We have used Belmores on numerous occasions over the past 8 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough (wish there were more than 5 stars to give). From advice at the police station, in magistrates court and even up to Crown court we have been treated with respect, given first rate advice and been fully supported and guided through what can be a frightening and confusing process. Contrary to a negative review I have seen here, even though we have always been on legal-aid we still received what can only be called a first-class service, and the barrister at crown court was superb. We have had dealings with most members of the team, and they have all been courteous, knowledgable and supportive. I thank God that the duty solicitor at my son's first arrest was from Belmores and would recommend them to friends and family.

I contacted Belmores about an up and coming case I was involved with, everybody I spoke with was was extremely professional, I received a call from David the following day and received the advice I was looking to obtain. Would highly recommend Belmores to family and friends.

All smiles and positive attitudes, stating that they could win the case easy when first presented to them, even when they finally got the evidence, they said it was a easy case to win, but as soon as I handed in a legal aid form, attitude completely changed. They didn't want to know. The Barrister they supplied was useless, The judge questioned why the CPS had brought the case in the first place, and questioned the advice the defendant had been give, and it was the barrister for the CPS that actually suggested to the judge that it was embarrassing to have been selected to be the prosecuting barrister, and that the case wasn't in the public interest and in his opinion, insufficient evidence to win the case. Belmores advice "plead guilty for a quick turn around even if you feel you are innocent". Their selected defence barrister was more interested in arranging a golfing date with the representative of the CPS than defending the case. It was much like a scene from that classic Ian Carmichael film "Brothers in Law".

Only interested in money and quick turnarounds, not justice or truth.

I have sought advice from Dave Foulkes at Belmores twice. Super helpful, clear and very fast.

No diff, faff or caveats. Just clear simple advice. Both occasions were not to pursue a case and would not accept any payment.

Super rare on both accounts.

I also like they list their cell phone numbers. No reception/call back process. Just direct and personal.

They also came highly recommended by other solicitors for their specialism of court defence.

Highly recommended. And totally cannot understand the one star review here. See this as an outlier and look at the 4.9 on google - which is super rare and very hard to achieve.
