We continue to enjoy Avalon cruises. Don’t think we could ask for a better experience. Boats are always in excellent shape and the food is wonderful.

I’ve never been on a trip that was perfect from start to finish, until now with our Danube Dreams trip in June. Avalon is so well organized and professional. From our booking agent, to our airport transport valet it was just perfect. I adored our table attendant Zorco. All staff were courteous and helpful and went above and beyond to make our cruising experience an enjoyable one

Everything was perfect from housekeeping to the Captain!

This was our fourth Avalon cruise, I believe, and if we’re lucky it will not be our last. We love this particular company, everything about the experience is comfortable, delightful, and fun. The food is always good, the shore excursions are just right, the crew are amazing from start to finish. 100% recommend.

Staff was more than accommodating and attentive. The river ship was clean and modern. There were empty cabins but my travel companions, nor myself, were offered an upgrade. Neither as a free upgrade nor an update with a modest price increase.

The ship’s crew were masterful going through the many lock both daytime and evening.

I know the chef and his staff work very very hard . All there efforts are mastered in more than close quarters. I did find the food somewhat bland and unimaginative. This should not reflect on their skill level or dedications to their craft.

Great food, Great riverboat, incredible staff, great excursions ... nothing could have been better.

The Douro is perhaps the most beautiful river in all of Europe, and the Avalon Alegria is a fabulous way to experience it.

First river cruise and it was fabulous. I have recommended it to several friends.
Accommodations were very nice, staff was outstanding and the food was great. Excursions were well organized and glad we added on to our trip.

Our cruise up the Danube was fabulous! The crew was so friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. The food was so good and so plentiful! Avalon took care of everything. I have never felt so relaxed and pampered.

The tone is that your positive experience is the most important. Every member of the staff on and off the ship conveys that approach.

Very pleasant atmosphere on the Avalon Allegria (decor, river views, and staff)....interesting excursions....fun happy hour.....nice mix of passengers...

The team members and shore excursions tour guides very friendly and knowledgeable. Foods are very goods and room very cleans and the public area too.

The trip was very comfortable, well organized and extremely interesting. Everyone was very professional, helpful and very accomodating.

This was our first river cruise and we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and 80th birthdays. We could not have wished for a better experience and memory. The crew were amazing and the boat was spotlessly clean and well run.

All the crew were very friendly and no matter what you asked or who you asked they followed through to make sure it was taken care of.
The cruise director was excellent and was very knowledgeable about the area and knew about alternate things to do. She was so helpful.

For a group of 9 ranging from 13-79, all were very happy with this cruise. The cabins are roomy, service is friendly & top notch. One thing we liked best was having several "included" excursions to pick from, something for everyone with all being excellent. The food was good, service excellent, port stops with excursions were phenomenal!!

The crew was so helpful and kind. The food was delicious. The staterooms were wonderful. The tours were thorough and very interesting. We loved being on a smaller ship. It was so personal.
