I've been to a couple of B2B Unplugged events and honestly they're a breath of fresh air!!

No awkward networking, no sales pitches, just good conversations with smart people working in similar spaces. Every time I've come away with new connections, fresh ideas and a few laughs. If you're looking to meet people in marketing and the creator world without it feeling forced, I'd definitely recommend it.

I knew I'd love B2B Unplugged before I even set foot in the door! That's thanks to the buzz that Chris and Jake are creating around it on social media. They position it perfectly: as a B2B networking events for people who are sick of boring, awkward, transactional networking events. The format of the event was excellent -- casual yet curated, with excellent table hosts, fun interactive elements, and genuinely thought-provoking prompts for conversation.

I left with a huge smile on my face, a potential business lead, and new founder friends. I've already got 2 follow up meetings with people I met on the night!

I'd heartily recommend! Run, don't walk.

I loved this evening out in London with the guys at B2B Unplugged and the rest of the marketing and product/ business folks. It was very much different from any other networking event or meetup that I normally go to. It was fun, non-salesy (which is always a plus when meeting new people), and it also allowed me to interact with everyone attending like they were friends and not business cards. Highly recommend, the team game was also super fun (and as an introvert myself, that says a lot).

Having attended a handful of events organised by the team at B2B unplugged, I can attest that they are great at getting conversations flowing without the normal painful introductions of industry events. Gatherings that are just the right size with genuinely interesting and lovely attendees, what's not to like?

I love the B2B Unplugged Sessions - I've been attending since the first few in 2025. Being in these smaller, intimate settings has its own set of benefits: I often find the conversations are organic, deep and meaningful. As well as great wine and crisps, I've had so many great connections here that will hopefully last me my career!

I attended the Rising Stars event hosted by B2B Unplugged in June and couldn’t recommend it enough. The event brought together industry professionals at a more junior level, which was amazing - there aren’t enough events like this! It allowed me to step outside my comfort zone and get stuck in, responding to and presenting a brief in such a short space of time. I absolutely loved it!

Jake and Chris have a unique ability to make everyone feel genuinely welcome. They've created a format that takes away the awkwardness of networking, making conversations feel natural rather than forced. You quickly forget you're in a room full of people you've never met and instead find yourself having interesting discussions with a genuinely brilliant group of marketers.

I've attended two events now, and both the hosts and the attendees have been fantastic. The table topics are always thoughtfully chosen, and moving between groups means you leave having spoken to far more people than you would at a traditional networking event.

I have to admit, ending the evening with a pub quiz instead of a closing keynote wasn't what I expected but it turned out to be one of the best parts of the night. For the record, I somehow managed to win one round!

Thank you both for deciding that traditional B2B events could be done better and then actually doing something about it. I'll say it again.. you need to launch that subscription model. I'd happily sign up.

After getting over the disappointment that B2B Unplugged is NOT an acoustic jam where we make up songs about streamlined workflows and leveraging AI…I loved this event. I hosted a table at one of Chris and Jake’s buzzy, friendly evenings in April 2026. I’d never been before but had seen enough glowing praise from attendees on LinkedIn to be intrigued. There’s a unique mix of ingredients that allows people to talk about B2B (among other things) while leaving their professional personas at the door. Maybe it’s the way Chris and Jake make sure everyone is welcomed in and has someone to talk to. Maybe it’s the way people move tables after every discussion question to shake things up. Maybe it’s the lack of a hard sell and the collegiate atmosphere. Or maybe it’s the way the evening ends with a pub quiz rather than a closing keynote. It’s the least work-y work event I’ve ever been to – and you can’t get higher praise than that.

Networking is always tricky; B2B Unplugged made it easy.

I've been to dozens of B2B events over the years, and usually try to avoid them. They lack a genuine space to connect; individuals tend to stay in a corner (there are rarely enough of them), and that's what B2B Unplugged does: it brings a friendly, curated atmosphere and amazing people together. (No corner needed).

I've been to 2 events so far and met key players in the London marketing scene, connected with potential prospects, learnt about trends, and brought online work friendships... into the real world!

I can't wait for the next event to meet great people and have a great night!

PS: The only downside... is that I'm 2 times looser champion of the quiz; I've been practising my culture g... I'll be back!!!

I run networking events myself, and so have a high bar for what good looks like. Jake and Chris have managed to pull a great thing together here. It's focused enough to be useful, and loose enough to be fun. I closed out the evening with a bunch of new and interesting new connections, and a whole bunch of fresh thoughts in my head.

What Jake and the guys are building here is phenomenal! It's an in-person, relaxed, expert-filled room giving everyone a chance to talk about industry-related topics, business ideas and generally provide support to one another. It's also a lot of fun and the pub quiz at the end is something to behold! My business and the businesses of my clients have all benefited massively as a result of my attendance. I feel better informed and have grown my professional network considerably. To anyone thinking of attending, I couldn't recommend this event enough.

I came along to B2B Unplugged to support a friend. What ended up happening is I walked away with 5 new ones. During the mixing of the tables (SO FUN!) a dream table came together and I met my people. We all felt that instant connection and the group chat was born shortly after (this was almost a year ago and it’s still going strong). The cable of people you’re going to be A players only and I’ve had FOMO every single time I’ve not been able to attend IRL. Chris and Jake are pure legends and I already can’t wait for the next hangs. Top guys doing top work. Keep it coming chaps!!

Usually I hate b2b events, I find them boring - you’re usually stuck next to whoever has sat down near you for the rest of the evening. b2b unplugged flips the format, Chris and Jake make it feel more like a cool kids club/friends gathering whilst also learning a lot

The seat rotations, ice breakers and themes leave everyone being much more connected than your typical b2b snoozefest

Always gutted when I’m not quick enough to snag a ticket!

They completely shifted the essence of traditional networking, by creating a space where you can jump from discussing B2B marketing and also connect with the people by competing against them to win the highly anticipated trivia.
The fact that the guest list is extensively curated and limited, makes it easy to have quality conversations and bump into interesting people from the industry. Would recommend if you wish to make lifelong connections without the overwhelm!

B2B Unplugged is the opposite of every B2B event you've dreaded.

No one trying to sell you something "dressed up" as thought leadership. Just a genuinely good room of B2B marketers who actually want to talk to each other and provide value.

The networking doesn't feel like networking which is exactly the point.

I'll definitely be at one of their next events!

B2B unplugged is a great event for marketers who hate networking and know they need to.

It’s a relaxed atmosphere with a great group of people who all want to come together to have good conversations about influencer marketing - without being forced into a stuffy conference centre and told to mingle.

I really enjoy the mix of chatting in groups on specific topics and then the pub quiz to finish is 🤘🤘🤘

B2B unplugged is what I compare EVERY marketing event to (and most of the time I wish I was at B2B unplugged instead).

Jake and Chris have created a format that works every time. You learn, connect and are excited to come to the next one.

I’ve made so many great connections because the event is structured to allow you to get to know people quickly and far deeper than ‘what do you do?’.
