We went paragliding with atlas trekkers. The guys were great. We’re had an amazing time. It felt safe and was a really positive experience. We absolutely loved it. For me it was a long term dream and they made it great fun. Such an awesome memory.

This 4 day tour from Marrakech to the Sahara was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. There are tour operators that do it in 3, but by adding a 4th day you discover special places en route that you would not otherwise have time to explore, including: (i) Dades Gourges where we spent the first night at the Monkey Fingers Guest House, tucked in a canyon-side village where you feel as far away from tourist places as you can get! The house is run by an Artist with her creations throughout, (ii) Ait Ben Haddou - where many movie favorites were filmed from the Mummy to Gladiator. We had time to take the Atlas Studio Tour in nearby Ouzarate which really highlighted why this part of Morocco is such a popular choice for filming.

The desert tour starts as you approach Merzouga, where our guide Abdul helped us with our head scarves that are both beautiful and functional, protecting you from the elements of the desert. It was a breathtaking 80min camel caravan ride into the desert camp where we enjoyed a traditional meal and arose to see the beautiful Sahara Sunrise. An unforgettable life experience for myself, wife and 9 year old daughter who named her camel Carmel.

One word of advice, while most of the restaurants along the trek were excellent, I have suggested that they look for a different option than Tokyo restaurant on trip back. It was a bit unfriendly and charged me 5€ for a cup of cold soup, which sets a new standard for inflated “tourist prices”. But relative to everything else which was perfect, this was a “blip”.

To conclude, what made the whole experience so magical was the outfitter we chose - Atlas Trekkers who were beyond caring in ensuring we had the best time possible. Our driver with us for all four days was Abdul, who showed us gorgeous sights not listed on the itinerary, and taught us so much about the land, the people and the history. Always with a smile and focused on giving us the adventure of our lives, it was an honor to share this experience with him. If you are looking for the memory of a lifetime, Atlas Trekkers and Abdul are there to make it come true.

Thank you ever so much for this experience . The takeoff and landing and the bit when in the air were a breeze. I was worried they'd be some sort of turbulence but none if that. Thanks for a great experience Abdul. Was great celebrating hubby's 40th too on that day x

Booked Paragliding with Atlas Trekkers for our last day in Morocco. The only regret is that we didn't do it earlier in our week so we would have the chance to do it again! An absolutely amazing experience. Our guides/pilots, Abdul and Mohammad, were amazing, so reassuring, we felt like we were in good hands for the entirety. Can't recommend them enough!

Es war eine tolle Erfahrung! Die Agafay Wüste ist wunderschön und die Fahrt hin und zurück war auch toll. Wunderbarer Sonnenuntergang in der Wüste!
Das Gleitschirmfliegen selbst hat wirklich Spaß gemacht und die Leute waren freundlich und einladend. Sie erhalten tolle Bilder von der gesamten Erfahrung. Alles in allem kann ich es nur empfehlen! :)

Booked paragliding experience for my husband’s birthday! The most memorable experience of my Morocco trip. The team were very experienced and made us feel very comfortable. Booked early on the same day and got a very fast reply.

Esperienza indimenticabile super consigliata. I ragazzi che lavoraoi li sono tutti super gentili e disponibili rispondo a qualsiasi domanda (anche su whatsapp) parlano inglese e francese perfettamente. Le attrezzature sono tutte professionali e in ottimo stato.

Da fare assolutamente se si viene a Marrakech, a circa 50 minuti dalla città, t’immergi in paesaggi meravigliosi e rilassanti ma comunque provi anche adrenalina di prendere il volo da 1300mt con il parapendio. Tutto il team di AtlasTrekkers veramente fantastico e accomodano ogni vostra richiesta.

We had an amazing experience paragliding. Everything was taken care of. The driver was really nice and polite. 10/10 experience. Would really recommend.

This was the highlight of our trip to Marrakesh. We were travelling with our two young kids and their grandmother, so I had a lot of questions about safety before we booked. They answered all of my questions, and were very responsive and helpful. We were interested in the paragliding, but they also arranged a sunrise hot air balloon ride, desert quad biking, camel rides, and a Berber dinner with fire show! At every step, they went above and beyond to make sure our whole group was included and taken care of. Everything was perfect, and everyone (kids, adults, and grandma!) had an amazing time. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

My sister and I had an amazing experience, from the pick up to the actual paragliding and then drop off, all the pilots are experienced and made us feel safe, a special thanks to Mahjoub who helped us reserved our slot and communicated with me accordingly on WhatsApp about pickup and drop off, he’s a very cool and humble person.

We did the 4-day dessert tour with family-owned local company AtlasTrekkers and loved it. Mahjoub was super accommodating and helpful when planning the tour as well as when we suddenly ran into some unexpected changes. Such great service and kindness. Same goes for our super driver Abdo who took care of us with great kindness and attentiveness. He, for instance, proactively suggested additional tourist sites along our route when we were a bit ahead of schedule (which my history-nerd partner loved). The tour included amazing stays along the way in locally-owned guest houses and hotels off the beaten path which served amazing food.
