Helpful and knowledgeable
Really helpful guy spent time with me explaining options based on my preferences. I didn’t feel pressured at all and ended up really happy with my purchases which made it back safely with me to Wales!
Will definitely call in again when next in the area visiting family.

Above and beyond!
Absolutely fantastic shop with a great selection. I called today 30 mins after the shop closed because I screwed up and had not realised the time they shut, I had a very important mission to deliver a bottle of Scotlands finest to South Africa. The owner reopened and made this possible, the bottle is now on route. Slainte mhath!

Thank you very much for your review, It was the least we could do to make sure that you had a bottle of Glenallachie 15 to head all the way to South Africa. I hop the recipient loves it, I know I do, it's a stunning dram.
Safe travels

Was looking for a bottle of whisky for…
Was looking for a bottle of whisky for a present so popped into B&B for the first and last time. The owner was one of the most difficult and rude people Ive ever met.His political views of which he had many should never come into a conversation whilst attempting to buy a bottle of whisky and his joy of the queen passing away was very evident.A very bizarre experience never to be repeated.

Utter lies. Politics never pass the door of the shop, that is a rule I have Made from the first day of opening.

Thanks….. we make sure every effort is made so that the bottle arrives safely
Won’t be using again
Won’t be using again, didn’t send the rum I ordered and when I questioned was told the order was correct.
Was told I could return (at my expense) and I would be refunded. Will look elsewhere in future.
Thanks for nothing
As to the reply the retailer has put I did not say I didn’t like the rum they sent (it’s one of my favourites) the bottle I received is not an updated bottle unless the one on their site is over a year out of date. Yes I did say if they would refund the postage I’d be happy to keep the rum sent but was told I had already agreed to keep it (which I hadn’t).

Unfortunately for the retailer we are subject to bogus reviews when the whole story is not told.
This customer in question order a North Star Spiced rum (albeit not the one pictured on the website, but the same rum regardless), buyer then informed us he didn’t like the rum sent even though it is the same recipe that North Point use and merely a new updated label.
Customer then asked for his postage to be returned and was happy to keep the bottle.
When we refused he posted a 1 star review.
