I recieved the wrong parts. Auto shack said I can return the items,but shipping was in me. My initial purchase was 4 rotors and 4 break pads. $120.00. They refused to give free return shipping and gave me a number for the return. So as instructed I went to UPS it would cost $180.00 shipping cost. At USPS $130.00 this is more then the initial purchase. I just wanted to fix my car and have been VERY disappointed! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR WALMART.CO

Placed an order through they eBay seller page on Feb 13th. It is now the 18th and the items still have not shipped only label created. The eBay seller page states that the company is shipping from USA which is a lie as they are based in Canada. Been trying to reach the seller and just keep getting automated replies that tell me thank you for my patience. This is very upsetting considering the reason why I purchased is because of the positive reviews on their page. I was guaranteed shipment will arrive by 20th and it seems like that won’t happen. Also I bought a brake rotor and brake pad kit and somehow they managed to separate the kit into 2 shipments with the brake pads arriving possibly before my rotors. Big smh. Seems like they just give you a run around when you need help. Highly unsatisfied. Will be leaving a negative review on eBay page.

Ordered front complete struts and rear shocks for my van and a set of rear shocks for my wifes van. Also ordered 2 rear wheel bearings for my van. Got the extended warranty on everything. Rear shocks lasted less than a month and they were worse than the 200k km originals. Hadn't put the rear shocks on the wifes yet so installed them on mine. Bad right out of the box. Front struts failed after about 2 months. Rear bearings failed at around 6 months. Autoshack replaced all parts with new ones but I won't even install them. Not worth it. Stay away from this place. You're not saving money. You're flushing it down the drain. Btw. I'm a 45 year licensed tech. Installed the parts myself. I would have been more upset if I had to pay labor to install this junk. Seriously. Don't spend money at this place. I don't think they will be around much longer

I ordered a set of front brake pads and rotors .they were very quick getting here and I was happy about that .they sent the wrong pads and rotors for the suv .its a 2008 volkswagen touareg. There telling me to measure the rotors even though on the site it was good for the 2008 with green checkmark saying it was good .but after calling the site there telling me I had to measure the rotors to make sure they were right .how many people are going to go out and take off the tire and measure there rotors to make sure .and the green checkmark ment they where compatible with that suv. Deceiving way to scam people out of the money and I have to pay for the shipping and already paid for the shipping cost to get it here .that is absolutely bullshit and there stealing people's money just like the government. Corruption is not the way .everyone should stop buying from here .nothing but corruption.

Horrible. Took my money 5 times and I still don't have the parts. Matt is apparently a supervisor?? Not sure whose ass he kissed to get that job, but it certainly wasn't earned. And I figured out why they are so cheap, zero customer service, zero customer or employee support and you can't even get the website to actually order parts. What a joke. Pay the extra money and go anywhere else. ANYWHERE.

Terrible customer service!! They indicated that they would have my rotors and pads on December 5. It is now December 11 and the shipper is now saying that the second piece of the order was just shipped? Talked to customer service who outright lied about their mistake. Tried to blame UPS saying they would not deliver the package to a P.O. Box even though UPS is updating the order shipping with no mention of the address. Should have checked the terrible reviews on this site before I ordered!

I had ordered a cv axle for my Jeep. I followed all of the prompts to verify the one for my vehicle, which is stated for a 4x4 on the site. But what is not stated is that this certain axle is meant for an all wheel drive not 4x4. Mine is a front wheel drive/4x4. I finally got to chat with customer service, worst experience ever!!! He basically said that I did not know what I was talking about when I tried to explain the issue.Didn't even want to listen, and kept trying to talk over me. I have been working on cars since i was 14. I'm no idiot about them!!! So now I half to suck up the loss and ship the item back because their criteria on the site does not explain the difference.
Never again will I deal with this company!!!!!

Parts don’t fit the vehicle specified. Customer service rep even said that the vehicle selection on their site does not indicate parts will fit…so not much point in having it. Terrible company. Do not buy parts from them.

