Poor Customer Service for a Very Simple Situation
I was looking to place two orders. I signed up for the marketing to receive the first time customer discount. They were also having a sale for 20% off stainless steel. I intended to place two separate orders to get 15% off one order and then 20% of the other. I accidentally placed the order for all three items. Since it's the weekend, I couldn't get help immediately. I called on Monday morning and the woman said they wouldn't be able to help because the first order couldn't be cancelled. She also said that I wouldn't be able to use the welcome discount since it wasn't my first order.
The discount was showing in my cart, so I placed the order so that she could see it was allowing me to use it. She then decided to call her supervisor, who both decided this was not worth helping bc when she came back she said that none of my orders could be cancelled and that I would have to return what I didn't want. EVEN THE ONE I PLACED ON THE PHONE?? I LITERALLY JUST PLACED IT. That doesn't check out.
All of this for literally $5.00, I even asked if she could just cancel the order it worked on, and just refund the $5.00 to my account. That is what the solution should have been from the beginning. Not to have to argue why I deserve a $5.00 discount.
If this is not rectified, I will absolutely return everything on principle alone bc this is ridiculous. Customer Service is not difficult.
You need a better team. I don't know if this is greed or incompetence.
