Avoid! Unless you want a masterclass in contradictions and issues for weeks!

For what was supposed to be a ln exciting purchase turned into weeks of stress, being told contrary things that were possible and not possible, complaint dealt with like group of disconnected staff or ai because no one fully acknowledged by issues, their director apologised to me but holds no weight as the promised made by them could not be upheld to fix my issue to just get the correct item i ordered.
Such a waste of time and stress iv had to ask for a full refund and wont be doing any further business with this company.
Ill buy the item from anywhere else.
Dont waste your time as stress and wasted time are not things i wish in anyone else during pregnancy.still dont have what i paid for or my money back yet since so many emails, only just getting to a collection before refund stage and at this point i feel not only messed around but annoyed at the terrible handling from mutiple staff about the issues and contradictions and lies which made the whole experience worse.

Also in regards to response to my review about being lied, i want clarify why that statement of false promises and contradictions was made as to about a return label not being possible then why did the director shannon email me this again in their response to this review they say its a consistent policy but people can judge for them selves, also a collection i was not aware was coming to my door shortly after recieving the below email stating there to collect 2! Parcels, was suspicious and not mentioned below any collection would be coming as id confirmed i wanted the re paid return option, so a confused call from my mum there was a courrier unexpected at her door for an item i had not confirmed arrangements for hence the “refusal” untill i had spoken to someone to see what was going on .
Again for transparency to others wheres what i had initially been emailed after being posted the correct box for a black baby carrier which had a pink and beige lepord print baby carrier inside the box i didnt order:

“ Hi Claire,

Please accept my sincere apologies for the mix-up here. I’m honestly not sure how this has happened.

Can I just check whether the correct colour is shown on the box itself, or does the box also state Leopard? Either way, we’ll get this resolved and the correct carrycot sent out for you as quickly as possible.

I did notice the review that was left and wanted to apologise if you felt ignored. Looking through our records, this email came through at around 11pm on Friday evening. As a small family-run business, we do often monitor emails outside of normal working hours, but unfortunately we can’t always guarantee an immediate response overnight.

If you contacted us during our opening hours and didn’t receive a timely reply, then I sincerely apologise for that as well. We never want any customer to feel unheard, and I’m sorry that this has been your experience.

We’ll arrange for the correct carrycot to be dispatched on Monday. For the incorrect one, I can either arrange a collection from your address on a day that suits you, or if it’s more convenient, I can send you a prepaid returns label for you to drop it off at a suitable time.

Just let me know which option you’d prefer and we’ll get everything sorted for you.

UPDATE: The company has now acknowledged that the missed collection on 9th June was on their side. After nearly two weeks of being told collection was required and that this was their standard process, I was finally sent a prepaid returns label — the exact solution originally offered by the Director and requested by me from the start.

In a further twist, before I could even use the label, a courier unexpectedly arrived and collected the item anyway. No receipt was provided, no tracking details were supplied, and I received no prior notification that a collection had been arranged.

At this point, the item has been returned, I am still awaiting confirmation of the refund, and the entire process has been a masterclass in contradictory information, poor communication and unnecessary stress over what should have been a straightforward return.

Final update: I ordered the same carrier directly from Bizzi Growin and received the correct item within 2 days. Meanwhile, the Bambinos order was eventually cancelled and refunded after weeks of emails, contradictory information, missed arrangements and chasing. I am pleased the refund was ultimately processed, but the overall experience was far more stressful and time-consuming than it ever needed to be.

We are genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet expectations and appreciate how frustrating this situation must have been, particularly during your pregnancy.

While we fully acknowledge the inconvenience caused by receiving an item with incorrect labelling, we would like to clarify that we acted promptly to resolve the issue. A collection was arranged for the incorrect item, however this was unfortunately not completed. As explained throughout our communication, our policy requires the incorrect item to be returned before a replacement can be dispatched. This is a standard procedure that we apply consistently to all customers.

We are disappointed by suggestions that our team were dishonest. At all times, our staff were trying to assist and provide updates based on the information available. As a small family-run business, multiple team members may become involved in resolving complex cases, and whilst there may occasionally be misunderstandings, there was never any intention to mislead.

