How am I supposed to rate your company, when I didn’t even receive my package???

I’m still waiting for the product to arrive, and I have not received any email to explain the delay.

...happy with the product though it did take quite a while to arrive!

Avoid this website if you do not want to lose your money. I have ordered 3 x items from this shop and only 1 item has arrived. I have reached out to their customer service team 3 times via an e-mail provided on their website and still have not had a response nor refund for 2 x items that still have not arrived.

EDIT: 4 days later after the prompt response on this review and a forth email I've still not received a response.Order Number 14106, look it up. Your product is faulty and a refund is due.

I ordered The Ordinary Salicylic Acid and it arrived faulty. Furthermore, the box is very damaged (as in someone else has already had this product before and ripped it open). I've emailed them 3 times so far and have received no answer. Also messaged on facebook but again - no answer. I would strongly advise against ordering from Bare Face. Bad products and no customer care whatsoever.

I ordered The Ordinary Azelaic acid (2 lots) as it was the only place online showing stock. I then ordered another one from The Ordinary (having read the awful reviews on here I feared the worst) so was able to do a side-by-side test
The packaging is identical, the smell is identical and the appearance is identical so I’m assuming they are completely genuine. They are slightly more expensive but I was happy to pay the extra to get what I wanted. I’m happy with my purchase.

We had been conned by another distributor so I posted an enquiry on the Bareface site as to the authenticity of the product. The response was immediate and positive and came with a personal guarantee. The Ordinary was posted within hours. As the service was honest and quick we ordered again within days. Excellent, excellent Company

I had ordered several The Ordinary products from here and believe they are fake. I have since ordered from Deciem and everything is different - the smell, the colour, the consistently. I am very disappointed and also concerned about what I have been using on my skin for weeks. Who knows what is in these.

I can see the reply it mentioned that ONE of my orders was placed 60 days ago and this is correct. I then placed a further order just last week as well as an order with deciem directly. This is when I came to notice the complete differences with the products and looked further into spotting counterfeit products - which unfortunately the products you supplied all matched up with. I had retinol from both you and deciem and there are contrasting differences in the colour, consistency and smell, as well as differences between packaging and bottles etc.

I am still awaiting x1 refund.

The Ordinary Moisturiser was a stocking filler for my wife. When I purchased the item, it was posted with an image of the 100ml sized moisturiser which was out of stock everywhere online, at a price of £11.99 + £3.90 postage, so I ordered it.

When it arrived it was only the 30ml size item, which is priced at around £5 everywhere else. I rechecked the Bareface website, and the image of the 100ml product was still there, however I then noticed that next to it in the description in very small letters it stated '30ml'. The product title did not mention the size at all.

I emailed and queried this with the store, and was basically told sorry, but the size was there on the website but they would make it clearer on the website. It appears they have now changed the image and put the size in the product title.

I had hoped they would offer to refund the difference in cost (RRP) between the 30ml and 100ml items as a goodwill gesture but they did not. I did consider returning for a refund, but it was so close to christmas, I ended up keeping it to give my wife.

Please take care when ordering from them and double check listings, as I believe the listing I bought from was VERY misleading/deceiving. For the cost of the 30ml item from this webstore (incl postage) I could have bought 3 of them from Boots.com.

EDIT: Further to reply below, as I stated, the image was of the 100ml item and its shown clearly on the bottle. Only at the side underneath the descritption did it state 30ml in much smaller letters. I still have the screengrab and your email reply where you acknowledged the incorrect image. As also stated, you have now updated the listing to include the correct sizes more clearly and the correct image. At the time of ordering it was very misleading.

And the item Is still double the RRP cost of the equivalant elsewhere.

After more than 10 emails the offer could not be cancelled as it did not arrive longer than a month. They don‘t want to transfer the money back and neither send the product. My money is gone and there is no product. Worst online shopping ever.

After ordering the ordinary azelaic acid I came here to read the reviews. The reviews made me very skeptical of the product, Im glad I didn’t read before ordering the product. Anyways, I was relieved after receiving the product, it is genuine as expected and the service was great as well. I would definitely recommend this website and would be ordering again.

As it was a gift I can't review the contents but the recipient was very pleased with it.
