Misshapen
The price was good (50%off), but quality not so great, misshapen and not circle (almost a line on one side). It will do the job but I don’t love it. Some difficulty with ordering initially on site too but resolved via emailing.

Great mat if you know you like the design and colours
I would suggest buying only if you are confident you will like and keep the product. I bought two designs and one I liked and kept it and it is lovely and quite plush (it is not a firmer type foam mat but rather a squishy one). It insulates well and comfortable to walk and sit on. You can build blocks on it.
The other design I did not like - it looked beige on a screen but turned out to be more like pink in real life. Returning was a nightmare. The customer service was friendly but somewhat not very efficient - I had to reach out many times and lots of my precious time was wasted before the return was successful. They also don't refund return fees - was a bit of surprise to me but it is indeed in their policy.

I have bought two mats
I have bought two mats, they are lovely and soft. Upon measuring, they are not exactly the right measurements as it’s says on their web site, shorter by 3/4cm length and width, which is ok for me because I bought two, but that’s something needs to be sorted by the manufacturer.

Not responding to emails
Delivery prompt. Packaged well.
However not overly impressed with actual product. Material feels a bit flimsy and its very very shiny.
I have been trying to contact babymat for days to organise a return.... they are not responding to my emails. One email address they supply in their website doesn't even work.... worried now

Faulty mat return requests are ignored (finally resolved)
Just editing my review to give three stars from one originally. The company finally got back to me and we sorted out the issue. I wish it didn't took so long and me posting bad reviews for them to get a hang of the customer service.
Avoid this company by all means. Tomorrow will mark two weeks of me trying to merely reach Babymat team in order to proceed with a faulty mat return. I paid £78 for something that looks like a fraud now. The mat I received had two creases (grooves) of about 8 inches each. After reaching out to them at the support email specifically mentioned on their website for returns, I received an automatic notification that this address simply doesn't exist. What a joke. I've been sending multiple emails, photos, reminders, instagram messages to both UK and Australian email addresses. The only feedback I got was a week later asking for a photo of a defect, which I diligently sent again. Absolute silence ever since despite my reminders. I wanted to invest in an item that would add comfort and safety for my little baby and would last us years. Instead, I ended up with money, time, and nerves lost. Not something a new mum can afford to waste, and losing this money in the present day skyrocketing cost of living is unimaginable for our family. What a shame on you, Babymat.
