Got a great product (Roland EV5 effect pedal) at a great price, well packaged and delivered promptly...what's not to like?!
Albeit pedal is second-hand it looked and tested like new. Ordering process was simple and straightforward. First stop for me for anything AV in future.

I purchased a large keyboard from them. I was happy with the price, the free delivery, the fact that the product matched their description and the 30 day warranty. I liked the fact that they were willing to do a special for me (factory reset) at no extra cost and when they were unable to achieve this they gave me a discount. Their price was better than ebay prices and I felt much more comfortable buying from them rather than ebay because they are a legitimate business, they take responsibilty for delivery and I had the assurance of the 30 day warranty if any problems occured. My only criticism is I couldn't find a way to talk to them on the phone. All my issues were sorted by email but it often took a day to respond and a phone call would have been much more efficient. Overall I was impressed and am more than happy to proceed with selling some equipment through them.

Found Audio Traders when looking for a buyer for a spare pair of speakers. They gave a quote quite quickly, which probably didn’t match what I could have achieved from a private buyer, but given that they would have to sell them on and that I would be relieved of the hassle of a private sale I considered was fair. The speakers were collected within a few days, passed their tests and the agreed amount paid into my bank account the next day. All in all a straightforward and satisfactory experience.

A seamless transaction. Was offered a fair price and once I accepted audiotrader arranged to collect my guitar the next day. It was sent 24hr delivery and I was paid as soon as it arrived. It's refreshing to find a vendor who appreciates the importance of settling payments quickly compared to companies like reverb (I've had to wait more than two weeks) and eBay.

Bought a guitar from Audio Trader’s online shop (delivered 9 Dec 2025). The guitar received appears to be a child‑sized instrument, which wasn’t made clear in the product description. I contacted them on 11 Dec 2025 to cancel/return and asked for a full refund and a return label. They replied saying I’d be charged return postage, then stopped responding.
This is frustrating because their own Refund Policy states that if a return is accepted, they will send a return shipping label. Their policy also says to contact them immediately if you receive the wrong item so they can “make it right”, but that’s not what happened.

Their policies are also confusing/misleading for UK customers: the Refund Policy says the “European Union 14 day cooling off period” applies only for goods shipped into the EU, but UK online buyers also have a statutory 14‑day cancellation right from delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. That legal right exists regardless of what a retailer’s policy says, so the wording risks discouraging UK buyers from exercising their rights.Finally, the Terms of Service include broad statements like “we are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate” and “use is at your own risk”, but UK consumer law still requires goods to match their description.

Overall: unclear policy wording, poor communication after the first reply, and not a straightforward returns process despite their own stated returns policy and won’t use again.

simple to fill in the form, payment made within 2 days of the item being picked up although the royal mail person was surprised by the size of the box.

Ordered 3 times from these guys now, no problems at all. Very good service and will definitely order again without worry!
