In my opinion, stay away from Tatiana Velez the person at Bath Fitter who sets up installations in my area. She should not be in customer service and has made my dealings with Bath Fitter rather unpleasant. It all started when she left me a voicemail asking me to call her back. Didn’t say why, what it was about, not even that she was calling about an installation. When I called her back within the hour around 3pm, she was already gone for the day and left no notes on my file. The next day when she returned my call, I told her that it would have been great if she could have given me some information in her voicemail like a reason why she was calling, or why bother leaving a message. I did not say this, but what would have been even better yet would have been when my bath would be ready and a range of dates of when we could install it, but that would be asking way too much. She told me I was rude and couldn’t continue this way. I wasn’t rude, I just wanted to express that if you are going to leave a voicemail, a little, or a lot, of information would be helpful. Well, she got offended, hung up and we never spoke again. Things did not get better from there regarding the installation process where she was concerned. I called James and specifically asked to deal with another installation person to set up the installation, but it would seem there was none a available as James the salesman had to step in to the process until Tatiana got back involved and then another issue came up and she wouldn’t, or didn’t return my email from Wednesday until I had to call James again on the following Monday Oct 6 to confirm everything. I have contacted her manager Jay Serrano and got the installation date and time confirmed and the we will look into it as a possible training exercise speech.
My salesman James Thompson has been great and has done what he could to help me, but he should not, and would not of had to, had Tatiana done her job, or just let my comment, or suggestion slide, it nope.
Regarding installation, Adam, my installer was excellent and all went well. Product was a little thinner than I thought it would be and I was told scratches easily, but let’s see how it holds up, especially since it is not cheap.
As an aside, Adam told me that I should not use my corner pole with shelves as the constant tension would cause the bathtub and walls to separate allowing water to get in. It would have been nice to learn this before my installation. When I asked James, he said no problem and that is why I only ordered one corner shelf. I hate getting conflicting information from two individuals at the same company.
James also did not tell me that I could not use the bath for at least 24 hours, which is not serious, but something I would tell customers, just so they know.
** Beware anyone considering Bath Fitter, Burnaby BC **
After entering into a contract with this company, I attempted to cancel and request the return of my $2,000 deposit. Under BC’s Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, consumers have the right to cancel within one year if key information is missing from a contract, or within 10 days of receiving a copy of the contract if it was not provided at signing. Both apply in my case. I did not receive a copy of the contract until the day I attempted to cancel!
Had I been made aware of Bath Fitter’s refund and cancellation policy at the time of signing, I likely would not have provided a deposit at all. Their failure to disclose this information not only denied me the opportunity to make an informed decision but also directly contravenes consumer protection standards in BC.
Despite this, Bath Fitter has refused to return my deposit. The manager of the local branch has never contacted me directly, instead delegating all communication to administrative coordinators, which I find unacceptable given the seriousness of the situation.
I have since escalated this to Bath Fitter’s head office and filed a formal complaint with Consumer Protection BC. Additionally, I have raised concerns about the validity of the contract itself, as both signatures on the document appear identical. I also never released my initials or provided permission to use them, yet they appear on the contract.
My experience with Bath Fitter has been dismissive, unprofessional and in clear disregard of consumer rights under BC law. I would strongly advise others to exercise caution before signing any agreement with this company.

Nice product, but the bottom of the bath unglued itself about 2 years from installation! Contacted the company but no solution offered. Very dissapointed. The Bath Fitter franchise was Mont- Saint- Grégoire. Installation occured in Beloeil. Altough advertisement says lifetime guarantee, it tooks months to get a call back and no repairs was offered! I sold my house a few months ago and the bath issue had a certain devaluation effect on the price. That`s it. At least, thanks for getting back!

The lady in the office in Livonia, ( Kim ) was terrific. The consultation with Ron and the workers ( Paul and Hunter ) were really great. The shower they installed and craftsmanship were the best I have ever seen and I have been in construction my whole carer. Thanks again for being so professional, both in the field and office. I called the Barrie location to get a quote, left a couple messages, and it took them several days to get back to me. The salesman quoted nearly 10k for a new tub and tile surround. The salesperson said this was the most competitive price I could get. I wasn't convinced so I decided to do some more research and was able to find an independent contractor who was quick, professional, and did an incredible job for literally half the price. I’m very glad I trusted my instincts and looked elsewhere.

Had bathfitters limerick, redo our bathroom. The guys were great, they fitted what they were given. Firstly the new bath leaked, and had to be replaced. They put a hole on the new wall, came back and put a coupling over the hole on the wall. The wrong toilet was fitted and we still have it, apparently to put in the toilet we ordered we would have to take up the bathroom floor, we were not told this when we placed our ordered. The hand basin had to be taken out and we still have a basin we didn't order, bathfitters don't know the difference between rectangle and round, we ordered a round basin, and on the second visit to replace the first basin they put in, they put in a rectangle one. The final insult was when they put a tatty light plastic toilet seat on, when we had ordered a soft close seat. After many months waiting, and a big deal made of it, we were delivered a toilet seat at about 8.30 pm one night. We were told it had to be specially ordered, the next day when my husband opened the box, it contained the very same tatty light plastic seat. This ordeal went on for 8 months. If I had the.money, I would tear the whole lot out and have Mt bathroom done by professional bathfitters. Do not go near this company, they will break your heart.

