I bought the day two and eight travel package from Angliadna. Yes this is one of the cheapest, however it was still £169.
There was an issue with the first delivery, it had been forced through the letter box by an over excited postman. The original package with my address was missing and the box damaged and the contents all over the floor. I tried to contact Angliadna, on their covid testing help line. I tried 5 or 6 times on hold each time for 30 minutes before putting the phone down. They have a message on there to email any queries. I called another Angliadna contact number, which was for there alcohol and drugs test helpline. This had little queuing their agent said he wasn't part of the covid test helpline, but would help as best he could. A new test arrived the following day.
On day two I took the test and returned it to Angliadn via a priority post box. After two days of waiting I'd not received the results, same issues with the covid test phone line, unable to get through. 5 full days after the test and multiple hours on the phone with no luck I called the drug and alcohol line again, they said the result wasn't back yet. As this was day seven, I also informed them I had not received the test for day 8. They said the would inform the department. I finally got the result at 11pm on day 7.
I also emailed the department (still no reply even though its 6 days later).
The test didn't arrive on day 8, again I had to call up and tried contacting them through Facebook messenger. I had a reply on the 9th day (still nothing posted) they said they would send a courier, who will wait while I take the test and take it when it was complete. The courier came at 6pm but said he had no instructions to wait and he left. With it being the 9th day I'd contacted the NHS test and trace and organised a test through them, this was done before I had info a courier was going to deliver a test.
I took the NHS test, not the Angliadna, as that was late and the time to get the results was too long, 5 days after they received the test.
I've also received a test kit on day 10 and 2 on day 11 from Angliadna.
This service was terrible, and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I've sent a request for a refund on day 9, as I didn't have the test kit for day 8.
I've had to extend the isolation for an extra day, as you either have to have a day 8 result to complete your isolation, no result then you have to isolate up to day 14 or when you get the result.
They need to sort out the methods of communication, the speed that they test and give the results. Also the distribution of test kits. They have sent too many too late.
Angliadna if you read this, please sort my refund out.
