My friend and I both came to Vanity Clinic to see Dr Baris Kanik for surgery. He was very personable, very professional, and we are extremely pleased with our surgery. I can highly recommend him. He found his way around some tricky surgical sitations to get the best result. He also repaired previous damage. All in all can't fault him.

Dr Bariş Kanik is an incredible Doctor! He listened to me and my concerns. Gave me his professional opinion and concerns. He never once pressured me to do one thing or another just helped guide me to make the best decision for me. He is an incredible Doctor in and out of the operating room. So happy I had him and with my results. If I ever go back for more procedures it will be with him! Highly recommend! (Went in for breast augmentation!)

I had a breast augmentation done with Dr Baris a few months ago, and I am extremely happy with my results. I was so nervous for this operation as it would be the first surgery I’ve ever had, but during my consultation, I was put instantly at ease. The doctor explained everything clearly and recommended options and was very honest about what results to expect which I am really grateful about.
I would also like to say a great thanks to the doctor for reassuring me constantly during my time at the vanity hospital and explaining the procedure and recovery timeline several times.

I cannot recommend this doctor enough, his surgical work is precise and phenomenal and he listens to you as his patient! The aftercare was detailed and clear and all questions were answered before being discharged. If I ever want any more cosmetic work done, I will definitely be back as I trust his opinion and work entirely.

Would like to say a big thank you to Dr Baris for everything he has done for me. I went in October 2025 for a mommy makeover, however due to my health I wasn’t able to get my tummy done too. He was very helpful with the coordinators in me to come back and get my tummy completed, which I have just had done.

From the consultation, to my discharge, I felt so safe in his hands. He was honest with me, kept my expectations a reality and if I ever want any type of surgery again, I will be returning to Dr Baris. I really can not recommend him enough. I truly believe he puts you above all else and I really appreciated that.

I traveled from USA to turkey for a nose job and breast lift with implants. I picked Vanity Clinic and ended up with DrBaris Kanik. Upon consultation he talked me out of implants and suggested just to do the lift. $750 was refunded to me. This shows integrity, not just money making enterprise. It was a great decision! I love my lifted boobs! The clinic was great, clean and cozy.
All staff at Vanity is good looking. Nurses are awesome. Anesthesia was a hit- no sore throat, no scratched throat, very positive experience. My surgery was on december first and everything is healing well. There were 3 coordinators, who communicated to me on whatsup. it was a little confusing who was responsible for what . Umut did a great job answering my questions. The downside was consultation was on the same day as surgery which of course felt rushed. But thats turkish business model I guess :)
Its the end results what matters to me, not million consultations before and after. And I am happy with results. I really love my new nose! This is exactly how I wanted my nose be:). Yes, I would recommend

I live in the UK and I know there is no way that the service received would have been anywhere near the same as that I recieved in Turkey. I needed to stay in the hospital a extra night and there was no issue with this - Dr Baris Kanik came to see me and to check in on multiple occasions and Vanity have remained in contact with me upon my return.

Dr Baris did a great job with my Breast augmentation and Rhinoplasty! He is very stickler when it comes to his work! He listened to my concerns and what I wanted and made it happened and told me when a request was realistic or not. He speaks good English and is well diversed with different ethnicities. Which is great especially if you’re coming from a different country. My only complaint I will say was the pain management but I believe it’s a cultural thing maybe. It wasn’t a lot of pain management medication wise post surgery, I wasn’t on any controlled meds or narcotics. It was mainly NSAIDS and otc stuff which I suppose is better for your body. I’ve had different medical/surgical experiences in turkey and it was always the pain management so I think it’s just treated more naturally. I only had pain post op from my Breast Augmentation which lasted about 2-3 wks and then it was just uncomfortable for a couple more weeks but here I am 3 months post surgery and I have 0 pain and everything looks great! I had no pain at all with my Rhinoplasty it was just mostly being uncomfortable post op and during the healing part.
I am not longer uncomfortable with either, I do know that it takes a full year to see final results especially with rhinoplasty, and my nose has looked different everyday since, I’ve hated some days and loved it other days but Dr Baris gave me what I asked which was a natural look with a few changes to the structure of my nose! I wasn’t a big fan of the consultation being on the same day as the surgery because it felt a bit rushed generally speaking but everything turned out well. I definitely recommend having someone with you especially if you are doing a Breast augment because I was not able to get out of bed on my own for 2 weeks especially since it was under the muscle. I had to fly my mom out to help me move around. Overall Good experience and loving the results ! The clinic/patient coordinator have done a great job with communication once I returned back home to the United States!

I am extremely happy with my experience with Dr. Baris at the clinic in Turkey. His professionalism, kindness, and attentive care made me feel confident and well-looked-after throughout the entire process. The level of professionalism at the clinic was very good.

J’ai réalisé une blépharoplastie dans cette clinique et, même si le chirurgien, le Dr Baris, m’a semblé compétent, mon expérience globale a été très décevante.

Dès le départ, j’ai demandé des photos avant/après du docteur. On m’a répondu qu’ils n’en avaient pas pour des raisons de confidentialité et de droit à l’image… puis mon interlocuteur francophone m’a finalement envoyé des photos censées montrer le travail du Dr Baris. En les recherchant, je les ai retrouvées sur Internet : elles n’avaient aucun lien avec lui. Une publicité totalement mensongère, qui a directement mis en doute la transparence de la clinique.