I wouldn’t even give AutoShack a single star. The products I received — four rotors and brake pads for my Lexus — were of very poor quality, all made in China and nowhere near the standard I expected. I regret the purchase, as I lost both money and labor costs due to the parts failing.
To make matters worse, AutoShack refused to issue a refund unless I provided proof of a new purchase from another supplier, which is an unreasonable policy. Overall, this was the poorest quality experience I’ve had with auto parts. I strongly advise others not to buy from them. LESSON LEARNED CHEAP = NOT GOOD !
Updated Dec 2nd 2025: Based on the reply from Auto Shack customer team (below) I reached out to Auto Shack, they have an opposite opinion, saying they only send replacements (NOT REFUND) if the parts are defective. In my case the replacement parts that you will send will have the same defect, how does that in your opinion solve customer problem?!? Please speak to you customer facing department and request them to refund this order # 1271901. PLEASE I dont have time to go back and forth with different team members and discuss what your warranty policy is.... THANK YOU

I have never—ever—in my entire life dealt with such an unprofessional and despicable company. Every attempt at communication was ignored. They showed absolutely no concern about my package or where it was. The mistake was entirely theirs, yet they chose to ship with one of the worst carriers, FedEx.
I sent seven emails over three days with no response. When someone finally did reply, the message contained nothing helpful—just empty, dismissive words with zero accountability. This company genuinely does not care about its customers. To them, you’re nothing more than a dollar sign. If they screw up, they simply move on to the next customer.
Customer service is nonexistent. They put the wrong label on my package, which led FedEx—another incompetent company—to lose it. Had I known they used FedEx, I would have never ordered from them, even if the product were free. It makes sense that they work together—birds of a feather flock together.
Update:
This response is a desperate attempt to make the readers think they are trying to be concerned.. After 8 emails and a scathing review they finally decided to do some investigating.. However their information is wrong...What they're doing is making assumptions based on what they see.. They did not speak to fedex or any of the supervisors who told me they put the wrong shipping label on the box which caused the delay... The package was 200 miles from my house and then all of a sudden it went all the way across the country...Incompetent company plus incompetent carrier equals Incompetence... I have already ordered and received the part I needed within two days from another supplier...

Two years ago I purchased break pads for my minivan, I was told they have life time warranty, I did not believed it after contacted them, Today I received the front and rear pads. that makes me to buy more from Auto shack again.

They are the worst possible company to get car parts from and if you order them they give you free shipping but when it is the wrong part they wnt you to pay shipping back which in my case it was more to ship it. Ack than what I paid for the parts

I ordered a radiator from Autoshack on Ebay and it was sold as coming with a 6 month warranty. Just under 3 months later the radiator developed a large leak at a seam. I inquired with the company through Ebay messaging about their 6 month warrany and Autoshack never replied back. A couple of days later I attempted to message them again only to find that they had blocked me. Very dishonest company with low quality parts.

I ordered a full front brake set for my car. The parts arrived and came with the wrong brake pads. The rotors and calipers were correct. So since I was in the middle of the repair, I went and bought the correct pads locally so I could finish. When I contacted them I clearly explained this multiple times.
Day 1 please provide year make and model of car.
Day 2 please provide full vin number of car along with picture of correct and incorrect part.
Day 3 does car have 5 studs and what is the size of your rotors.
Day 4 was told they were in the investigation process to send return label and if I didn’t want to wait I could send them back myself at my own expense.
Day 4 explained again it’s just the brake pads.
Day 4 was told they did not do partial returns.
They did offer to tell me what car they actually belong on if I wanted to sell them locally.

I ordered a complete shock and strut package from your site when it came your company sent us the wrong ones and we contacted you ! We were told to send back the parts and we would get a refund but we’re not compensated for the shipping that cost us 79.00 two months later we were back to square one , not the kind of online experience I would think you would want to offer return customers order number 702-7372503-0
In response to your reply you are wrong we verified that it was the other struts as they are specific and we have the texts to prove it your site sucks that you do not rectify the situation rather than issue a refund without compensation for the shipping return ! I will share these reviews far and wide as it should have been customer satisfaction rather than a partial refund !!
I know lots of mechanics and I may be one person but your service was less than stellar

Ordered from their website said it would be delivered October 1st was never delivered even though it said it was out for delivery for the tracking then same thing for the second I'm still waiting on the 3rd and still nothing at 12:42 p.m. update they finally came in at 6:40 p.m. today October 3rd
