Not convinced
I went to Hidden Hearing as I was beginning to find it difficult to make out conversations in company unless people enunciated very clearly. Most of the test and time was taken up proving this point and making me “accept” it. Emphasis was also put on the co- relation between hearing loss and dementia which can be true of severe hearing loss. However in my lifetime, I have known many people with considerable hearing loss whose brain and functioning powers remained excellent. I felt the over emphasis was both scare- mongering and sales pressure rarher than addressing my needs. With the hearing loss which I was experiencing, what I wanted was to discover if a hearing aid would make a significant enough difference to justify spending around £3000. I did not find the hearing aid which I tried made much difference at this stage.

We expect our appointments to be informative and factual and we are sorry that you felt your needs weren't addressed in full during your appointment. When patients visit us with a hearing loss, it can come from many different sources, be at different stages and often, each patient will have varying amounts of hearing health knowledge. We want to support patients exploring their degree of hearing loss and we understand the unknown can sometimes be scary to explore, the same as with other medical appointments. We are very grateful for your feedback so that we can be mindful of our delivery.
Depending on availability, we do offer our patients the option of trialling a hearing a hearing system during their appointment. However, we acknowledge that those few moments are often not enough time to understand if there is a significant difference and so we do offer a 60 day money back guarantee so that patients can use the hearing system in the surroundings that are a priority in their life. If you feel that you would like to take advantage of this in the future, please do let us know and in the meantime, we wish you well on your hearing care journey.

Outstanding demonstration of cutting edge hearing aids
Reception and the coffee on arrival made us feel welcome and set the tone for the remainder of our visit. The hearing tests were comprehensive and well explained and included the opportunity to trial some of the latest technology in hearing aids in a genuine environment. This was an eye opener to the level of hearing support that can be obtained through cutting-edge hearing aids. A very worthwhile visit.

Amazing service

A very professional and welcoming place
I had ear wax removal today at the Salisbury branch. I arrived early and was given a warm welcome from the receptionist along with a coffee and a biscuit. I was then greeted by a lovely lady( I’ve forgotten her name already) and had everything explained to me very clearly. Within 20 minutes I could hear clearly again! The premises were spotless and everything and everyone were so professional. Definitely the place to go if you need a hearing test or wax removal
