I like this club, but the security staff are not prepared to fulfill their duties. Today we were informed that we could not enter the club because my friend was allegedly too drunk. Unfortunately, we hadn’t consumed any alcohol, but the security officer, without any testing, decided that my friend was drunk. I am disappointed with the attitude shown by the club staff, including the manager who was present during the entire conversation and did nothing about it. He said he couldn’t. People, be honest and tell the truth. You are not part of the elite clubs in Manchester, and we don’t need to come to your place. There are plenty of other interesting places in the city. However, when I pay for a reservation, I expect a bit of respect, not excuses to stroke the ego of a security officer.

MEN AVOID AT ALL COST

Whilst trying to have a nice night I witnessed a Caucasian lady being extremely rude and abusive to a black man by very loudly calling him “ a black monkey”.!

The Caucasian lady shoved the black guy extremely hard to a point the black guy had to hold on to her hand to regain his balance. The Caucasian lady then stood up aggressively and tried to slap him around the face which luckily he dodged and asked why and he was the bigger person and walked away. I believe this woman was looking for trouble. As the group of her friends she was with agreed she was very drunk and didn’t have control over what she was doing.

I HAVE SEEN MANY OF THESE TYPES OF SITUATIONS ON MANY NIGHTS OUT.

MEN ESPECIALLY BLACK MEN BE VERY AWARE OF THESE SITUATIONS AS THESE CAN BECOME VERY DANGEROUS AND HOSTILE QUICKLY.

STAFF SEEMED TO DO NOTHING WHILST THIS WAS HAPPENING BUT PROCEEDED TO KICK THE BLACK MAN OUT OVER NO REASON OTHER THAN HE WAS A MAN WHO HAPPENS TO ALSO BE A BLACK MAN.

This unfortunately happens far too much these days.

Went to the one in leeds last night and wow what a bar. The atmosphere in that place was top. Got our adrenaline going from the tunes and the bar staff dancing all over the bar. Need one of these bars in the northeast.

The one in BRIGHTON. I have been been RACIALLY PROFILED before. Absolutely pathetic. 5 people in
My party can attest this. Absolutely horrendous, early evening, they “claimed “ it was the fabric of my shorts!?! Literally ,no drama involved, absolutely atrocious, and hope someone has the footage as I would love to press charges on this

Faye was amazing on the bar very welcoming and very easy to talk too I really recommend her to every customer what a Joy !

We went to Be at one bar Convent garden. Wellington street ,this is one of the best cocktail bars ever , great drinks and fabulous energy and great staff I have been here a few times now it is a must when out in London !! A must if you like singing and joining in !! Thanks for an amazing night and make it fabulous again especially miming on bar fantastic entertainment

Great place for a celebration even take song requests for special occasions we went for a hen do any they played I think I want to marry you for the bride

Aww my god if you get Becky you are sorted, whatever your tastes are or preference with cocktails she will sort you out, best barmaid I've met and I'm irish so that's a big statement,

I was refused entry with very rude behaviour from security. I was alone and I went there for a drink and they told me that I could not enter because I was alone and I need to find a friend. I told them, then I will ask those people around me if I can enter with them and they pushed me saying "it doesn't work like that"! After 15 minutes I met with some people who were from my country and became friends. They wanted also to enter the bar. Again still we were refused entry while they accepted someone who was alone! They actually lied to me for not accepting me and behaved me bad!

Can't thank JD and Bailey enough for our cocktail making experience and night out in Bouremouth. Made my hen do so remarkable. Such a good night night !

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
this used to be my favourite place in Manchester, but now they have no toilets…. Well they do but it’s staff toilets and only 2 for the whole place and they are miles away. The queue is always a mile long and never any toilet paper. If you have a bladder made of steel and want good music, this is your place!

We went to Brighton be at one and had a strange night.
We are all middle aged and sensible, spent a large sum of money throughout the night and then refused another drink because the most sensible person among us knocked a drink over .bizarrely the person involved got on really well with the staff then all of a sudden she was public enemy no.1.
The friend we were with was responsible for a couple of tables buying more rounds due to creating a welcoming sociable atmosphere.
The staff were inconsistent and poor in their decision making.
please review cctv of incident as I would not spend this amount of money when juvenile staff have poor judgement and unreasonable in their behaviour. Spoiled the night and we will not return.
And to add we continually offered to buy drink to staff for each round as thanks so totally puzzled by staff behaviour.

We love be at one in general and always make sure we visit one where ever we are. Josh and Brad were amazing at Newcastle, great customer service sorted out an issue with our birthday bar tab and replaced drinks when they came off the tray.
They are a credit to Be At One.

Be at one Liverpool

Giving one star seems too generous for the customer service in there.
The woman claiming to be a manger refused to offer a drink prior to service being finished for the evening. Very relentlessly asking us to leave regardless of closing time because staff wanted to leave early due to it being st Patrick’s day.
Had two drinks taken off our table by a staff member before it was time to close even though we said they were still more than half full.
Never been spoken to so rudely, clearly there is no regard for customer service to paying customers.
Would definitely not recommend to anyone else.

If I could give a minus I would. 1 star seems too generous! Yesterday I attended the Hammersmith branch. I have to say I’m very disappointed. I have been here before but it was a while ago. With the videos that I have seen on tiktok the vibe the atmosphere I wanted to see if it was like that in all branches. Unfortunately not in this branch. It was DEAD. The music was awful the man that I spoke to that was actually controlling the music was very rude and made me feel like a burden. Normally its packed in there yesterday I was shocked for St Patrick's weekend on a Friday night there must of been about 20 people. There was people walking in hearing what was playing and walking straight back out. I honestly feel like I have wasted money and a night out. It was not what I thought it would be. Other branches they are lively chatty the sing with you they make the experience amazing. For me all the staff that I spoke to yesterday were very friendly apart from that one man that was controlling the music I dont know if he is a manager or not but if he is I think its time for a review Because you cant be talking or making people feel like burdens. Especially customers that come out to ‘try’ and have a good time.

Shout out to Dan on shift last night around 6pm in Leeds. I fell & badly gashed my head. He was great in contacting family and waited with me to deal with the injury until they arrived. Thanks so much, I know it wasn’t a pretty sight!

Dangerous threatening almost criminal security staff. Beware. Make sure your camera is on & report them to the Police if they harm you, racially profile or discriminate against you in any way. If not, a lawsuit will compensate you for their harm.

Dec 2022: Racist for sure Anyone NOT caucasian or white, save yourself some pain and headache. They are most definitely racist. Not worth it. I saw a similar reviews by someone else here as well.
