Had some communications issues
Had some communications issues. Wasnt happy with their interpretation of my text describing the car. Even after correcting it with them prior to posting they got it wrong. Otherwise I was very happy with the outcome.

The 86 Alfa Spider was not vetted for…
The 86 Alfa Spider was not vetted for known issues. The car had no second gear synchro. Transmission required a rebuild. Sellers should be required to disclose known defects.

not being familiar with the bidding process in the last few minutes- we may have paid a bit more than necessary. i still am not certain how the bidding is operated during the last minutes if more than one bidder is involved. eg- reset time for bidding, how often will it reset? who knows.

This has been an interesting exercise …
This has been an interesting exercise Trading from thousands of miles on the others side of the world .one day ahead and 6hrs behind, means we have to be up in the early hrs of the day to participate. However Auto Hunter kept me informed with notifications and I developed a system to enable me to bid with very short notice compared to customers based in the USA. Very helpful AH people made my life a great deal easier. My thanks to the team at Auto Hunter.

Auto Hunter is fantastic
Auto Hunter is fantastic. It's a sister company of Classic Cars where I had put my car up for sale. They suggested my car was a good candidate for their auction and it didn't cost me a dime. They walked me through the entire process and even helped write up the article for the showing. I put a reserve of $6500 hoping to get that. When it was all said and done, the winning bid was $12300. I couldn't be happier the way they got me more money and helped a great deal. I have already told everyone I know about Auto Hunter. TY
