Fantastic lessons at Battle Abbey Pool, Bexhill.
After 3 years of 121 lessons with no progress decided it was time for a change for a change and I am so glad I opted for Angela’s!! Understanding teachers, who motivate the children. Always greeted politely at the desk and given feedback when request!

My daughter started at Angela's Swim School at just 4 months old. We have been attending lessons weekly ever since and now, aged 10, my daughter is swimming for a local swim club and is always being complimented on her beautiful technique. This is 100% down to the swimming programme delivered by wonderful instructors through Angela's unique programme.
My daughter still attends weekly classes as well as swimming 3 times a week for her club because she loves it.

Both my children swim at Angela's Swim School at Notre Dame, Surrey. The teachers are compassionate and knowledgeable, and have never ending enthusiasm. Love the Swimstylers Characters and how you can progress through all the levels and identify with each new character as you get older.

Our little boy has been with Angela's Swim School since he was 4 months old, with Millie in Gravesend. The classes are brilliant, they go at a great pace for the kids age and are always adaptable on the day to how the kids are feeling. Really recommend them! Our boy has come on so much in confidence and general enjoyment in the water since having lessons.

Highly recommend Angela’s swim school my son has been attending for a few years now and has come on leaps and bounds with his swimming. They also offer a crash course during the school holidays which is brilliant

My son and daughter have been swimming with Angela’s Swim School at Notre Dame School in Surrey for a couple of years. The classes are small, usually only 3 or 4 per lesson and the teachers, led by Julia, are friendly and supportive. The ‘Swimstyler’ techniques taught have helped make both kids confident, strong swimmers who both love their time in the pool every week.

Our children have been attending Angela's Swim School at Notre Dame for over 2 years now (across various levels and a mix of both private and group swim sessions) & have made fantastic progress. Julia is always so helpful with any queries and requests, and the teachers (particularly Jess and Ryan) are so enthusiastic and encouraging.

The team at Notre Dame School Surrey is absolutely wonderful. We have been coming for more than 3 years now for weekly lessons. The facility is great with onsite free parking. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love Angela's Swim school. We go to the Cobham one and can't thank them enough for all the support they have given us. My son struggled to even get in the water when we first started lessons and they totally supported both him and me in such a caring way. He now swims with such confidence and looks forward to his lessons. I also really love that he and my daughter can have side by side lessons in different ability groups. It means that I don't have to go to multiple lessons! Both the kids look forward to their lessons and have fun whilst learning. I always recommend Angela's Swim school to everyone!

Our two children have been swimming at the Notre Dame Cobham classes for a few years now. Julia and the team are excellent, and the kids are excited to go every week. The progression is noticeable and both have become confident in the water and strong swimmers for their age - the lessons are also great fun and they have both built lovely relationships with their teachers. Highly recommended.

We have been going to Angela’s swim school in Notre Dame school, Surrey for three years. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, always trying to make the sessions work for us as a family but more importantly for our two boys. We have had a mixture of 1:1, 2:1 and group classes at our request and every session we have seen the boys grow in confidence and become strong swimmers. This swim school is all inclusive from nervous swimmers to swimmers with additional needs. They adapt their lessons and ensure they get the best out of the children every session. So lucky we found these sessions couldn’t recommend the Notre Dame branch highly enough!

We booked one to one lessons for our autistic children and gave the school information on their additional needs. Parents weren’t able to be present in the session, the children felt uncomfortable and reported the instructors were rude to them. We emailed the franchise owner to discus the matter a few times and no one has got back to us, we’ve been completely ignored. I wouldn’t recommend, particularly if you have children with additional needs.

My children had never been swimming before, on the first lesson, there wasn’t any greeting or what to do/ welcome etc, just ‘yeah send them in’, I had no one to explain to that the little one had never been swimming.. there is also no window to watch them, they let me in for 5 mins but made me feel unwelcome. You have to pay for a term upfront and what a waste of money. I asked numerous times what they were doing and what they were learning and I just got ‘they’re doing really good’, so after that and emails.. because I didn’t pay for a badge and certificate.. I’m still none the wiser!
We have started new lessons elsewhere and on the first one it was clear my youngest hadn’t learnt a thing from Angelas swim school. My eldest already knew how to swim really from just taking them ourselves.

So I wouldn’t recommend at all! Really poor swim school with no communication (apart from loads of emails to renew)!

If you’re looking for a swim school that can help to improve your Child’s confidence in the water then look no further this is the best swim school for you and your Child!!!! My son was a very nervous swimmer having had a bad experience at another swim school! From the moment I started my booking process the staff were really helpful and willing to call me and answer any questions I had to give me peace of mind this was the right swim school for my Son. When we arrived at the pool the warm welcoming we received from both the pool coordinator and swimming instructor was very friendly and certainly made my Son feel comfortable to enter the pool. The teachers are lovely all very welcoming and smiles all round. Angela’s Swim School offer more than just teaching a child to swim they really do spend quality time with each child’s individual needs in their small class sizes (which has made such a big difference in my Son’s progress) we are on our second term and my Son is now swimming unaided with confidence, the only downfall I would honestly say is that each week my Son does not want to get out of the pool!!!! Thank you Angela’s Swim School and to all of the staff at your Bromley High Venue.

Our son started Jan 2021 1:1 lessons - He has Autism and verbal dyspraxia - very shy. He had been group swimming lessons for years before so wasn't new to swimming. Since joining he has had different teachers most weeks with no warning - most don't get in the pool, most unengaged and couldn't give a crap, most have no idea about SEN. He has been shoved in a tiny corner of the pool , then shoved with grown adults swimming half of a width. He hasn't in 3 years been taught much even basic 3 strokes we have complained numerous times but speaking to Angela is impossible - the last complaint the women refused refund anything told us she do referral to a charity then later said she can't do that. He has received same badges - they employ anyone , don't be fooled they don't care and just care about the money. I would never recommend this School to anyone especially not SEN parents. if you want your child to be distressed, learn nothing while you pay them go for it - if not please wait for another school for 1:1 lessons.

My children could swim the basics before joining Angela’s but needed to brush up on their technique. I can now say their technique is fantastic and along with other skills have become accomplished swimmers. They are still swimming to gain stamina and continuing to progress on their skills and distance badges. Would recommend lessons on our experience

Having only completed one term of swimming at Cobham, Surrey I cannot believe how much progress my 5 year old daughter has made. Friendly and approachable manager who explained the importance of technique and the process to get there. She wasn’t wrong, and have far surpassed previous lessons and my expectations.

My experience of this swim school has always been good for me and my son, who came here first. Teachers seem to know what they're doing and the venue works very well for us. We both have made progress and friends do comment about how good my swimming looks these days. I have to speak as I find and I think the school is good.
