Awful company. I’ve been waiting two days to get simple answers so I can make a doctors appointment. No one is available except for SALES who doesn’t have access to any of the customers information, therefore unable to help. It’s ironic they want to bring more customers in for profit, but forget to hire people to answer the phones. I’ve been through this before with another insurance company who quickly was driven out of business. I filed a complaint with my state’s insurance board today. No one should have to wait days just to make an appointment and understand the copay responsibilities.
I had to report a "change of life" report with healthcare.gov to switch insurance. Antidote was horrible. No one has heard of them, not even the doctors, pharmacies and labs listed on Antidote's site. The only thing I did get out of it was a virtual visit with a nurse. That was covered. Don't expect anything else to be. I am with Oscar now, also an affordable plan, but one that actually works and doctors accept!
Antidote has been absolutely abhorrent in the 3 months I have had their "coverage". The website is chock full of inaccurate information, their chat feature does not work at any time of day, there are no answers to phone calls, and emails are ignored. The cherry on top is that a provider I looked up was listed as being $0 copay with my coverage; however after my appointment, the provider is now trying to charge me, saying insurance is not covering anything.
I'm going to give them a chance to rectify the situation, but if it does not improve, I will report them to the Arizona Department of Insurance. Will try to update this review based on what happens.
The worst. I signed up for Antodote in error back in Dec 2025 and to date have yet to get a refund of $819.00 despite dozens of calls over the past weeks. I’ve wondered if it’s actually a scam! I would never recommend them.
UPDATE: Okay, now I just found out that Antidote is NOT PAYING my allergy doctor, where I get weekly allergy shots. This doctor is "Tier 1" in their network, and this treatment was approved by Antidote. This is going to be a MESS, I am so furious.

I think Antidote gone out of business or is about to. Their website is full of WRONG information about health care providers that accept their insurance. I've left MANY voicemails at the member line over 3 weeks, and no one ever returns my call. The voicemail says "someone will return your call within 24 hours" but it's been over 3 weeks, and no response.
I tried calling the number to sign up with them, and got a woman who was helpful. She said that she works for a company that contracts with Antidote, but that "I've been flooded with calls recently from people who can't get through to them!" She suggested that I call the physician line; I did, and a person there said she'd put me in touch with someone. She put me on hold... but after 30 minutes (!) I gave up.
They're still taking my premiums though, ha.
I have reported them to the State of Ohio Department of Insurance.
I'm working with healthcare. gov, to see if I can switch to another insurer even though it's February, because if Antidote hasn't gone out of business yet, they're about to.
Worst company ever- two days out for a telegraph visit? Your CEO is living it large while people SUFFER! Do the right thing and more doctors you doc people!

This the absolute worst health insurance, they do not pay according to your plan. We have had to appeal every claim including the lab that they told us to use. They have denied claims that were pre-approved for. Have spent many hours on the phone trying to straighten out issues. They even tried putting a yearly physical (which is supposed to be covered according to the federal government) towards my deductible.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANTIDOTE HEALTH! They do not have any member support and will purposefully drag out the claim appeal process despite having admitted plainly that their original claim approval was wrong and that they should have covered the full bill. Pathetic excuse for a company.
Website does not work, trying to get someone on the phone to talk to is nearly impossible.
I tried the Antidote Health plan from healthcare.gov this year and it's been awful. From broken tech ( I have yet to be able to see a claim without an error message), to ghost claims where the doctor gets a letter that they can't verify me but antidote (after 45 minutes on the phone) tells me it's been paid (at the wrong copay amount). The worst is that ALL of my doctors showed as part of their network when I signed up in December and by mid-January ALL of my doctors disappeared and there wasn't a single dermatologist in their network that saw adults in a non-emergency setting. Getting any answers on claims requires hours on the phone where the service rep puts you on hold to talk to the claimns people, doesn't get full info, and then has to call them back many many times. AVOID the health insurance part of this company!!!!! I'd rather now go uninsured the rest of the year than pay this company another dime. I've cancelled my plan.