When you requested a refund, this was actioned in line with our returns process, and we remained committed to resolving the matter throughout.

We sincerely regret that you feel let down and wish you and your family all the very best for the future.

Services from Shannon was fast and…

Services from Shannon was fast and efficient. My pram arrived within days exactly how it was on the description i was over the moon. After using BAMBINOS last year for my single pram, finding out i was having another baby I didn’t think twice about going back for a double pram.

The burton branch is absolutely amazing…

The burton branch is absolutely amazing I couldn’t fault the girls at all nothing was ever too much for them however when I placed my order I was told it would be two week wait after this two weeks I got an email saying it’ll be another two week wait because of the manufacture this eventually turn into around a 6 week wait for nursery furniture to constantly be told it’ll be another week. I eventually when into store to complain and they were able to put me in touch with someone that chased my order and it was finally delivered

Wrong item no resolve- terrible conflicting info and not being listened to.

I am currently in the middle of an unresolved issue with Bambinos & Beyond and unfortunately cannot recommend them based on my experience so far.

I ordered a Black Serpentine baby carrier but received the wrong pattern. Mistakes happen, and initially I was reassured when the director apologised and confirmed that the correct item would be dispatched and that I could return the incorrect item using a prepaid returns label.

However, since then I have received multiple conflicting emails from different members of staff. Over the course of a few days I was told:

• The correct item would be dispatched.
• The correct item had already been sent.
• The item would need to be specially ordered.
• The supplier was sending the item.
• The incorrect item needed to be collected before the correct one could be sent.

Despite repeatedly requesting the prepaid returns label that was originally agreed, a collection was arranged instead. A courier then arrived unexpectedly at my parents’ house, despite me having clearly stated that I did not want a collection and preferred the label option.

The most frustrating part has not been the original packing error but the lack of clear, consistent communication. I still do not have confidence about when, or even if, the correct item will be dispatched because the information provided has changed several times.

I removed my original negative review in good faith when I believed a solution had been agreed, but unfortunately the issue remains unresolved.

Based on my experience, I would advise potential customers to be cautious and to ensure they receive clear written confirmation of any replacement arrangements before returning items.

UPDATE: Since posting this review and requesting a refund, I was asked for my availability for collection, provided it, agreed to a collection date proposed by the company, and was told I would receive a collection time slot. No collection slot was provided, no collection took place, and my mother waited in unnecessarily. I am still waiting for the incorrect item to be collected so that my refund can finally be processed.

Purchased a pre loved pram which was delivered the next day although paid usual delivery price. Pram was in pristine condition and I'm so happy with it! Lots of good communication and absolutely faultless service

No communication

No communication, I had to chase my order multiple times. Ordered back in March received part of my order second week in May and then two parts of my order was missing after being told it was in storing multiple times. I have only just 1/6 received all my order. No compensation offered for the inconvenience.

Really Poor Service.

Awful service from Bambino.

I bought a car seat a month ago. Two weeks later, nothing had arrived—just an email saying they were aware of a delay. I was going on holiday for a week, so I asked them to deliver after I returned. When I got back, still nothing.

I contacted customer service. They were polite and said they’d send my order from another store, with delivery guaranteed by Friday of the following week.

That’s a week ago now. No delivery. No email with an expected date or time. I’ve wasted the whole day waiting for it. I sent two more emails yesterday and today—no response.

I called customer service today, and they had no idea when my package might arrive.

Really, really poor service. There’s nothing left to do but get a refund. Now I have to order from somewhere else—somewhere that actually has stock, rather than letting people buy things Bambino don’t even have.

Unfortunately, this particular car seat was affected by an unexpected stock issue. As soon as we became aware of the delay, we worked with our suppliers and alternative stock locations to try and source the item as quickly as possible. However, it is clear that we have fallen short not only on the delivery timescale but also on keeping you adequately informed throughout the process.

I am particularly sorry that you were advised of a delivery timeframe that we were then unable to meet, and that you were left waiting for an order without receiving the updates you deserved.
