I’ve been a loyal Balenciaga customer…

I’ve been a loyal Balenciaga customer for years. I own multiple handbags, sneakers, and accessories, and have always chosen the brand for its bold design and supposed commitment to quality and client care.

Unfortunately, that trust has been broken.

I purchased a handbag for around $2,500, wore it only once, and kept it safely stored in its original dust bag. Not long after, the surface began to show visible damage — a clear defect that should never happen with such a high-end item.

I reached out to Balenciaga’s customer service expecting support. After weeks of back and forth, I was told:
– The item is no longer in production.
– It cannot be repaired or repainted.
– No credit or exchange will be offered.

In other words: I’m left with a nearly new handbag, visibly damaged, with no solution from the brand. This would be unacceptable from any brand — and it’s especially appalling coming from one at the luxury level.

Other luxury houses I’ve dealt with in the past have handled similar issues with care and respect, offering store credit or product replacement. Balenciaga, sadly, refused to take any responsibility.

This will be my last purchase with the brand.

If you’re considering buying Balenciaga, I strongly recommend rethinking it — the post-sale support is not what a luxury customer should expect.

Balenciaga: pessima esperienza per prodotti e assistenza

Pessima esperienza con i prodotti e il servizio Balenciaga. Scelgo una borsa in negozio e mi vendono quella in esposizione che poi scopro essere danneggiata, accusano me di aver fatto il danno e l'ufficio tecnico non è in grado di effettuare la riparazione. Chiedo la sostituzione della borsa che mi viene negata. Assistenza ricevuta solo tramite messaggi, nemmeno una telefonata di chiarimento nonostante i miei solleciti. Acquisto presso il negozio di Venezia.

Ne vous laissez pas avoir par Balenciaga.

Très déçu par Balenciaga.
J’ai acheté deux paires de chaussures à 775 € chacune. L'une d'elles, bien que datant d'il y a 4 ans, n’a été portée qu’une dizaine de fois – et pourtant, elle présente déjà un défaut de fabrication. Malgré cela, Balenciaga refuse tout geste commercial. À ce niveau de gamme, on s’attend à un minimum de considération client et à une qualité durable.
Je trouve cela inadmissible venant d'une maison qui se veut haut de gamme. Les marques de luxe devraient aussi se montrer à la hauteur de leur réputation après la vente, pas seulement pendant.

bought two pairs of shoes. In the same month one remained completely intact and one is crumbling the plastic of the sole like butter the shop says it does not depend on the product follies and then why the other shoe bought a week later does not have the same problem they are two different models, that is clearly a production problem I will never buy Balenciaga again

incredibly unprofessional behavior on the Balenciaga Europe e-shop. when registering a return, no one has responded to email or WhatsApp to this day. cannot be sent anywhere because I do not recommend sending at your own expense and the phone has been unavailable for several days. absolutely do not recommend

Centro assistenza clienti ottimo con Nicola

Sinceramente non capisco queste recensioni negative nei confronti del centro assistenza clienti. Personalmente sono stato seguito da Nicola, per vari acquisti che sul sito non era possibile effettuare perché le taglie non erano disponibili ed è riuscito a trovarmele lui. Devo ammettere che ha sempre soddisfatto le mie richieste ed ha trovato sempre la soluzione migliore. L'ho contattato e l'ho sentito più volte anche per telefono, dimostrando sempre una professionalità impeccabile. Persona educata, gentile e competente. Non so con chi voi vi siete relazionati ma io sono rimasto soddisfatto. Per altri acquisti contatterò sicuramente lui. Grazie

Worst shopping experience ever

1. The bag was on the webshop, but still not available.
2. The webshop suggested to send it from the local shop in Hamburg.
3. Making a mistake that caused UPS to bill me for import expenses.
4. It took one month for Balenciaga to correct the mistake.
5. Countless calls and messages to customer service with no or pointless responses. The courier also contacted Balenciaga with no response.
6. When the bag finally arrived it had obviously been used for demonstration in the showroom.
7. No apologies, compensation or follow up from Balenciaga.

Five star service!

Balenciaga in the Miami Design District has incredible service. I bought a pair of shoes that I didn’t like once I put them on at home, and they quickly arranged for an exchange over text message, for a completely different style. They set up the exchange so that I could pull up to valet, run inside, switch pairs, and walk right back out. The new pair was all wrapped and boxed and ready to go. They offered a water bottle to go and even remembered my dog’s name. Really above and beyond.

I’ve never seen a brand that makes…

I’ve never seen a brand that makes people so mad that they will write an entire paragraph about it, and if those same people see you in public they will look away from you in anger and jealousy. I don’t think any of these people realize no one pays retail for any of this either unless you’re an absolute sucker which is even funnier. Balenciaga is very cool and fun, and there’s a reason everyone from H&M to Saint Laurent is copying their designs to try to get a piece of their success. This shit literally makes people question their status in life when you pull up with it and it’s absolutely hilarious because in the end it’s literally just some clothes. Cotton and mesh with a logo. And people get so bent out of shape about it immediately and will go out of their way to cope about how being able to afford it is stupid and how the clothes are a rip off. Demna lives rent free in the minds of many. Definitely consider a piece from this brand one day.

