Very disappointing experience. Special delivery was paid for the order to arrive on a designated date, however, it arrived 7 days earlier when we were away. Unfortunately, nobody we know was nearby to take it in so by the time we returned home it was gone. I contacted Basco customer service for a refund, and after 3 weeks they finally "processed" the refund... 2 weeks later, still no refund and Jo from customer service is rather unhelpful. Please save yourself the trouble and order somewhere else

Great service. The order arrived when Basco said it would. The packaging kept everything chilled and the product was the best quality. As a chef of 35yrs I could not ask for more.

Brilliant selection of products, easy to order, fast delivery beautifully packaged all round excellent service. The products are very good quality and got the full approval of my Spanish dad after receiving his Christmas present! Highly recommended!

Bought a hamper as a present. It was delivered on time and the recipients were delighted. I shall be ordering again!

Ordered 2 packs fois gras, east site to navigate, arrived well packed with 2 unordered packs of padron peppers (the best out of Spain!). Our only gripe is with DHL delivery who didn't knock (we were in when delivered) and so the box lingered outside for at least an hour before we opened the door.

Bought some cooked octopus for our spanish family meal for xmas eve - described as 900g (with some tolerance allowed!). On unpacking was clearly underweight 630g with no labelling. Sent Basco an email (with a photograph) and they offered a refund for the difference in weight no regard for the fact that it would not cover my requirements for the meal. Emailed again asking for it to be treated as a formal complaint given my dissapointment at their response and highlight the lack of labelling with NO best before dates or anything else (their reason was that it fell off during packing) - at the least they could have sent out another in recompense as I cant eat something that I dont know, at the very least, the best before date. To date I have received NO acknowledgement - nothing. Really poor and clearly not interested - will be going elsewhere for my spanish food and treats

The best turrón ever. Delicious and unforgettable. Will buy it again for Christmas.

I came across this website whilst looking for recipes for tapas; they were incredible by the way. I came back to it a couple of weeks later and decided to order from them too.
We ordered olive oil, suckling pig (boneless), paprika, lentils, wine, gin, 43 and a paella kit.
There was a delay in the paella kit being delivered: they’d sold out of the chorizo ring that came with it and we had to find an alternative and, through no fault of theirs, but the couriers, when the suckling pig arrived, it was completely defrosted. A couple of quick calls and an email and it was reissued and arrived perfectly. The meat is for Christmas, but we have eaten the other one, obviously. It was succulent and delicious, with crackling like thin glass! We roasted it off, in chunks in the air fryer. There was enough there for 8 good sized adult portions of meat.
We haven’t tried the booze; that’s also for Christmas as is the paella kit. The olive oil is excellent value for money, tastes deliciously peppery, has a beautiful colour and is lovely to cook with, too.
The packages were really well wrapped and presented and the after-sales service was second to none. Big shout out to Caitlin for her professionalism and care.
We will definitely be ordering again.

Yet again Basco came up with the goods for our latest Taps evening. Great delivery packaging and timing and the new products we bought, especially the Anchovies, really " hit the spot" and will be on our next order

A comprehensive selection of quality products competitively priced. On the rare occasion that there has been an issue with the order it is resolved very quickly and without fuss. I always feel I can trust Basco with my order.

Placed an order on 30/11/2025. Received order on 04/12/2025 and two products (butifarra blanca) had a best before date of 19/07/2025. Emailed them straight away. No reply received. Emailed again on 06/12/2025. No reply so far. I'm reporting them to trading standards.

Bought some excellent hampers; tinned fish and seafood, as well as specialist items like Basque cider from Basco - always been highly delighted with content; quality and delivery - great Spanish food and drinks company to deal with !

Incredibly disappointed with my first - and likely last - order. The two packs of frozen croquetas that I had bought for future use came completely thwarted. I have tried three times to reach out to the team at Basco with zero response.

i have been using Basco now for a year or so and have yet to be disappointed in it quality and range of authentic products especially its cheese cake only wish i could get a quicker delivery service but that my area problem rather than Basco
