I’ve been taking one lesson per week for around six months, and during this time I’ve been gradually introduced to the drums in a very structured and supportive way. The lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, helping me develop better control and confidence, which makes it much easier to apply what I’ve learned when playing songs.

The lessons are one-to-one, and the teachers are very patient while also being attentive to how you approach each exercise. They give personalised feedback that really helps you improve. Overall, it’s a very welcoming and enjoyable place to learn.

As a beginner, I’ve really been enjoying my classes. Sam is very knowledgeable and explains things clearly, which has helped me progress a lot. The whole team is very approachable and supportive. If you’re feeling hesitant about starting, BANG Drum is a great place to begin!

I have been going to Bang drums school since March and I really picked the right drums school! The environment is really friendly, and the classes are 1-1, so all focus is on you and your learning journey. Simon is my teacher and he is brilliant, he is a great drummer and he's been teaching me to play the drums but also music theory. He challenges me and encourages me at the same time, which is great when you are learning a new skill, so you can make really good progress!

From my very first taster lesson, through all my later sessions, I have loved my time learning drums with Bang and couldn't recommend it more. It's in a really handy and fun part of Hackney, so I didn't need to travel far across London. The studio felt really authentic and my teacher has been really supportive. Thanks guys!
