Bentley's supplied, delivered and erected a shed and a summerhouse for our garden.
A positive experience from day one.
All the team were friendly and professional with specialists brought in for different aspects of the summerhouse construction and finishing.

Had a garden shed built, great advice right from the start in terms of size and fit for the purpose. When finished I was surprised by how good it looked in the garden, better than I expected, solid and well done. Overall a high quality build and great service from the start. Would recommended.

Been using my new Pent shed/workshop for a few months now and I can’t fault Bentleys at all. Very friendly and efficient service right from the outset when we visited their site at Dobbies, Rothley. Their initial sales bod Dave was knowledgable of the options available and gave us good advice re sizing, layout, etc.. The 3D imaging system really brought our ideas to life so we could see exactly what we would be getting. We shopped around price wise but decided to go with Bentleys.
Delivery and installation were all done on schedule with what Dave had told us. The build quality seems very sturdy and robust. One or two minor snagging items were cleared up within a week of me reporting them.
Overall a very satisfied customer. I would buy again from Bentleys and would recommend considering them if you are looking for a solid, decent vfm shed workshop around Leicester.

Good quality shed but workmanship terrible!
More expensive than most but the quality of the shed was not matched by the workmanship of the company. Bentley's have a firm from Pontefract do the base installs and actually make, supply and erect the sheds.
The base install was poor: the end grains were untreated; one 'joist' was damaged as if hit with a sledgehammer; the same joist was left touching the cement around a pillar where water would pool. All that sets up early rot. The fitter lied when telling us there was a 10 year warranty - it's only 12 months.
The team who delivered and did the build refused to reposition their van when asked politely. Although we'd paid for painting of the shed, the endgrains of many pieces, especially the bits they cut on site, were not. The cutting onsite was poor quality and better described as hacked. Where they did dab on a bit of stain on these ends, the cutting was so poor, the paint couldn't really cover or sea.it.
Many screws they used fell out after a couple of months, having sheared off - presumably too much torque applied by power tools and then of course those holes have got broken screws in and can't be re-used.
The salesman at Bentley's was effusive about how helpful they would be - for example, attaching a water butt. The team left it unattached and said we could do that.
In short, a terrible experience! I wish we'd read more reviews. Trustpilot 2.3! For our next shed, we went to ReadyShed, near Coalville. Wow! They're more pleasant and a lot cheaper and better value!

Ten or more years ago l ordered a shed from Bentley’s who did not make it but ordered it to be built from my instructions. That shed still stand straight and solid today, so in March’25 l ordered another custom shed to protect a new mobility scooter from Bentleys who have relocated to the other side of the A6 Leicester to Loughborough road. That too was built by a third party who have worked hard to give it stability, but to say I am unhappy with the way it was thrown together by Bentleys staff is an understatement. I have been patient so far but have spoken to my credit card company who share the same financial responsibility if l decide to reject it. Like others l have been lied to and scammed so for now l just wish anyone interested in buying ANYTHING from that company or from its chief salesman to be very careful and look elsewhere. And… only pay by credit card, no cash, debit or cheque. During the next week l will decide which way to go with this as l do like the shed I am not bothered one bit about lawyers letters as l am well supported with same within my family. I will add to this as we go

I can't praise Bentleys highly enough for their consideration and professionalism in the purchase of our greenhouse. David Missen was really excellent throughout the process, especially with building the greenhouse himself on the Friday and even returning the following Sunday evening to fit 2 end caps that hadn't been sent.

Well Bentleys what can we say, we are so thrilled with our Garden Room we purchased from you, which was built in July 2023. Great advice from the Office Team, so helpful and knowledgeable. The workforce was second to none, so many thanks to Chris and Luke(initial build), Martin and Tim Electricians, Dean and George Plasterers, Luke for final finishes, Richard for the decorating. All highly professional, friendly and polite. So Bentleys we can't praise you enough for the excellent workmanship and very competitive price for our super room. Thank you Brian and Glen

We were really impressed with the quality of the sheds having visited the showroom. We spoke with Mason who was knowledgeable and really helpful.
They aren’t the cheapest but the quality and service is fantastic. The lads arrived in the snow at the time they said they would to assemble the shed. They worked in the snow and had the shed up within a couple of hours. It’s exactly what we wanted and amazing quality - I’d highly recommend them.

Bought a loverly summer house from Bentley. Really good quality products and good service too. Have spent many happy days chilling out with friends and family.

Ordered a Bentleys Garden room, currently being used as the most epic games room. So happy with it, I can use it all year round, it’s like having a room from my house but outside.
It’s also great when extra family come to stay on the holidays, doubles up as an extra room

Worst customer experience I've ever received. If I could give 0 I would. All Is well until you complain. We had a bentleys own garden building. Holes ,silicone wrong installation of roof meaning that roof warranty isn't covered. Argument after Argument even though we had all sufficient evidence to back us up. Still wasn't having Any of it. Very nasty attitude toward me from Tim throughout the complaint and Chris was so rude. Could never get to speak to owner to discuss the matter. After a huge phone argument with tim after expressing my customer rights we started to get somewhere and finally had a response via email from iain Bentley saying they would fix the roof. I then responded with agreement with the conditions that I would have the roof formerly inspected after. He then responded that they could not agree to that and refunded us after removal of building. On removing again Chris was rude and they left afterwards with no say out the garage we didn't even know they left but leaving us with long screws and pins all over my garden which they couldn't be bothered to pick up and tidy away. By 5pm 4 hours later still no refund ( 12k) so had to chase again with Tim which we had sarcy comments about. Finally we had the refund.
So shocked as never expected it would be like this from this local company. It was for my business which has now been greatly affected and stressful.

After waiting over 12 weeks for a Shed promised in 8 weeks, had a face to face blazing row with this company demanding my money back. Shockingly poor service and lie after lie. AVOID!!!

Great service and experience, so happy with my lugarde log cabin!

Love love my new summerhouse, waited an age for it but was worth the wait, it’s amazing, fully insulated, Painted to perfection, it’s great. My own little office away from the house, would recommend to anyone looking at buying one.

It saddens me to write a poor review as initially we were very happy with Bentleys Garden Buildings and looked at reviews before we bought from them. unfortunately we were left feeling disappointed. We ordered a small Lugarde cabin on 1st August. It was eventually delivered and installed by Bentleys on 31st December. A door was damaged and this was replaced a month later. Our main complaint is the poor exterior finish to the paint work which we paid an additional £700. Helpful feedback for Bentleys is that they need to improve their communication ( it was always us emailing for information or update), to advise customers that they will need to paint a Lugarde cabin themselves even if they pay for it to be painted, if a finish comparable to the publicity materials is to be achieved. In Bentleys favour, after we complained, Bentleys did deliver us a tin of paint and the men who installed the cabin were efficient and professional.

Really happy with the quality of my new shed. The guys who came out to build it were particularly accommodating and did a fantastic job. After sales were helpful and met my needs. Would use again. Thank you.

Fantastic shed, ordered a 14x8 workshop and I absolutely love it, made my own man cave in the garden.

Came around 16 week from when I ordered it and it was most definitely worth the wait.