I had Bath fitter come out to redo our tub/shower combo on 4.14.25. At first everything went well, however it was discovered that during the installation of the tub the worker cracked the back of our toilet. This caused a crack to slowly get worse over time and a day later we come home to find water absolutely gushing from our downstairs ceiling. We go upstairs to the bathroom to discover the issue and the floor is flooded. Bathfitter did come and replace the toilet, however did not offer to mitigate any water damage to the floor or our ceiling. We decided to call them a few days later to tell them that now our bathroom smells musty and the ceiling is stained from water damage. They are having a contractor come to fix it and this will require him to rip out and repair pieces of our ceiling and the carpet in our bathroom closet that was flooded and now smells terrible. It is very disappointing that they did not offer to take care of this and that we had to call them to ask about it. This has caused a huge disruption to our daily lives and now we have to live with the fear that the water got into somewhere we can't see and will grow mold. During all of this they have the nerve to send me an invoice without taking ANY percentage off due to their incompetence and the inconvenience this has caused us and our family. This is deplorable and I will not be paying this invoice until I am satisfied with the water remediation and we reach a mutually agreed upon deduction from the bill.

The installer (Christian) did an excellent job. He was kind,understanding and very professional. He did an outstanding job with caulking, leveling and alignment. The entire job was professionally done and it looks outstanding. Before leaving, Christian cleaned the area and left everything in good order. I highly recommend him for the installation.

Bath Fitter of Deerfield Beach installed a walk in shower. Steve the installer did an excellent job in a timely manner. I would recommend this person anytime.
I am reviewing my bathfitter experience in Prince Edward Island. I was sold at tub and wall liner and made my deposit. I was scheduled an install date and then rescheduled. When they arrived the tub didn't fit. Another date was arranged and rescheduled to try samples tubs. After that another installation dated was given and rescheduled 3 more times! It's been 15 weeks since I made my deposit and after talking to their manager Ryan I was assured he would personally look after my file until it was complete and he said he would call me back about adding a discount. He never did. When I called him to talk about it the day before the install he was too busy to talk me but had a staff member call to tell me he would give me $250 off at 6k installation. that's not even half a percent! I wrote him an email telling him that was unacceptable. He never responded. I absolutely without a doubt would never recommend bath fitters to anyone. Hands down, a terrible experience. They also put a hole in our wall during install and took zero responsibility. So now I have to fix that on top of everything. Hire anyone else, but not bath fitters.
I had two bathrooms tub and enclosures done by Bath fitters in 2021. I had no complaint or question about the cosmetic work that was done the product looked great until about a month ago. I had water coming done in my living room ceiling from one of the bathrooms above. Well after hiring a plumber after we had to open up the ceiling to investigate the leak was coming from one of the tubs. The leak was coming from the overflow of the tub we took the cap off and found there was only one screw holding the back plate where the gasket sits therefore allowing water to pour out the overflow onto the ceiling below. After having cold Bath fitters of Fort Meyers several times they refused to take responsibility for the error in fact it is clear they could never put the second screw in to hold the back plate because the tub insert covered the screw hole !!
We had our bath tub shower converted to a walk in shower with glass doors by Bath Fitter. The work was done by Connor Taylor and we are very pleased with the installation he completed. He worked in a professional fashion, left our home clean and we are happy with our new walk in shower.
Our whole experience with bath fitters was excellent. From initial consultation, to installation which was done by Chris, and plumber, Mike. They worked very efficiently and were very personable. We love that it has a lifetime warranty and were amazed at only a one day install that is promised. We will recommend bath fitters to our friends and family, and when we need our other bathroom done, bath fitters will be called.
wanted to have a chair in the shower but was told it would be 400 dollars.also the flooring is slippery and was told it would be 450 dollars they could put a coating on it. it took two days.

The sales people came in and promised over and over that bathfitter stands by their product. After months and months of trying to get the glass doors clean, I gave up and called bathfitter. They said that if I had hard water Theresa nothing they could do. However the sales people never told us anything about this. I insisted that someone come ind see what I was talking about. As soon as the person they sent looked at the doors and said you have hard water ( as though he knew what to say). I would never recommend bathfitter to anyone. I am embarrassed for anyone to use my bathroom because it looks like I don’t clean the doors.
My mother in law spent 9200.00 to get a shower installed in her unit in Parksville, BC. Initially they were very pleased with it, but after some use found that it was too slippery and dangerous to shower. The Manager was rude when speaking to my mother in law, and told her that she had to pay extra for anti slip and the conversation "was over" . What we don't understand is why if they are putting in a shower for an elder person, that includes grab bars, why would they not include an anti slip surface in the quote , it stands to reason that a slippery surface is massively dangerous to anyone especially an elder person with balance issues. As the owners of a Construction company, we have the ability to fix this issue ourselves, for people that do not have this option STAY AWAY FROM PARKSVILLE BATHFITTERS! Ed is arrogant and un helpful.
To bath fitters in general anti slip surfaces should be automatic in your quotes, it's a no brainer!
It was an excellent experience: The old tub was removed quickly and the shower was installed quickly and efficiently. All our requests were met in every regard in a timely manner. The installers were professional and courteous- Bryan, Marco, Gabby & Gull. Beverley in the office co-ordinated everything needed. Robert Munro, the salesman, explained the process clearly and professionally. The whole process was seamless and excellent.
