What can we say regarding Atlas team. Excellent service and professional guys. Paragliding team very professional and helpful team. Top of the top was Omar ( tour guide and driver). We have been in so many countries for holidays but these guys, especially Omar , were beyond the expectations. No rush, polite , very clean and ready to complete our wishes. Definitely we recommend them.

My husband and I had an amazing experience! Our guide, Abdul, was fantastic!!! He took us to hidden gems, ones that only the locals know about. He was very generous to us! The camel ride was such an amazing experience! The desert camp was beautiful! Everyone involved has been extremely hospitable! 😊

I recently completed the 2 day Toubkal trek with Atlas Trekkers and wanted to share some feedback on my experience. I have emailed this to Atlas Trekkers themselves but also wanted to share with the public.

The hike itself: This is a very grueling hike, 2 days of hiking, over 3000m of incline (some very steep) and a 3am departure on the summit day. I am a reasonably experience hiker and normally hard hikes don’t phase me but day 1 was in 40 degree incline with 13km of steady incline was hard and that was meant to be the easy day. I would recommend you prepare for this with snacks and the right clothing. The summit day is grueling, both the up and down. The up part being in darkness and the summit being incredibly cold. The coming down was difficult and sticks are very helpful. I also suffered from altitude sickness so be prepared that everything also feels a bit harder than normal. That being said the views are amazing and the sense of achievement is incredible when completed.

Here are some further areas for improvement:

Booking & Communication: It seemed that the arrangements were handled not directly by Atlas Trekkers, but by an affiliated company. This wasn’t clear at the outset. On the website it says hotel pickup which was not the case, this is fine however slightly more annoying when I couldn’t locate the driver, there was no communication or support.

Information Provided: Important details were not explained in advance. For example:

Breakfast was included, but this wasn’t communicated.

The general schedule (e.g., that lunch would not be until after 2pm) was unclear.

The level of difficulty and potential issues with altitude were not adequately explained. Normally, UK tour companies require participants to have sufficient travel insurance for such treks, which I believe is very important for safety. The hike is to above 4000m which is above the requirement for most travel insurances. I found the hike incredibly difficult, we had a lady who didn't make it to the summit who was young and incredibly fit. This difficulty level should be clearly communicated.

Group Composition: The group I was placed in consisted mainly of people in their 20s. While I was able to keep up, it was very challenging, and if I were any less fit, I would have struggled to complete the trek. It would be much better if groups were divided based on fitness levels and experience, so that everyone can enjoy the trek without feeling left behind or pushed beyond their limits.

Guiding: We had two guides. Jusef (unsure of spelling) was excellent, but his limited English meant communication was sometimes difficult. This meant we weren't sure how much longer or the answers to other questions. The second guide was very good when present, but he appeared sporadically rather than accompanying the group consistently. On summit day, one participant struggled significantly, and without a guide at the back to support her, the whole group had to keep stopping. The second guide eventually appeared and helped, but it would have been better if he had been there from the start. He was also the guide with very fluent english so we really needed him there at all times. While this may not be the responsibility of Atlas Trekkers, if they are to operate with an affiliate company, I believe this should be fed back to them.

End of Trek: After the long day summiting Toubkal, descending, and hiking back to Imlil (a very demanding day), we had to walk an unnecessary 40 minutes through town to the transport point. A vehicle could easily have collected us directly. On arrival at the final point after walking through town for now reason, including actual roads where we could have been driven, we arrived exhausted yet still had to wait for taxis back to the meeting points (not to our hotels).

Payment Process: At the end of the trek, no one seemed clear about how to pay the balance. This was confusing and not ideal after a 3am start and more than 20km of trekking.

Overall, while the trek itself was amazing, the lack of organisation at key points left the group feeling frustrated. I hope this feedback is helpful and can be used to improve future experiences for others.

Je vous recommande Atlas Trekkers pour le professionnalisme, la sécurité du vol, la gentillesse. Pour les personnes qui souhaite faire leur baptêmes en parapente, vous êtes en sécurité et cela est important. Ma compagne a fait un deuxième vol durant notre séjour au Maroc au coucher du soleil, le soir à table ses yeux brillaient encore de ce beau vol. Je remercie Majhoub qui a fait le 1er vol et Abdo qui a fait le 2eme. C’est une formidable équipe. Je remercie aussi les chauffeurs qui nous ont accompagné, Omar et Hassan .
Quand, on reviendra au Maroc, le parapente sera mis à l’honneur de notre voyage. Encore merci Majhoub et Abdo.

