Thank you for the kind review! Chart colors should stay saved once you hit "Apply" in the settings window. They're stored in your browser, so they can reset if you switch devices or your browser clears site data. If it keeps happening, email us at support@backtestingmax.com and we'll figure it out. I started trading 3 months ago, I discovered this website about a month ago and it is helping me since then. Unlike the other backtesting websites which are paid, this website is actually very good. The analysis on the homescreen is also very good.

probably the best free backtesting platform
this platform helped me a lot through my first year, unlike other free backtesting sites this one actually gives u a good amount of data instead of just winrates, like max drawdown, shorts vs longs, RR distribution and it even has an equity curve. all for free without ads. only think I wished it had was support for indices but its still a really cool site. would buy a paid version one day.

I want to assure you that while we use AI technology, the platform itself was hand-coded with a lot of effort—it’s definitely not a ChatGPT wrapper or 'slop.' That said, if you encountered that many glitches, I clearly missed the mark on this release for your specific setup.
Since you prefer 'working products' (as do I), I’d love to fix the specific bugs you found. If you’re willing, could you drop a quick note to support@backtestingmax.com with one or two of the main issues? If not, I still appreciate the feedback and will keep working to polish the experience.