Solution au vu du prix que vous payez ce qui les intéresse c’est que l’argent mais dès qu’il y a un problème avec leurs article il s’en contre fiche
déçu de cette marque et du service que l’on a pas des qu’il y a un soucis.. on paie des sommes et pas Garanti

I am extremely disappointed that…

I am extremely disappointed that Balenciaga continues to work with UPS, a company that has proven to be completely incompetent. For three days, my urgent order has not been delivered, and now even further delays have occurred.

Today, when the courier finally arrived, he refused to accept cash payment because the card machine didn’t work. Despite my urgency, he simply walked away without delivering my package.

I contacted customer service three times, and two agents assured me that my package would arrive today. However, a third agent suddenly claimed nothing could be done and even refused to connect me with a supervisor or provide a complaint email. She then hung up on me.

I find it outrageous that Balenciaga entrusts its deliveries to a company that operates in such an unprofessional manner. I have lost all trust in ordering from you because UPS is damaging your brand’s reputation. If a luxury brand cannot guarantee a reliable shipping service, what’s the point of selling "exclusive" products?

This experience has convinced me to never order from Balenciaga again. You can keep your products—I will take my business elsewhere. I strongly urge you to reconsider your partnership with UPS before more customers are lost due to their incompetence and lack of accountability.

Negozio ha gestito la mia richiesta va via (chissà perché). Vado nello store e mi viene detto che la
Richiesta è stata respinta perché le cuciture sono ok e quindi il problema è un dolo mio. Le foto e la scarpa dicono altro. Certo che le
Cuciture sono ok sono così tese che la pelle messa male si è rotta.Vedo da altre recensioni che è proprio prassi fare così. La cosa che mi fa rabbia è che non mi hanno neanche proposto una riparazione a pagamento che avrei pagato perché le scarpe sono nuove e mi piacevano. Oggi solo dopo aver scritto allo store manager me le invieranno. Se non gli scrivevo che facevano??? Il nulla. Servizio clienti zero e saccente. Comprerò altri marchi odio Balenciaga e non lo consiglierei neanche alla persona peggiore del mondo.
Andrò su marchi dove il servizio cliente è superiore e almeno ti aggiornano.

i accidently bought the wrong size…

i accidently bought the wrong size speed trainers for £650 sent them back next day for the right size then was informed they could not change them because they where fake,im very outraged im a 54 year old woman that made mistake on size and now being told i sent them fake ones back.if they are fake its because they where sent to me by balenciaga .im stuck with wrong size sneeker that was branded fake by them and out of pocket of £650 pounds .they did the same to a rapper in america and when realized he was famous they changed the shoes and said it was made in one of there cheaper factories abroad .may god dam you to hell you evil lying scum

This company's founder would be ashamed of what it's become. Your products are ugly and outrageously overpriced. Anyone who buys your products is a small minded person. The only kind of people that I imagine would buy this 💩 is people like Jaden Smith. wealthy, uncultured people that follow trends.

Very poor full knit shoes

So I have 2 pairs one lace up and one full knit, the full knit ones i have worn a handy full of times and they have gone all bobley this is the reply ( how can you miss use a pair of shoes when they have hardly been worn)

pictures provided and we regret to inform you that the pointed out issue (bubbled fabric) is considered as caused due to improper use and unfortunately shoes cannot be repaired. Please note material is quite deformed, fabric has lots of peeling and is quite consume, shoes shoe several signs of misuse'.
Load of rubbish not good customer service not good shoes for the amount of money paid it's discusting

How can they say that without asking for the shoes back, if they looked at the soles you can see they haven't been worn much at all. Not happy

Azienda decisamente poco seria con…

Azienda decisamente poco seria con prodotti e assistenza scadenti. Ho regalato a mia sorella borsa city per euro 2.350=. Dopo 3 settimane la borsa risultava deteriorata in diversi punti. Sono andata in negozio chiedendo la sostituzione dell'articolo ovviamente fallato, mi è stato detto che non erano responsabili per come io tratto le borse. Morale della favola: borsa acquistata il 22 di LUGLIO mandata in riparazione 1° SETTEMBRE borsa riconsegnata il 18 DICEMBRE. Di questa marca non comprò mai più' nulla.

Bad clothes for bad people

If i see someone wear balenciaga, i know that it's a person not worth talking to.
A moron. Balenciaga waders, balenciaga romeo loafers.. some of the, maybe even THE ugliest products ive seen in my life.
Clown shoes.

You couldve chosen to give to charity (because obviously you have plenty of money, and you choose to waste it) and buy normal shoes for a normal price but nope, you have to walk around with basically price tags still attached to your clothes to feel better than others.
This is not respectable behaviour.
It is disgusting and completely tasteless.
At this point youre just being a bad person.

The fact that they also sell heavily ripped jeans and shoes (paris) for thousands is beyond me.
The fact that people WASTE their money on it is even crazier, i would've never thought people would stoop so low to buy garbage for top dollar.
How is this not an insult to poor people? It's like your parodying homeless people.

Vanity/stupidity does NOT deserve respect.
