They're greedy and arrogant - even when you pay for the service, they artificially block standard features, forcing you to buy more and more! And they constantly try to cram features you don't need into the package. They also constantly use your data to train their AI.

I set up a loom account which automatically enrolled me into this terrible service without my knowledge. I used the loom account to record A SINGLE video, on their 'free version' and was automatically enrolled to the most expensive service after only 14 days, again without my consent. Its been an absolute nightmare trying to delete my account, and now im apparently 'overdue' a bill that I didnt even consent to in the first place. I've still not been able to delete and this is clearly done purposely to keep people trapped. No customer service to get hold of as they know exactly what they're doing. AVOID ATLASSIAN AND LOOM AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I did this account unpurpously thinking it was something else and now it is impossible to delete the account. It is scam and frustrating.

They take your money easily but when you try to leave the platform they will make sure it is one of the most convoluted and frustrating processes known to man. Scammers!

Loom wurde nun auch von Atlassian übernommen und meine ganze Firma kann sich nicht mehr einloggen, dankbarerweise gibt es keinen Support.

Horrible scam, LOOM unknowingly made me this account and it's impossible to delete, now it says I should pay for some subscription? Total scam, horrible company and website. Loom is a scam too.

Like other reviewers, the creation of my account was completely unintentional. Trying to remove it after the fact is next to impossible. I am going to reach out to my pediatrician and BEG them to find a different solution because this is insane.

Almost impossible to unsubscribe, or delete your account. You keep getting frequent emails without the option of the "unsubscribe" button. Took me an hour to finally manage to somehow deactivate my account. Terrible user interface experience.

I am a user of Atlassian and they are alright, but their processes are a little bit too complicated. Nice piece of tech, but I feel that they sometimes overcomplicate their features, and this creates a bad user experience. Still one of the most advanced platforms for enterprise businesses.

One of those companies that make unsubscribing as difficult as possible.

Trying unsubscribe and delete my account was almost impossible. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY and his rich jerk MIke Cannon-Brookes.

I’ve been using Loom for over 2 years and was paying around $20 per month, which felt like a fair price for a tool I use occasionally but find useful when needed.

Out of nowhere my bill jumped to $72 per month. No warning, no approval, no confirmation.

It appears Atlassian upgraded the account without any clear confirmation or approval, resulting in a large price increase.

This feels extremely misleading and unfair. I am currently contesting the payment but had 0 repsonses - Fraudsters

Atlassian has an interesting way of ensuring customer loyalty by trapping you into subscription plans and things you didn't sign up for and making it difficult to leave.

Absolute garbage company. It's literally impossible to unsubscribe.

It’s impossible to delete the Loom account, which I never even used. Why? Because it’s connected to a main Atlassian account that I didn’t even know I had. In short, this company’s business model feels fishy and like a trap. Avoid it at all costs.The Loom trial period does not end as expected and instead converts into a paid billing cycle. The account deletion process is slow and frustrating. I will not be paying for a service I didn’t intend to subscribe to. This experience feels misleading.

Avoid if you dont want your work deleted. We spent 1000 hours doing a lot of work in jira to have it all lost because we didnt log in and missed and email. They will delete your site if you don't sign in

Truly horrendous. Don't use.

No customer support, and a task that should be easy (deleting an account with no active subscriptions or billing) becomes a multiple day process with teams who literally don't speak to each other - I asked if they could and they just replied saying thanks?

I created an Atlassian account by mistake and I can’t delete it. I already tried everything. Their instructions don’t work and they perfectly know that. I am sure they intentionally made account deletion impossible. I only get messages like “You can’t delete youself” or “Your account can’t be deleted”. There are no laws for them. My advice is to not get involved with Atlassian at all.

Make it impossible to delete your account after starting a free trial (with Loom). Sinister, creepy, strange business practice of trapping you with their account. I would recommend NOBODY sign up with Atlassian as a result.

Out of the sky they charged 50% more for my Loom subscription. Blocked future payments.
