles. Equipped with no safety gear.

Be very very cautious booking this place.
Read TripAdvisor complaints rather than the compliments (most of which are first time reviewers....dodgy in itself) THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE THE ONES THAT ARE TRUTHFUL, then read the owner's responses. It's like he lives in an alternative Universe, andhonestly believes they never screw up & puts the blame on the guest🤣
