Terrible deposit response time
Terrible deposit response time. Had to pay for a notary to sign a statutory declaration. They took over the time they had to respond to sorting out the deposit. I initially disagreed with the deductions but they said they would let the deposit service handle it and no response since. I chased them up when I decided I didn't want the hassle of going through the dispute process which they where counting on. I would warn people to stay away from them as they will try there best to take all of your money but tell you before hand that "I think you have a good chance of getting all of your deposit back".

poor service
went to view a house and contact will kent via email. while emsiling him he stated that he couldnt find my name on the system. he then said he had spoken to his manager who is happy to go ahead with the application, then the next day after numerous emails of him asking many questions regarding my credit file, he then said i would need a guarantor, but then i said i shouldn't do as i dont have any ccjs ect. he then said that i need to view the house again but could not do the viewing for over a week later. it honestly seemed like he just could not be bothered to but my application in. what a failure to a company.

I'm disabled and on section 8 back in…
I'm disabled and on section 8 back in January when I tried pay my rent the app I have to use to pay my rent on wouldn't allow I tried to reach them by phone text and email and no one would ever answer me back this went on for like 2 months then 3 days ago I get a note on my door telling me I have 4 days to get out I'm confined to my bed and if I get out anywhere it's in a wheelchair and I have no where to go

We can’t thank Ashton enough for everything she’s done to help us get settled into our new-build property. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly supportive, organised, and proactive. Any issues we raised were addressed promptly and professionally, which made the entire process so much smoother and far less stressful.
Her communication has been excellent, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about making sure everything is handled properly. Moving into a new build can be overwhelming at times, but Ashton’s dedication and willingness to go the extra mile made all the difference.
We truly appreciate all her hard work and couldn’t have asked for a better property manager. Thank you, Ashton!

Still waiting after 5 weeks for someone…
Still waiting after 5 weeks for someone to come out to sort electrics out. We have reported this so many times followed the correct procedure, promised someone would be in contact. Said it had been through as an emergency. ?!
Electrics keep tripping. The dishwasher works then stops half way through. The cooker, lights, boiler, fridge/freezer and lights and sockets in the back 2 bedrooms are also connected to the circuit??
This is a family household and with the cost of rent the service isn't acceptable!

I have been a tenant with Ascend letting agents for over two years under the care of Faye Newton, I have had three occasions to report faults and they have been resolved quickly and without fuss. The contractors used by Ascend have been excellent and Faye ensured permission to commence the fixes was quickly obtained and that I was kept informed of progress.
