Bare Cremation Anmeldelser 

I would like to warn others against using this incompetent service. They make terrible mistakes from cremation right through to the legal side of the business causing unnecessary stress to bereaved families. They are cheap for a reason, understaffed, lack of supervision and very poor IT systems.

Wish I could give a -5 star review.

Having my Dad suddenly die was hard enough, let alone having to deal with the unknown planning of funeral.

Bare was recommended to us and was chosen by my Mother, whom had just lost for partner of over 60 years.

First contact with Bare, We asked for a very specific date, we were told that was fine.
We completed the paperwork online and we had the Bare Representative booked in a time for a meeting at home with our family.

Over 24 hours later we received an Email that they had to cancel the Funeral, due to being a public holiday, despite our family being told that this date was fine.

The next sentence said that they did not even have any coffins available for my Dad at all and the coffins were days away from being in stock.

A funeral Provider with no Coffins in stock!!!!

The email said nothing about providing an alternative etc.

We tried to call Jake 3 times with no answer.

We called the Bare line and waited over 10 minutes to be answered and than to just be told, 'We are sorry'

Again no suggestions in even trying to help.

Will never ever ever recommended or use this company.

Thanks for adding to the stress of our heartbreak even more.

Everything that Bare says is false and the opposite of what they say about themselves.

Bare funerals need to review there policies as a next of kin the legal rights stay with that person until that person shuts down and does not share wheb the important dates of a cremation or final resting day is - as a son I was not interested in all the information all I wanted was to find out the day my mother was being cremated so I could go and say my final good byes by the beach throw some flowers in the water but no one could tell me this I believe the next of kin needs to be the legitimate person but if a son or a daughters rings to find out the day this information should be shared. Absolutely disgusted with this funeral home

100% dissatisfied, took out 2 policies and in 4 different locations in qld ,Dalby,Collinsville, jericho,home hill they do not service,this is pathetic.
They need to clearly list places they do and dont services. Waste of time and money with these mob

My Dad recently passed in Toowoomba. Bare was chosen as the best place to handle his cremation. All arrangements were made and paid for, for them to pick him up and then deliver him back to Toowoomba on a certain day.
My sister was chasing the company up every couple of days to see where our Dad was when all of a sudden they no longer transport back to Toowoomba!
I'm sorry, but this was a part of our original agreement and it should be followed through.
With this already being a distressful time for our family, Bare have made it 100% worse by failing to deliver on their promise and bring my Dad home.
Fix your website and inform your staff of what you can and cannot do as they are both misleading and causing people undue stress at an already stressful time.

We contacted Bare Funerals at Harvey Bay, not knowing what we needed to do.
They were so help full in all aspects of the cremation. No problem was ignored, I think they are marvellous and I thank them all very much

I could never call an experience in these circumstances “great”, but I felt I was always dealt with care and compassion. The voices on the phone were always friendly and kind; I was never kept waiting; all my queries were attended to in a timely and efficient manner; and after my first contact my calls were met with recognition. I never felt like ‘yet another annoying client’. For all of that I was extremely grateful, given the state of distress I was in. Everything was made easy for me, and I never felt tension or stress when it was necessary for me to call you.

Thank you to Kate at Bare Cremation's for looking after us at this difficult time. Bare made everything easy, the paperwork was online and easy to follow. Kate was only a phone call away if I needed any help. Kate rung everyday to check how I was going. Kate phoned to let us know when the cremation was taking place so we were able to take the time to come together as a Family whilst this was taking place even though we weren't present. Even checking that it wasn't a special day in the Family. Our family member was returned home quickly and you were given a date and a 30 minute time slot so you weren't waiting around all day. The Thank you note was a lovely touch. I would recommend Bare Cremation very professional, compassionate and friendly service.

The process was well planned and took a lot of the pain away, as Dad was organised in advance of the inevitable. We knew what he wanted so did not have to make any expensive decisions in a time of grief. We organised our own "celebration of life" which went off beautifully. Kate was always respectful and very helpful.

The hole process was seamless and the staff I spoke with were very nice and explained everything very well.

Honest, and quick

For a simple straightforward cremation I found Bare a excellent choice. The price is very reasonable and the service is good. They may not get back to you straight away on calls, but they will get back to you in a short time. I found them to be friendly, compassionate and very professional, and a great assistance in your time
of need.

So easy and compassion was incredible staff was truly helpful during this hard time

As per my mother's wishes we wanted a no frills cremation with no service and just the ashes returned and Bare provided that. Even though it was last minute thing with our mother passing around lunchtime, She was picked up at 4 pm and everything went smoothly. We didn't relaise that they would handle everything including notifying Centrelink and Births Deaths and Maragies.
A excellent, smooth process from go to whoa. Throughly recommend Bare.

we found bare funerals to be caring, solicitous and by far the most affordable funeral home to deal with. they went to great lengths to make the experience as stress free as possible.

They outlined the whole procedure in a caring and concise way. If there are three words to describe my experience they would be Compassionate, Caring and Considerate of my needs. I have no hesitation in recommending this Company.

My partner opted for a private cremation (no service) that had a flat fee. No extras. A very reasonable fee indeed!
The process was seamless, easy and the staff were very considerate.
My constructive criticism would the ability to provide 2 things (this very well could have been on offer and I missed it):
1 - an upgrade/choice of urn; and
2 - a courier service to bring home his ashes
- additional/optional costs of course.
I would happily recommend this company and have done so to my immediate family and friends in due course. Thanks Bare!
