Transport GMC 2500 Crew cab Longbed
Very good quote right away for my GMC truck long bed that needed to be transported. Had tight window to pick up vehicle and with the 5 day window I did not know about I had to have pickup done without my presence. Steve found a driver and we were able to have vehicle picked up remotely. Transporter was great and delivered in less than 1 day from GA to AL.

Bad Experience - But Could Have Been an Outlier …
While I will say getting a quote was easy and the price was fair, once I made the down payment, the commitment level fell off the charts.
There was a 5 day window available to transport my car 5 hrs and the representative I was working with assured me multiple times my car would deliver by the time it was needed, including still the morning of the last day it was supposed to arrive.
It wasn’t until we got to the mid-day point of the 5th day (last day delivery could be expected) when I politely, yet pointedly, asked if they would still get my car delivered by the end of the day … and then got a message saying “nothing yet” and that there are no guarantees, but I was entitled to a refund.
I was very clear the entire time of the deadline to get my car to me and I even questioned why they didn’t even consult me when they found a driver that cost a little more but guaranteed delivery next day. They just informed me after the fact that the option was on the table for a little more money, but they declined on my behalf and then didn’t follow through with their delivery commitment at all and I lost almost a week waiting.
On the 5th day, mid-day. I did cancel my reservation and went with a competitor of Auto Star that picked up that same day and delivered the next morning for just a tad more money.
I hope my experience was an anomaly and based on other reviews, it very well could have been … but just make sure you understand the fine print of what you are signing up for vs what they verbally assure you of, as the two were not the same during my experience.
Nexus auto transport is who I ended up going with and they did exactly what they said they would for the price agreed upon.

From the start of transaction !! They gave me a very good price. They were very prompt. They did exactly what they said they were gonna do I sent an expedition all the way to Dallas, Texas from Jacksonville, Florida . It arrived there exactly when he said it would he texted me pictures showing the drop off. He called me to let me know that it was delivered and it was one of the best Transport transactions I’ve ever used and I’ve been doing this for 30 years at a high level..Great Transport Company to use .

Avoid AutoStar if you actually value…
Avoid AutoStar at all costs. Save yourself the stress and headache of dealing with a dishonest company.
I had a $250 credit from a previously canceled booking that they promised in writing would be applied to my new shipment. Eduardo, my coordinator, quoted me an all-inclusive price of $1,950.
However, the driver showed up on a Saturday—when their office is closed—and the paperwork didn't show my credit at all. The driver refused to release my car unless I paid him $1,550 in addition to the $400 + 250$ I had already paid AutoStar upfront.
In total, I ended up paying $2,200 for what was supposed to be a $1,950 job. When I demanded my $250 back, Eduardo suddenly invented a "base price" of $2,200 that appeared nowhere in my signed contract. It is a total bait-and-switch.
They are great at communicating until they have your money; then, they hide behind bad math to keep your deposit.

I used Auto Transport recently to ship my 2018 Chrysler Pacifica from Phoenix, AZ to Alexandria, VA. Tony Salvini was my contact person and he did a great job. Tony kept me in the loop with regular updates about the status of my vehicle along the way. The most important aspect of shipping my van, was what was inside the van, I had my power Permobile wheelchair inside the van as well. I needed the van to arrive on the exact day when I flew into Regan international airport so I could take an uber van to get the van and my wheelchair so that I was able to move about. Had the van not arrived on time, I would not be able to move at all. I am so grateful to Auto Stsr Transport, and Tony Salvini for doing such an amazing job!

The Best Auto Transport Company in the Industry
There's a reason why AutoStar Transport Express is accredited with the BBB. In the past, I made a poor choice of trusting my vehicles with companies that were non-accredited, thinking there was no difference. There is definitely a difference in all aspects of the process. From the point of initial contact to delivery, the company communicated with me. The driver was excellent and handled my precious BMW M4 with care and kept in consistent communication with me. I opted for the enclosed transport as recommended by the agent and I was so happy with the way my vehicle looked. No bugs, no dings from flying rocks, or temptations by bad actors. I highly recommend this company. They were just a little more pricier than the next transport company but if you want your vehicle delivered hassle free and feel comforted throughout the process then it's worth the little bit more. I will use this company again and will recommend to family and friends.

They were awesome from start to finish
They were awesome from start to finish. I checked pricing on several companies and they beat them by $200 for my transport from the LA area to Boise. Answered all of my questions. I had to change my location drop off from Boise to Meridian after booking and they didn’t charge me any extra fee. Communicated w the driver around pick up and drop off easily through text or phone. I wasn’t going to be present for the drop off (dropped w my landlady) and was able to Zelle the driver directly to not inconvenience her.

Left high and dry by AutoStar
I'm glad so many others had a good experience with this company; I did not. Manny gave me a 5-day window in which AutoStar would find a carrier. Once I paid my deposit (well in advance of the 5-day window), the communication ceased from AutoStar, and the only way I was able to obtain updates was to initiate contact with them. In the end, they left me without transport services and Number 1 Auto Transport came through at the last minute for us. The difference in the level of communication and overall service between AutoStar and Number 1 was night and day with Number 1 being far superior in every aspect.
