These weird 1980s steampunk looks and ergonomics, Times New Roman font, an aeroplane black box weight and quality. But Jesus Christ, the detail, the edge, the precision, the air, the resolution and the straight wire preamp. I tested it vs a 15k Mola Mola, and a 10-year-old Dave was in a different league. A 7k Naim preamp into my Naim 250NC amp only blunted and rounded the sound. No wonder it costs 10+k and you have to wait for a new one, 12? yrs after it was designed.
