I used to be able to go on this site and just compare rates and closing costs. Now you must include a verified phone number and the phone solicitors start blowing up your phone the second it is verified.

Not seeing a single quote
I was led to believe that lenders would send me at least a preliminary quote based on all the key information I provided. Not a single lender did that. They insisted on additional information or on talking to me; something I wanted to avoid before seeing a quote.