J’ai vécu un moment vraiment fort avec Atlas Trekkers. C’était ma première fois en parapente et franchement, j’avais un peu d’appréhension au début… mais dès l’arrivée, j’ai été mis à l’aise. L’équipe est incroyable. Ce sont des pros, oui, mais surtout des gens profondément humains, chaleureux, simples, vrais.

On est accueilli avec le sourire, on te parle comme à un pote, on t’explique tout sans te mettre la pression. On sent qu’ils aiment ce qu’ils font, et qu’ils ont envie de partager ça avec toi. Et puis le vol… waouh. La vue est juste époustouflante, le calme là-haut, la sensation de voler… c’est difficile à décrire. Faut le vivre.

Mais ce que je retiens surtout, c’est la gentillesse des gens. Ce n’est pas juste une activité qu’on fait puis on rentre chez soi. Non. Après le vol, on prend le temps, on partage un thé, on discute, on rigole… on est ensemble, vraiment.

Je repars avec des étoiles plein les yeux et une vraie gratitude dans le cœur. Merci pour ce moment que je n’oublierai jamais.

J'ai fait mon baptême de parapente avec AtlasTrekker. C'était incroyable, je remercie vivement Mahjoub l'instructeur et toute l'équipe pour leur professionnalisme, leur sympathie et leur prise en charge du début à la fin du vol très rassurante. C'est une équipe au top qui explique très clairement les instructions avant et pendant le vol. Je recommande très vivement. Allez y en toute confiance.

Super expérience ! Les communications était top le guide super sympa et les personnes qui nous accompagnent durant le vol sont incroyables souriant et très gentille !

I loved my paragliding experience. All of the guys were so nice, put me at ease, good humour, clear instructions, amazing flight. Loved it. The views were incredible. I felt so calm, it was so peaceful. I was the only one who didn't speak French but everything was translated for me, and translated very well. I felt included despite the language barrier between me and the others paragliding.

I booked this paragliding experience as a surprise trip, and it turned out to be one of our highlights of our time in Morocco!

From start to finish, it was nothing short of amazing. The team, run by the incredible brothers, were simply fantastic. Experienced, kind, and full of good energy, they made us feel completely safe while still keeping the vibe super fun. Their calm, reassuring presence made it easy to relax and fully enjoy the flight (even if it was our first time!).

The views? Absolutely breathtaking. Soaring above the mountains with the wind in your face and the vast Moroccan desert landscape stretching out below . this was an experience I’ll never forget. As soon as we landed, I turned around and said, “Let’s go again!”... and honestly, I will go again next time I’m back in Morocco.After the flight, we were treated to a cozy little tea break with snacks, this made the whole day feel even more special.

Can’t recommend this experience enough. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or just looking for something unique and memorable to do, paragliding with Atlas Trekkers is an incredible experience.

One of the Best Experiences of My Life!

Paragliding with Atlas Trekkers was absolutely unforgettable truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The views were breathtaking, and everything felt incredibly safe and well-organized from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Majub and Abdul they were so kind, professional, and made the whole experience even more amazing. They explained everything clearly, helped me feel totally at ease, and were just such genuine, lovely people.

If you’re visiting Morocco and want to try something adventurous and memorable, I 100% recommend Atlas Trekkers. You won’t regret it!

Una maravillosa aventura en la montaña. Realizamos la ascensión a mediados de mayo, pero las condiciones del tiempo no nos permitieron llegar a la cima; creo que aquel día ningún grupo lo consiguió. No nos importó. Compartir unos días con Hamid, un guía profesional y cercano fue lo mejor del viaje. Ayudó a mi amiga en la bajada porque se formó mucho hielo y el descenso se puso complicado. Seguro que volveremos el año que viene con más amigos y esperamos que Hamid sea de nuevo nuestro guía. Y a ver si a la segunda lo conseguimos!!!

Une expérience à couper le souffle des paysages incroyable, vous allez voire les montagnes de l’atlas et un très beau coucher du soleil.
L’équipe est très agréable, souriante, gentille, ils vous explique tout.
Le vol en lui même était très très très bien et confortable, ont croiraient voler comme un oiseau.
Expérience à refaire.
