As this is an instant tan, the colour sits on the surface of the skin rather than fully developing like a self-tan foam, so some transfer onto clothing can occur until the product is washed off. We can assure you that any transfer should wash out easily.
We completely understand your disappointment, especially if you were expecting a result similar to the foam formula that you previously loved and enjoyed.

Watching the video of Vogue using the product I was expecting better coverage, I was disappointed. I also didn’t expect the pinky tinge to the medium. I wouldn’t but again.