Le jour de l’opération, je suis arrivée à 9h du matin, à jeun, et je n’ai été opérée qu’en fin d’après-midi, vers 17h-18h. Ça m’a laissé la journée entière sans manger, avec un stress qui montait. Clairement pas la meilleure manière d’aborder une chirurgie.

Après l’intervention, je suis sortie au bout de deux heures alors que je me sentais très mal : tremblements, malaise lié à l’anesthésie générale. Quand je suis retournée demander de l’aide, l’infirmière de nuit a été extrêmement désagréable, me disant presque que c’était “dans ma tête”. À un moment où j’avais réellement besoin d’être entourée, cette réaction a été très difficile à vivre. Heureusement, d’autres infirmières rencontrées plus tôt avaient été très bienveillantes.

Pour le suivi, les trois premières semaines ont été plus ou moins correctes grâce à un interlocuteur anglophone qui transmettait mes photos au chirurgien. Puis, du jour au lendemain : silence complet. Messages ignorés, aucune réponse. Aujourd’hui, cela fait trois mois, et le Dr Baris n’a aucune information sur mon évolution depuis près de deux mois, ce qui est inadmissible pour une chirurgie du visage.

Concernant le Dr Baris lui-même : il m’a paru rassurant, professionnel et compétent. À trois mois post-op, ma cicatrice est encore assez visible, mais je sais qu’il faut laisser le temps faire son travail. J’ai senti qu’il faisait les choses sérieusement et qu’il connaissait très bien son métier.

En résumé : un chirurgien qui semble maîtriser son travail, mais une clinique qui manque clairement de transparence, d’organisation et de suivi. Entre les fausses photos, l’attente interminable le jour J, la mauvaise prise en charge en sortie d’opération et l’absence totale de suivi, mon expérience reste très mitigée.

Je conseille vraiment de bien se renseigner sur la fiabilité du suivi et la transparence de la clinique avant de s’engager.

Really good Co2 Laser surgery, and 10 days later Botox. Deeply experienced, he has done 100s of Co2 Laser and Botox and it shows, he did the work perfectly, not to mention giving me great advice for post treatment. V nice guy. He is my new face guy. See you in half a year again. Thanks Doc! Oscar

I had a breast lift and breast augmentation with baris kanik, my experience was 10/10 from the very beginning, he made me feel at ease at consultation, talked me through everything and answered all my questions I couldn’t of asked for a better surgeon. After my surgery he came straight to check on me and make sure everything was ok and also the next morning came to check on me and made me feel at ease again he was just amazing, my aftercare was 10/10 and he always answered my questions I had as I’m a panicker was always at the end of the phone. I had a couple more appointments and nothing was too much trouble for him. My final appointment before I came back to England was very good and made me feel safe enough to return home, since being back in England he has been at the end of the phone whether through messages calls or zoom calls. I am so so very happy with my results and my experience I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to have another procedure and definitely with the same surgeon.

My partner and I travelled from the US to have Dr. Baris Kanik at Vanity perform his magic on our necks faces. He surely proved himself and, now, a year later, both myself and my partner couldn’t be happier with the results. We are both older and Dr. Kanik took the time and care and necessary precautions to make sure we were safe and precisely calculated what he would be able to accomplish given our age. We were very grateful for his knowledge, expertise and utmost concern for our well being. We have gotten so many compliments on our youthful and natural looking faces and some of our friends will be visiting Dr. Baris soon. Please listen to previous reviews everything's that's been said is VERY true OfCourse he keeps getting my review taking down so I can only say so much thankfully I didn't get surgery after spending Thousands he admitted he had no intentions of even doing my surgery which I am glad of now after the experience and horror stories I was told and seen while being over there, please do your research listen to the reviews most of all listen to your gutt your sold a dream which most definitely isn't what you receive once they have your money! From my first conversation & consultation I felt listened too and all my questions were answered with all the information I requested.
I decided on a breast lift & enlargement which I’ve wanted my whole life. I have Tuberous breast deformity, which the very wonderful Dr Baris explained to me.
I decided to go for the procedure on my own from the UK. This was a brave decision, I was nervous about this.
However I never once felt abandoned or without support, from been collected from the airport, taken to the hotel from the hospital or any questions I messaged day & night to both Emre & Umut my coordinates.
The hospital is so so clean, with my own private room that had everything I needed for my over night stay after surgery.
Yes the language barrier at time was difficult but through sign language, myself and all the wonderful nurses managed to somehow communicate.
Dr Baris is truly a very talented surgeon, he had a big task basically reconstructing my deformed breast. I sitting here in tears of joy how this amazing man had transformed my life, my confidence with the results of my breast.
With each of my questions he explained in much detail so I understood everything that was going to happen before, during and after the operation. Dr Baris also no matter how busy he is takes his time during each check up after the operation. I had a slight worry about a red mark and txt Emre and within 10 minutes I was told a driver would collect me so Dr Baris could see me. The Red mark was nothing to worry about but the reassurance meant everything to me.
Emre is such a positive person, and his English was outstanding. He kept me clam before the opp and translated so I had a clear understanding of what was happening.
All the nurses were so caring, kind and professional.
