Inspired by the traditions of the Aran Isles. The folklore and tales of the islands have connected Celtic families for generations. The Aran Islands are home to a close community of farmers and fisherman. Living just off the coast of Galway the Aran Islands face the wrath of the Atlantic Ocean every day. The classic Aran Sweater was created here with a signature cable knitted for every fisherman and the traditional designs have been passed down through the generations. Today, the Aran cable knit is now recognised as a definitive symbol of Celtic heritage.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!
I bought a sweater headband and fingerless mittens, all beautifully made however, the fingerless mittens came and only one had a thumb hole.
I contacted customer service and asked if I could return them for a non-defective pair. I was told that the replacement would incur duties and taxes (that I already paid), that they have no control over if but that I could get a refund instead, so I opted for a refund...RADIO SILENCE...BUYER BEWARE!

Besvarelse fra Aran Traditions
Hi Deanna, Apologies for this. We had somehow missed this email. I think as we were responding to emails from both you and your husband in separate chains about the same order it must have got lost somewhere. It was not our intention to withhold any funds. We have refunded the cost for the faulty mitten. Apologies once again for the manufacturing defect.
Great Customer Service
I had a problem with some mittens bought for ma as a Christmas gift. Sam was incredibly helpful and sorted the problem graciously. Lovely replacement mittens, thank you.

Beautiful product, only issue was cost. Was £5 cheaper from shop in Stirling but did not have in cream, so ordered direct from company as usually same price or cheaper, not in this case. However, lovely hat and wife very happy with it.
