On checking our Mastercard payments we noticed the £39.99 with a further £29.99 taken from our account. Quick phone call to our bank and further payments are now blocked but we were made aware that money had been withdrawn in previous months. We are now contacting our provider to get refunded.

TOTAL SCAMMERS
I have had similar experiences with this Company, I scanned a QR code for a B&Q card and was requested to pay a £1 , which I did then realised this didn’t look right, so stopped.
But they had already got my information and sure enough a £1 transaction when through.
It was the next day I noticed a pending transaction for £39.99 from them.
Phoned the bank put a stop on any further payments to this company and had to cancel my card and new one issued 5 days later.
Then lo and behold they presented again, even had my NEW card details???? How on earth did this happen ?
Again I have spent time with the bank this morning, as this has already been paid they said I had to try and contact the company and cancel any SUBSCRIPTION with them first, tried ringing them 02081231193 but no answer,,, I’m seriously thinking about closing my bank account and opening a new one 🤬🤬🤬 what utter horrible people

Also scammed out of £39.99 after agreeing to pay £1 for something. Then they've tried twice to take £39.99 again.

I am being scammed by this company and have lost over £100 already has anyone got an email address for this company be Vod and be bebooks

Got a scam warning from my card provider, they had tried to charge me £39.99 ongoing. Payment cancelled and card stopped so no loss. Never heard of Bebooks and never ordered or received goods or services from them. It seems my card was piggybacked when I paid £1 to download an app at an electric chargjng point. Thought I had paid the
energy company.

Scammers. Piggybacked from a QR code for Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre photograph download. Charged £1 for registration. I've now discovered they used PYD*be-chef-club to also debit £39.99. A further transaction for £29.99 using Bebooks Space was in pending. Both these transactions have now bern refunded by my bank and blocked. Also had to cancel my card. Be aware that even when blocking Bebooks they can still access with PYD be chef until both are blocked and card cancelled.

Have been scammed by Books.space when trying to obtain parking ticket at Paignton railway station. No ticket issued by machine but had a £1 pending transaction in my Barclaycard account. When this went from pending to approved and checking this site, contacted Barclaycard who put a stop on this merchant. A further transaction of £39.99 appeared a day later, contacted Barclaycard again and was told the merchant had slightly changed their account details and a new block was applied. A few days later had a £29.99 transaction automatically blocked but had to contact Barclaycard again to resolve. Seems you need to keep a very close eye on transactions and hope bebooks.space eventually gets fed up!

Did anyone find an email or contact for Bebooks as I’ve just noticed 2 transactions for £39.99 from my account just now and my bank is saying I need to contact them first?

This company scammed me into signing in and paying £1 (when I thought I was paying to view my son's prom photos!) They then tried to take £39.99 from my account (luckily I had insufficient funds in the account), but have had to contact my bank to cancel a recurring payment.

Not good. They are in USA. Cancel subscription dose not work. Ended up emailing them

Same as everyone else - they piggy backed on from a QR code and took £1. I thought i was setting up my Texaco account. I contacted the bank immediately and tried to cancel my subscription but the link to unsubscribe - unsurprisingly - does not work. Be very careful when you scan a QR code

Scam. thought I was scanning the YouTube QR code for membership when I checked my bank account £1.00 been taken followed by £39.99 which I never agreed to, no emails from them nothing, be very careful people

Ha puesto una estrella que ni siqueira debería, porque he visto que esto, supuestamente, es una estafa. Me cargan un importe que en ningún momento yo he gestionado ni contratado intencionadamente, sino que han usado datos de mi tarjeta de crédito para producir un cargo por una suscripción que en ningún momento realizo. Voy a comunicar al Banco dicha circunstancia para que me devuelvan el importe de 39,99 €

This scam is horrid. I was setting up the Wetherspoons app when this company superimposed their website. Irealised my mistake when they took £1.00 . Cancelled my credit card immediately but as this seems to be a subscription it transferred to my new account. The bank picked up on this and have cancelled my new card. Hope they can stop these £39.99 payments.

Absolutely appalling that this company is piggy backing from QR codes.
Stealing card details and charging a £1 and then a few days later £39.99 stolen out of my account.
No contact from supposed company; no emails answered etc;

Did not login or try to buy anything, got scammed trying to buy a parking ticket, they linked in via the payment I was trying to make to JustPark and are trying to get money out of my bank account, I have reported them to my bank.
