I would rate this 10 stars if I could. Heather made our steampunk themed wedding cake and grooms cake. All tiers were absolutely delicious. She's a lovely person and her attention to detail is second to none. We won't use anyone else for our family celebration cakes. We ordered a cake before the wedding and we have our next order in already. We definitely highly recommend her. If you choose the baking fairy for your celebration, you can't go wrong. All our guests loved the cake and there was more than enough to go around, we even brought some with us to Munich on our honeymoon!

Recently had a birthday cake made by The Baking Fairy, the cake was fluffy and light. It had a lot of flavour and the design and detail was fantastic!

Heather was a great teacher helping us get through a very busy day.
She really helped us produce a beautifully decorated cake.
Hopefully I’ll be able to remember but as she gave us printed out notes too I’ll have something to fall back on.
A very talented lady and her classes are good value for money.

I have attended 2 classes with Heather, a cupcake bouquet and also a Christmas wreath drip cake.

On both occasions Heather went to the pace of the slowest worker, carefully demonstrating the next step and allowing us to practice elements before applying them to the cake. On both occasions I learnt new skills to a level where I felt comfortable to replicate them at a later date at home. The classes have a capped capacity (in my case 4 students for each) which allows plenty of 1:1 time, but also allowing you to talk ideas through with the other students.

Tea/coffee were in abundance and nothing was too much trouble for Heather and her partner Mark who looked after us very well. Heather follows up classes by sending guide notes out by e-mail and also links to where she buys certain products that can’t be found in supermarkets.

I would 100% attend future classes and my daughter would also like to attend a class once she is a little older

The Baking Fairy is amazing! From first meeting to tasting the cakes to the set up on the day. Everyone absolutely loved the cake, it was gorgeous! Plus it tasted amazing too. We have quite a bit left over which we’re freezing for the time being but will keep us going a while 🥰 thank you for making our day even more special!

I also attended a Halloween workshop. We made some very professional looking cake toppers even though we were all complete novices. Heather took us very patiently through each step ensuring that we all created something special. She gave individual attention too when anyone needed a little extra instruction. At the end we practiced piping techniques on cupcakes(very helpful) and then topped with our mini masterpieces! Thank you Heather for such an enjoyable and amusing session. I would highly recommend to any novice bakers who wish to improve their skillls😀

Cake Decorating Class:
Halloween Cupcakes
A friend had spotted the Baking Fairy (aka Heather) and asked me to join her in the cake decorating class. I am so glad I did. I love
baking but never felt creative or confident at piping icing
on a cake or making models. Wow - I surprised myself! Heather patiently taught us to create spiders, witches legs and all things related to Halloween. We learnt how to fill a piping bag and create rosettes and swirls. We had laughs along the way. Nothing was too much trouble. Heather was always in hand to support.
Heather was a great communicator, both by email and teaching the 4 of us in the classroom. All emails contained clear info and there was no need to confirm anything at all. We also received clear guidance notes by email, after the class, detailing everything we had learnt plus more.
Heather's kitchen was a great, relaxing place to learn. Absolutely loved the class. I'll be back! Thank you Heather.

The Baking Fairy not only made my daughter’s wedding cake & 100 cupcakes, but safely delivered & assembled everything on the morning of the wedding.
All the cakes were moist, light , & with just the right amount of icing on each one. The cupcakes were different flavours & met the expectations of the bride & groom.
There was also a useful information sheet, allowing me to freeze the main cake whilst the happy couple were on honeymoon
Even though Heather is not local to us, I would absolutely recommend The Baking Fairy & would use her again

Did a vintage heart cake class in february 2024,it was such a great experience Heather was lovely and kind she made me feel very welcome and comfortable. it was also my first time ever decorating a cake she helped me whenever i was struggling and helped me build my confidence.Gave detailed and clear instructions.would definitely love to attend again when i can!definitely recommend.

We ordered some 'elf is back' cakes and they were totally amazing!

For the price, you could not go wrong. They tasted amazing and looked amazing too! I can't wait to order some more!

Arranging collection was so easy too. All in all, a fabulous service.
