Intimate and exciting! Great voices, high energy performances…a special night!

I came across the ad promoting Backyard Music Company and its Nashville artists just hours before showtime. I bought two tickets just because I like Listening Room shows and my wife and I agree that the singer songwriters last night at Firehouse #2 in Wilmington were excellent. We truly enjoyed the entire set over the two hour show; well done everyone!

Attended the weekend in Port Stanley Nashville Songwriters event. Everything from the venues, timing and the talent was top notch. They did a great job of creating casual and comfortable environment. Absolutely loved the event!

Overall good job by Scotty and his troops, the event hosts - especially Hill St and Wildflower Farm! Bit of a hiccup in the lead up promotions - I got several daily notifications all pointing to an unchanged web advert but no updates and no lineups. Also what was advertised for the weekend VIP pass wasn’t delivered but the music was great, the hospitality was wonderful and the intimate setting of Port Stanley with venues mostly close together made for a delightful weekend!

It was a spectacular fun weekend. Enjoyed all the amazing talent, a great mix of Canadian and American performers. The venue selection was also top notch. Thank you Backyard music Co. Looking forward to attending next years event🤠👏

Fantastic experience. The songwriters were amazing. Loved the stories behind the songs. Organization and venues top notch. I want to thanks all the songwriter/artists who travelled to Port Stanley for the weekend...you all were very special.

The Songwriters Festival was fantastic. I attend multiple festivals every summer and this festival was by far the one that I have attended in a long time. The musicians were superb and wonderfully entertaining. The festival was well organized and flowed smoothly all weekend. Can't wait to do it again.

A truly 5 star experience—the staff, the venues and the performers! We left the closing night with full hearts and gratitude for the wonderful weekend of music.

I attended afternoon sessions at Wildflower Farm, Saturday evening at the Port Stanley Brewery and the final Sunday night session. I thorougly enjoyed the ambience that was created by great venues and great music.

Well organized and excellent artists. Fun weekend with lots of great options. My only feedback as a weekend VIP is that some musicians did the exact same music set. Please make this an annual event. I would love to come back

This was such a great event! The volunteers were fantastic, the venues were superb, and the talent was excellent. We attended almost all of the events, and they ran smoothly. The vibe was outstanding, and all the artists were so welcoming and accessible. (More female artists, please!) I would definitely do it all again, and bring more friends. Shout out to the crowds as well. Everyone was chill and friendly. It was truly an intimate event without pretence. Great job, Scotty!

What an amazing weekend of music in Port Stanley this weekend! The artists were very talented, the venues were great and the communication from Backyard Music Co. was excellent. I’m not a country music fan but I enjoyed all the music. A lot of the artists had a folk/indie vibe that I loved. I had the weekend pass and went to all events offered.
The venue was awesome at Wildflowers but needed more food and food variety for a full afternoon and evening.
As a weekend pass holder, maybe switch up a venue between the VIP and weekend venues for a different experience.
Overall a wonderful event! It was intimate and you could easily meet and talk with the artists.
Thank you for bringing it to Port Stanley!

We brought 4 friends from out of town and attended the Port Stanley Songwriters Festival this past weekend.
We were extremely impressed with every venue and the exceptional organization we saw at every event we attended.
The songwriters were all extremely talented and very personable. We chatted with almost all of them either before or after their sets. They were friendly, engaged and truly happy to be there.
We talked to at least 4 songwriters that we had previously seen at events put on by Backyard Music in February and March of this year. For these artists to come back to Canada from Nashville a second time (or maybe more) indicates they were treated well by Backyard Music, enjoyed the venues and the concertgoers. They also indicated they liked the weather last weekend better than February/March…..lol
I think we’ve seen close to 20 artists in the past 5 months and every single one of them has impressed us! There is a lot of talent out there and we are lucky to have Scotty bring them. As much as we would like to go to Nashville, it is easier to have Nashville come to us !!

The Nashville Song Writers Festival at Wildflowers Farm was amazing! This quaint outdoor space to have this venue was lovely! I even had the opportunity to have breakfast with the artists and crew before the show. It was so nice to meet so many wonderful kind hearted people! Thank you to everyone who made this such an incredible experience!!

We enjoyed every minute of this magical event. The artists were so talented and the ambiance with the various venues made it such a rich and wonderful experience. Hats off to the organizers who would have had to think of so many details and manage some much. The energy was light and bright and we walked away from the weekend with a such a lovely feeling. Much gratitude.

Lovely experience. Like no other event I've been to - will cherish the memory and continue to hope for a next time.

Well, that was a blast, y'all🤠 My daughter lives in Nashville so I find myself there on a regular. But this weekend, Nashville came to us…..the first-ever Port Stanley Songwriters Festival, and by all accounts, it was a huge hit. Talented artists from Nashville and Canada told stories, sang, and entertained at various venues around our lakeside town. The whole weekend was meticulously planned to ensure everyone had a great time and the local economy got a boost. Huge congratulations to Backyard Music Co. and all the volunteers and musicians - you guys rocked it!
