I had a really disappointing experience with Bano. After transferring money from my own account to my Bano account, I received a message from their team questioning the reason for my top-ups — even though the money was clearly mine.

Customer service was also slow and dismissive. I wouldn’t recommend Bano to anyone — there are much better, more respectful options out there.

The Bano team make me regret having used commercial banks all these years for my needs. They have an easy to use process, act promptly on instructions and provide great rates. Highly recommended.

Used to be a great app used for travelling. Past few months has been declining random transactions (can't even use to pay for an Uber). Now has decided to close my account while I am overseas with no notice. Terrible customer experience. Don't rely on them as your primary travel card, go with Up.

Horrible they have locked my account for no reason with all my money they won't reply to emails or life chat after I told them I reported them to aus TRAC cant even by my daughter dinner

I only wrote the previous scam, because they said they will paid me for it. But I did not get anything from them. SCAMMER.
I have over $500 in my account. Now they said they are restricting my account, because they are a complying bank. I replied to their email. But had been over 5 business days, and getting no response from them. I tried depositing money to this account, deposits go in, but is showing under review. I tried to withdraw fund from their digital card, DECLINED. I tried to do a money transfer, PENDING. This BANO has become a SCAM. Get your money out while you still could.

This Bank's normal cashback is pretty much useless, 5 cents or 1 cents.
But their weekly or monthly promotional cashback have been good from $3 through to $10. If you did not get your cashback instantly, then you will need to chase that up by contacting support. You did not paid to me my Bunnings cashback. I also did not received my utilities bills cashback promo, I received it after I contacted them. It should be automatic. This is the reason I give you 4 stars.
Their savings interest features just not worth mentioning, only 2 per cents.
I am looking forward to the bankoverdraft service.
